Phase I
[Ami hadn't gotten a chance to swim, properly, since they had been taken to the jungle by force, and that was more for survival and less to clear her head. She was gliding through the water, eyes closed as her mind focused on everything. She was going through everything she had previously compartmentalized, unpacking it and allowing herself to address it in her element. Each kick of her leg was fluid, each swing of her arm a perfect arch. Swimming beside her was an octopus Cybuddy. The cephalopod seemed incredibly content to be with Ami and
She just needed to find some way to make herself feel better after what was essentially the biggest, stupidest move she'd ever done by going and confessing her feelings.
So wrapped up in her thoughts, Ami didn't notice when someone else jumped into the pool until she nearly collided with them. She stopped just in time... or well, mostly in time.]
I'm so sorry! [She swam back a bit, making sure they were alright. Her octopus moved to wrap around her shoulders.] Are you alright?
Phase II
[She was currently glaring at the top shelf in the supermarket. Why would you even make a shelf that high? She wasn't terribly short, but even on her best days she couldn't reach that high up without jumping. She sighed. She really wasn't in the mood for this. Ami frowned and searched through her cart before pulling out the bag of dried fruit before she took a few steps back. She did some quick calculations, threw the bag and watched as it, and the box of cereal fell towards the floor. She smirked as she caught both and set them into her cart.]
Honestly, who thought it would even be a good idea to put the shelves that high? We're not all 6 feet tall.
[She stopped suddenly when she saw the other in the aisle and blushed. She cleared her throat and gave a small nod while her octopus cybuddy waved with one arm while the others were organizing the cart.]
Good afternoon.
Phase III
[She was walking home, her octopus on his leash as he crawled along the sidewalk. In her arms were her groceries although honestly, that wasn't the thing that stood out. The giant octopus was quite content leading the way, although every once and a while, his long tentacles would wrap around the ankle or shoe of another passing by, only for a little bit, of course, it was just trying to get Ami home safely!]

ii
Kaneda hears her mutter to herself and finds himself snickering. And at the greeting, he inclines his head.]
Yo. These corporations are pretty rude to us shorties, huh.

[Her octopus, Tesla held out a tentacle as he it heard the greeting Kaneda offered and was programmed to offer a hand-shake when it heard one. A tentacle curled around Kaneda's arm.]

Politely.....]
And then they get shitty when people climb the shelves-- damned if you do, damned if you don't!
no subject
Ah, I don't tend to climb them. [If he saw her, then he'd know she was more inclined to use physics to get what she wanted.] I don't want to risk a shelf that might not be sturdy, honestly.

Phase II
Good afternoon, miss.
[He looks at the items in her hands, and then briefly at the very tall shelf. Considering how short he is, the fact that they even put products up that high seems even more... vexing? Especially if the things he might want is a little out of his reach. (Unless he climbs or try to jump without getting a stool...)]
... They put the products up far too high.
no subject
If you like, I do not mind getting something for you.
no subject
... Really? You don't mind?
[He's a bit surprised, since she's a stranger to him.]
no subject
Just point it out.
no subject
Can you get that one for me, please?

If I were an easily offended person, I'd try to defend myself but I really couldn't care. What do you want off the shelf?
[Of course, Archer was grocery shopping. If he wasn't cooking or doing other chores, he was preparing to cook and do other chores, which meant this was the place to be for him.]
no subject
These are all on the top shelf. [She offered him the list and gestured to the matching items. Tesla meanwhile was reaching out and running a tentacle along Archer's arm in his attempt to shake it in greeting.]
no subject
Alright.
[Yes, brushing away those tentacles because lord, pets are awful.
Once he's not being bothered he starts loading up Ami's cart with what she has on her list.]

no subject
[Simple enough. He'd much rather do it that way than have to rely on others to do the shopping for him.]
Most of this will be going to my business.

phase ii!
That's one way of doing it, I guess.
[Look. This is pretty funny to him, okay. Don't mind him as he just kind of snickers.]
Though — anything more fragile than that, and I'd suggest asking for help.
no subject
Yes, I did consider that within my equation, but unless I have someone around of your stature, or a step-ladder, I'm afraid this will have to be the means of acquiring everything t the moment.
[Meanwhile, Tesla is reaching out to wrap a tentacle around Jason's arm and shake it in greeting. Hello, his name is Tesla! Nice to meet you!]

[ As her ankle is being grabbed by the creature, Ryuko is reminded of that one tentacle hentai nightmare she had. We all have those, it's perfectly normal--
OKAY, SHE'S DRAWING HER BLADE NOW. ]

It might be a little jarring to see him shirtless and without his cravat. He's not that buff (but one can tell that he does work out), and a faint scar can be seen on his abdomen. That one is a CRAU thing too, like the muscles.]
Er...yes, I am. [He nods.] And you? [Even though he hadn't actually crashed into her and he could see that she was fine, it couldn't hurt to ask.]
no subject
My deepest apologies for nearly running into you. I'm usually more alert and aware. [She offered a nod in apology.] I'm glad you're not hurt.
no subject
"Usually more alert and aware"? Hmm. Ami was the type to always be alert and aware.]
Is...anything wrong? [He pushes away some of his damp hair getting into his eyes.]
no subject
Oh ah, it is quite kind of you to ask, Edgeworth-san. But I shall overcome it, don't matter.
