Family Dinner and Preparations therefore

I- Grocery Store

Han's not quite sure how he's wound up with so many people under his care. It was a gradual process, and somebody has to do it. But the end result is that if he wants to hold dinner for everyone he's taken on, it involves quite a shopping trip. So he's loading up his grocery cart with all manner of meat and vegetables to feed his crowd.

II- Heading Home

He's got quite an assortment of shopping bags, in the end. He stops to shift a few items around to make the bags easier to carry and comes across...

He definitely didn't buy a mask at the grocery store. "Huh."

III- Anakin's apartment, Kylo's apartment

He's not sure either of them are really keen for the idea of joining a family dinner. But they both apparently are family. So he's knocking on their doors to at least invite them. Leia would want him to make this effort.

IV- For Han's army of Jedi and Digidestined

Family dinners are always one of Han's favourite things. And there's no reason he shouldn't continue that here. He's prepared a classic Corellian sausage dish as well as a lighter Alderaan inspired salad that Leia once mentioned and invited all his assorted strays to join him for a proper family meal.

"Are you sure though? Shouldn't we wait for the others? It'll be kind of rude if I just ate before them!" Even though his stomach was growling badly and wanted something to eat. Of course, his mom usually let him eat first anyway but he wasn't at home anymore.

He was at someone else's house and he needed to be polite!

"This is pretty casual." Because Han is at his heart a very casual guy. Formality is something he dealt with when he had to and that's it. Something he organized didn't need it in the slightest. "No sense in lettering your dinner get cold."

Takeru just stared back at the food and then back to Han. As he continued to repeat this process, it looked like his hunger got the better of him. Without another moment to lose, he just got a plate and off he went to eat!

"Then that means you should eat something too! And especially when you're hungry!"

"Okay, okay, just one more thing." He pops into the kitchen and comes back with a dish of green beans. That should be the last of it. Now he can actually start loading up his own plate.

"The salad is inspired by Leia's homeworld, and the sausages are similar to what we eat on mine."

The moment Takeru heard her name, the boy immediately went silent. While he didn't mean to, he just looked back at the plate of green beans and then back at Han. His expression was blank but it was clear that he was thinking about her.

Without another word though, he quickly went over to said dish and grabbing a whole bunch of it! "Then it sounds like I should eat a lot more of it shouldn't I?"

Hey, if it gets a kid keen to eat vegetables, that works for him. Such things are always to be treasured. "They liked light, delicate flavours on Alderaan. It's pretty different from Corellian food." Of course, now everyone had to improvise to get food like Alderaan. So it was easier for him to figure out.

Good thing the only vegetable Takeru refuses to eat are green bell peppers. Those things were gross! "So you mean kind of like cake and stuff? Because if it's suppose to be light then cakes seem like it would be perfect!"

Close enough, Takeru! Close enough!

"I'll have to make air cake for you sometime. It's really fluffy and full of fruit." Another one where he'll have to come up with new ingredients, but he was getting pretty good at that by now.

"Air cake?" He said before giving him a curious look. "You mean like it's has so much air that it can probably fly?"

Although, it would be pretty cool to see a cake fly!

Han laughs at that mental image. "Not quite. But maybe float off if you're on a low gravity planet." It could happen.

[cresthopes]

"Then have you ever been to a low gravity planet before? Maybe if you go back home, you should try and do that with a cake!"

Because priorities! Takeru clearly has them!

[notsosolo]

The best priorities, obviously. "I've been to low grav planets before... never thought about testing cake on them though." Because coming up with that takes child logic. Of course, he loves child logic.

"Or maybe we can try and see if we can make other things float too! Like uh...how about we make a table fly? Can we do that too?"

Because child logic is the best kind of logic indeed.
