[ it's dark. but not too dark, thankfully. humans would probably be struggling here, lop imagines, but there's just enough light that he can see pretty well if he squints and focuses. so lop cautiously makes his way across the unfamiliar walkway, hand against the railing. (and he tries desperately not to think about the fact that, once against, he has no idea where he is.) he's pretty grateful he's at least fully dressed -- it turns out having trouble sleeping and going for long walks in the park at the dead of night comes in handy sometimes -- but he can imagine not everyone's been so lucky.
