[ helping people was a recent thing— a while back, silver was much more of a loner than he was now, scoffing at those that couldn't making it through tough times and deem them weak and worthless. he'd turn his back on them through arrogance.
but luckily, the years have taught him it's not really like that. people are strong in their own ways; just because they need help doesn't mean the rest of them should be judged. he's had a patient girl to teach him this, and not only has he experienced help himself there, but here as well. at least gengar's ball was fixed, and he would no longer be paying any midnight visits to people such as dipper.
but maybe he'd be able to see him again sometime :)
that time isn't particularly now though, with terrors striking anyone they see and stalking them in groups. silver nearly runs right into dipper and his bike at a small intersection, jolting back out of the way with a startled sound he didn't really mean to make or even be heard. forget about that, though! because his own small group of ghosts would rather not be bothered by the feathery weasel pattering alongside him, that's proven to keep them at bay, so.
they've chosen a different means of approach. take that crazy driver-less car multiply by two, and you have one whacked up chase that looks like ten three year olds picked up gta vs mode. ]
