Who: Inaba Himeko (
dereban) and you!
When: IC: 4/27; OOC: 12/23
Where: CERES Gym; ViViD.
What: After the event is over, Inaba decides to have some downtime and do a little training to get her mind off of the past events. Of course, she also decides to revisit ViViD to see if the fake Heartseed is still there, which he is. If characters wish to deal with random supernatural shenanigans as a part of a "boss battle", feel free to ask for a specific one - phenomenons are listed here, but we can roll with something silly that isn't on there, let me know.
Rating/Warning: Crude language from Inaba's end, as per the usual and some light violence. Let me know if this needs to be updated.
► OPTION I: PUSH IT, PUSH IT, TO THE LIMIT, LIMIT (Gym)
► OPTION II: I DON'T KNOW, YOU DON'T KNOW, NOBODY DOES, BUT IT'S HAPPENING ALL OF THE TIME (ViViD)
► OPTION III: W-W-WILDCARD

► OPTION I: PUSH IT, PUSH IT, TO THE LIMIT, LIMIT (Gym)
- [ After all that's happened, Inaba decides that although studies may be important, there are things that are even more so, especially in the colony. Although the ghosts are all gone and all her emotions are set back in place, that doesn't change the intense worry that she feels after gaining them all back.
The hole she feels deep inside of her seems to grow bigger with each event that passes, and she... honestly doesn't like it. There's too many people with abilities here, and the idea that she can't do anything hurts her. She doesn't show it outright and instead tries her best to keep it all together, but it doesn't always work out.
No more mistakes. She's not as strong as Yui is, not even close. She knows the bare minimum for self defense, and some wrestling moves she learned to impress Taichi. It's not enough. To her, it never is. And even though she's finally settled on the fact that she doesn't have to do things alone, that she can accept help from her friends that she's earned here, she still... feels slightly unsettled. Whether it's because she knows full well that her friends can't help her all the time, or perhaps the fact that the glitches can continue to mess with her mind, it's all too much.
Which is why she decides to train her body instead of her mind, just for once. She can train her mind when she gets home, and school work isn't important when the robots don't even care. She's only just going at this point for the credits and to also see some of the people she cares about. Wearing her hair up, she decides to take a dummy and start practicing her jabs and kicks. They're not perfect, for sure, but she has potential. And while it might wear her out a lot, she's trying her best.
Of course, until she tries a spin kick... something that might just hit the nearest person, if only by accident. She'll have to apologize if that's the case. ]
► OPTION II: I DON'T KNOW, YOU DON'T KNOW, NOBODY DOES, BUT IT'S HAPPENING ALL OF THE TIME (ViViD)
- [ It's dangerous to go alone, but she doesn't take anybody with her. She knows full well what this game can bring to the table, but nevertheless, she has to revisit the area. To make absolutely certain that what she saw there was real. Even if it is a fake, it's a fake that needs to be deleted from the system.
Which is why she's here. She's all dressed up and ready to fight. Cupping her hands, she calls out: ]
Hey! I know you're out there! Show yourself already! [ Of course she's probably referring to you, right? There's no way that she could be asking about anybody else. ]
► OPTION III: W-W-WILDCARD
- [ Want to play something else that isn't those two options? Feel free to hit me up, either via PM or on my plurk at

You might want to watch where you're swinging your leg.

Yeah, yeah, sorry about that. I was just trying something. Didn't know that someone would walk in.
no subject
I wasn't expecting to, you're just lucky I have fast reflexes to see things coming. If you want lessons on leg work so badly I can give you a few.

[ She mouths the word and forms a 'o' with curiosity. ]
... Ah, actually, that would be helpful. I don't know much outside of the karate Yui taught me, actually.
no subject
I don't know what karate is, but I'll show you how Templars train. Most only train in the art of the sword, I on the other hand like my diversity.

[He's been curious about it and wants to know already. But then he decides to focus on the training part of their discussion.]
Anyway, I'll show you some of my abilities. The first one I'll show is called Knuckle Sandwich and it's a very hard punch. Watch me closely to take notes.
[He goes up to the training dummy and gives it a good punch in the stomach area. The result is a nice big dent in that area from his punch on the dummy itself.]

That is, until she finally sees that it's her classmate, who... doesn't actually fight, as far as Ryuko knows. ]
Geez, and I thought I was gonna have to kick someone's ass here.

[ Her somewhat serious demeanor relaxes a bit, somewhat... disappointed. But Inaba doesn't seem to have a problem with it in the slightest bit; in fact, she's relived, in a sense, even if it wasn't what she was looking for. ]

The CereVice drops to the floor as Inaba tries out that spin kick, and Touka avoids getting hit by an inch or two.]
What—? [Processing what the heck that was, before she actually notices Inaba. Thanks reflexes for doing your work.] Jeez... Watch where you aim your kicks. You could seriously injure someone.

[ She immediately lowers her leg as her voice cracks ever so slightly. That wasn't supposed to happen and she knows it. And yet, it happened regardless of her wanting it not to. Bowing apologetically, she manages, ]
Sorry. I didn't think anybody else was going to walk in.

[JUST. Kind of scratches the back of her head, grabs her CereVice real quick, makes sure it's not damaged... Yeah.]
Was this your first time attempting something like that?
[Guessing. Her other guess is very rude, so she won't say it.]

[ Her voice trails a little awkwardly as she finds herself unsure of what to say. Something that is rather unlike her, but, well, it's just kind of embarrassing to just screw up in front of other people. ]

Ah... That contained some fervor, Inaba-san. [He flashes a thumbs up quickly.] Well done! Please, keep on working hard!

I'm still trying to improve quite a bit, seeing how dangerous it's been getting around here.
no subject
That sounds like a very wise move, Inaba-san. I would like to do everything that I can to protect you! But... I know that I cannot always be there...
I can see that you have a strong drive! Now, you must keep on applying that in working hard!

In the end, one's most reliable ally must- must be their own strength itself!

I think it's nice to rely on your own strength, but I like having my friends beside me, as well. We can't have nice things, though.
