What: Edgeworth takes his dog around, and runs into people. Adorbs ensues.
Rating/Warning: Dog. Grumpy prosecutor being a little less grumpy.

[OPTION A: RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT

Edgeworth is taking his dog out for a walk around the district. And before he can do anything, the big and very real tricolor border collie suddenly stands up on his hind legs and barks excitedly at the first person he sees (which is you, sorry). Pess may or may not brace his front paws on your thigh or any part of you he can reach, tail wagging with anticipation. It's a new friend. New friend!!! On the bright side, he's a pretty clean dog. NEW FRIEND!!!

Edgeworth doesn't care, and gasps at this public display of affection.]

Pess, no. [That firm "no" is all it takes for Pess to behave, although his tail is still wagging like crazy and he's panting and grinning as a dog would. Edgeworth sighs, shaking his head. He's quick to apologize.] I'm sorry; he enjoys meeting new people.

[Far more than his master.]

[OPTION B: SHOPPING DISTRICT

There's a cleaning robot. It's doing its business, sweeping up some debris from a nearby food stall. Suddenly, out of nowhere comes this border collie. He bounds over to the robot, starts sniffing it, and promptly raises one leg ominously over the poor thing.

What do you do, responsible citizen of Cerealia? What do you do - well, while Edgeworth hasn't caught up with his dog, anyway?]

[OPTION C: GARDENS

Pess is a pro at getting people to play with him. So while you're there, you may just find this dog walking up to you with a stick, or a ball, in his mouth. He drops this at your feet, wanting a game of fetch. If you take too long to decide what to do, he'll just sit down, tail wagging happily and staring up at you with those big pleading puppy eyes.

Edgeworth is close by. He'll be looking for his dog when Pess takes a bit too long to get back to him.]

[OPTION D: GARDENS/SHOPPING DISTRICT/RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT/POLICE DEPT.

Drop something? If you did, you might just find this dog picking it up and offering it back to you suddenly before Edgeworth can act. Yeah, I guess Edgeworth is in this prompt too. Thank his dog. And the master, maybe. THEY'RE GOOD PEOPLES...er, peoples and doge.]

[That gets a chuckle out of him. At least that was something CERES did right - keeping the jungle creatures out of the colony.]

Did you build Demo?

That's right. [ he looks at demo, and he barks. ] The first CYbuddy I ever made.

Apart from being a pet, what does he do?

[Edgeworth has a feeling there's more to Demo than just being a typical CYbuddy, if Tadashi can build those scanner birds or whatever he called those.]

[bropane]

[ ah... it's admirable how smart edgeworth is. he immediately gets that there's a catch to demo. ]

He knows first aid. [ a beat. ] Have you met my brother, Hiro Hamada?

[prosecutory]

[First aid? Edgeworth gazes in awe at the robot dog.]

Not yet. [Maybe Tadashi or someone else will introduce him.] Why?

[bropane]

Ah, it's nothing. Because if you knew him, you might have seen the nurse bot with him.

I designed Demo after him.

[prosecutory]

Did you also create the nurse bot?

[A nurse robot sounds so handy. And it would take a lot of brainpower to assemble one. It would need a database of common illnesses and injuries and other medical conditions, not to mention all the remedies for those.

If only Natalia could have seen this robot. She would be so delighted.]

[bropane]

Yeah, I did.

[ and he takes a lot of pride in it. ]

You should meet them sometime. [ and he knows how well hiro would receive edgeworth. he seems smart enough for hiro. ]

[prosecutory]

[If Hiro is anything like Tadashi, Edgeworth really does want to meet him.]

It must be convenient, having a robot like that around. [And then Edgeworth bungled Baymax's name, the end.]

He is. [ he laughs. ] Especially when the robot's a superhero at night.

[ you like superheroes, edgey, don't you... ]

[prosecutory]

It's a nurse...and a superhero?

[That's some robot. But it's probably better that a superhero robot can provide medical care too.]

[bropane]

[ he shrugs and pockets his hands. ]

He was a nurse first, but Hiro turned him into a superhero.

[prosecutory]

[What a remarkable pair of brothers. Geniuses both, from the looks of it.]

In short, you made a robot, and your brother upgraded it for another use.

Very impressive. [A nod. Edgeworth may not be so technologically inclined but he can appreciate hard work like that.]

[bropane]

Don't tell that to his face, Mr. Edgeworth. He'll grow an even bigger ego.

[prosecutory]

Hmph. [His mouth twitches in amusement. That reminds him of someone he knows, too. Maybe more than one someone.] I'll keep that in mind.

[bropane]

So— [ back to the dog. ] How long have you had your dog?

[ it's always interesting to hear about pets, even back at home. animals are cute, ok. ]

[prosecutory]

Five years.

[OF COURSE THEY ARE.]

And how long have you had your cat?

[Cats are better than nothing, at least.]
