[Open] If you're seeing things, running through your head...
Who: Anyone who wants to jump in! Yes, even muggles. Someone has to pick up the magical idiots after they collapse.
When: Last day of the ghost event
Where: The hole on the wall
What: Sealing that assholehaha get it, hole
Rating/Warning: None for now, let me know if it's needed
Notes: Sorry I didn't get this when I promised, internet problems. But here it is now! As always, any questions or ideas you wanna see here, don't hesitate to pm me or comment on the ooc post. Which, btw, should be your guideline too as to what the characters will go through.
[Unnatural. An abomination.
That's what's inside the wall. If the negative energy coming from that hole wasn't enough, what's waiting for them is actually worse. They need to do something asap - ghost fighting isn't going to be enough.
Thankfully, spreading the word isn't difficult. Rei knows a lot of people and Jack flies everywhere rather quick - well, if their fellow citizens need the warning in the first place. Because the negative energy is so strong that anyone slightly spiritual can tell how fucked up the hole feels.
People with a variety of abilities are gathering around the hole. Holy and light powers are quickly discovered to work best and, though at first it may look useless, builders of physical walls like Jack's ice are welcome too. The blessing of the light together with the building of a new wall is the perfect combination to finally clean the colony from this awful energy.
Passing out is a given afterwards but hey, totally worth it, right? (Thanks,Obama Ceres.)]

[This is so wrong. His mind is screaming lots of things at the same time, his center wants to slap him on the head. Wrong, wrong, wrong... but they need him, as much as it sucks to admit it. They need all the help they can get. So why are all his instincts so against it?]
Get out! I know you're out there, Pitch! [He cries out on his perching on the roof edge of a building, looking down at some rather dark and suspicious alleys.
How bad could it be...?]
2. Baby it's cold outside
[He is magical, but not particularly holly, so it's a bit hard to make his ice work on that hole at first, especially with the black sand adding to the dark side of things. He knows the spiritualists are putting up the guards and spells little by little and it takes time, but if he doesn't go all out he won't be able to stand much longer.]
I hope everyone brought a jacket!
[Because it's time for a blizzard to help him with the icing of the whole. The wind and snow try to push the ghosts back, to protect the others behind white too, but it's not like Jack has full control of it. Sorry for the snow on your hair and the slippery floor, buddy.]
3. I'll be lounging on the couch, just chilling in my snuggie
We did it? ...we did it!
[Jack laughs and throws a punch in the air... only to quickly land on his butt. He's suddenly very, very tired. He whispers wind but only a breeze blows by - the blizzard of course having finished some minutes ago already. He puts a finger up, about to say something sarcastic on this situation... but then grins and lies down, the taste of victory enough for him not to bitch.]
...totally worth it.
3
[Patting Jack on the back when he falls down, the poor guy looks exhausted. Happy, but definitely worn out. Ene doesn't have any powers herself, and felt a little useless sitting back and watching, but even so she stayed to make sure it all turned out okay. Even if it was just to encourage or pick up someone like Jack who was pushing themselves to the limit.]
Good job out there~ You guys totally did it!
no subject
We did it, didn't it. How is the rest of the colony now? Any changes?
no subject
It's all quiet now. Looks like those ghosts all backed down in the face of your might~
2
Mostly she tries to stay out of everyone's way and that seemed to be working for her... Until now.] Huh? Jacket--? [WOAH OKAY HELLO.
Yuri flinches, one hand going up to her hair as snow blasts through, and in her confusion she
hurts herselfslips and falls to the floor with a cry of surprise. Her camera goes skidding away as well, but she can't be bothered to move after it at the moment please hold.]O-Ow...! What was--? [Seriously what the hell. Yuri's more than a little disoriented right now.]
no subject
[He actually means that for once, so he flies down to stand between her at the wind. The black sand is mixing with his ice and slowly taking form. he guesses he can pause a moment before adding another coat. The storm still rages on, but at least there isn't ice flying everywhere for a second.]
You okay? This is yours, right? [He uses the crook of his staff to drag the camera on the floor back to her. Admire nice!Jack now before this is over and he goes back to pranking everyone in the near future.]
2
Perhaps you should focus on fixing that hole instead of hoping everyone brought jackets.
[Then in that same moment with the snow and ice, Angelo is reminded of Orkutsk and that terrible blizzard he was in when he first visited. Ugh. He dug his heels into the ice as best as possible, but even he slips before catching himself. This wasn't the time to be messing up or screwing around.]
no subject
[The sarcasm, can you feel it? Not hard to detect. What is also easy to feel for Jack is the different kind of wind mixing with his own. He does keep shooting ice at the hole like Angelo suggested, but that doesn't stop him from glancing at the man every now and then.]
...the different wind. Is that you?
no subject
You're not the only one who knows how to control wind.
no subject
Then make good use of it and try to keep it off people's backs!
[A controlled storm is a good storm. No, really!]

Oh get over yourself Frost. I am only here for a single purpose, and it has nothing to do with you.

[He squints at the alley until Pitch shows himself - thank goodness for that. He isn't in the mood for a blind chase at this precise moment.]
The ghosts. This whole dark... energy thing. How do they react to your powers? [Have you been using them to be more powerful, bastard?]
no subject
[ There are plenty of them and he was just shadows and fear. Both of which have gotten a great deal stronger since the ghosts punctured the metal wall around the colony. But there was a direct correlation between the darkness and the sickness that was still spreading like a plague with the only transmission factor that Pitch could see being goodness. Which meant that Haru was very ill and Pitch simply wouldn't stand for that.
So time to fight fire with fire. ]
My power on the other hand...
[ Pitch extended his hands at both of his sides and grinned as the shadows seemed to become denser around him. They grew and grew, caged only by the ground, like shadow-puppets of inky black. This is much more than he was capable of before. And lest you think he's restricted only to the ground, many of those dark, amorphous shadows (that are very vaguely horse-shaped if you look closely) climb the walls of the colony.
He has absolutely used the ghosts to be more powerful. ]
Has increased many times over.
no subject
A frown appears on his face, obviously disliking where this is going. A more powerful Pitch? Ugh.]
I should've known you would... So what now, not jumping into the hole for more? [Then he mumbles to himself.] This was a bad idea...

[This has to be done. It was necessary, even if the entire thing was terrifying. Sailor Mars had fought evil spirits before, yes, but never like this. Never without Sailor Moon at her side. Showing any sort of weakness wasn't acceptable though, not now. The plan was set, and she'd have to just work her magic as best as she could. Confidence. That's what she needed. Even if it was faked.
Stepping forward towards the breach, she looks to the people assembled.]
Does anyone have any last minute questions, before we get going? There won't be any time for doubt once we begin.
[The wind picks up, a sudden lightness rolling off her as she starts getting her personal defenses in place.]
2. The Deed is Done...
[With the seal in place, every fiber of Mars' being aches. Strained doesn't even begin to describe what she's feeling right now. Letting out a sigh, she takes a few steps clear of the working and lets out a thready laugh.]
God, it's done!
[Mopping sweat from her brow, she unsteadily teeters over towards a seat on an upturned trashcan. Shaking her head, she closes her eyes and mumbles a silent thank you.]
Thank you, everyone. We...we did it.
[And then...she slides backwards onto the ground, totally exhausted though still managing a serene smile.]
1
But he's face down demons before, served one even, so his demeanor is steady and poised.]
At your signal, Priestess. [ With such a powerful force, he doubted that fire would be truly effective, and he takes a moment to prepare an abjuration spell in it's stead. While fire was his favorite, it wasn't his only resource.]
no subject
Good. Then follow me, and keep what you can away from me. I can't risk this being disrupted.
[Stepping ahead, she strides to a few paces away from the hole, hair buffeted by the wind.]
no subject
He nods, following her in stride, taking up a defensive position behind her. Their positions set, he holds his hands up, calling the verdant spheres to circle around him. It was one of the few times he had deemed it necessary to harness their power as a catalyst, and they glow bright green, almost as if they were on fire themselves.
There's a low hum as the mana shield around them materializes, it visible as the same shade of sickly green as the spheres. The shield was powered by fel energy, and would feel unnatural to anyone who had practiced magic.]
Let us see how strong they really are! [ Despite his usually reserved nature, the battlefield was where the Sin'dorei prince really thrived.]

Korra walks over to Mars, dragging her feet, just in time to catch her slipping to the ground.]
C'mon, let's get you somewhere more comfortable than the ground. [Crouching beside her, Korra hesitates, and then gives her shoulder a light shake to see if she'll wake up. She doesn't want to wake Mars up, but she doesn't want to just bring her someplace random without asking first either.]
no subject
Thank you, Korra.
[She braces her knees and pushes up, using the solid girl as a support.]
I just need a minute. Heh.
no subject
I--uh, never caught your name. But you recognize me, I'm guessing from my messages on the CereVice or something. [Smiling ruefully as she lends Mars the support she's asking for.]

1.
Are you alright? If the ghosts find you again... we have lots of of people with light powers, you know.
no subject
I'm fine. We're not sealing the ghosts away, we're just stopping the ghosts from sending more and more out. And blocking whatever's inside from getting out.
I don't think those five will oppose me. I'm not giving them to CERES, I'm just protecting our people. And that was what they wanted, for me not to give them to CERES.
no subject
[Even if Jack is tempted to do so when it comes to certain assholes. He looks at the hole, squinting his eyes as if could help him to see better.] Whatever is inside... They didn't tell you more, did they?

2, slides in here a week late whoops
It wasn't difficult per se. All her spells still worked at full power, so she's definitely been through worse, but the sheer number of enemies wasn't something anyone could have prepared for. She did her best, and everything she had left in her tank was spent supplying the others with mana, the recharging spell usually a last resort used to keep the ones who could actually put up a lasting barrier on their feet. ]
That's all of it done, then?
[ You don't often see Nanoha barely able to stay in the air, but the wings of magic around her feet slowly flicker out of existence as her altitude drops, eventually landing next to where Rei is. ]
I almost expected a final boss to show up or something, but looks like we're lucky this time.
