What: Rise's getting back out in the colony and dragging people along for the ride with her daily routine.

[Even if by Cerealia standards it's her birthday, Rise doesn't think anything of it. Things are different here and she has a long day ahead of her. But at least it's nice to be on some kind of schedule again and get back to the way things were.]

A.) Catch a glimpse of the hollow world;

[The morning starts early for Rise Kujikawa with a bright and early call for a photoshoot. She never realized that a "sunglasses model" could be a real job but here she is bright and early when the sun is just perfect to capture the product without the glare effect. Did you happen to stumble onto the scene of this shoot? You might find Rise perusing a table of glasses that she's meant to put on her face and she'll turn with a small grin on her face.]

Which one do you think I should start with first?

[Alternatively, later in the shoot she's put on a pair that's a liiiiittle too dark and it makes it hard to see. Sorry if she happens to bump into you on her way to put them back.]

Sorry! Geez, these are way too effective…

B.) Turning misery into meaningfulness;

[Later in the day she's in front of a storefront in the shopping district with a plate of tofu samples. This feels a little more like home, weirdly enough, and even if she's dressed down in a work smock she seems oddly relaxed. She won't hesitate to stop anybody who wanders by, maybe even tapping the shoulder of the person if it's someone she knows (hell, maybe even the people she doesn't know.)]

Free sample? It's fresh…they're trying a new recipe in there. [She has opinions on said-tofu, but collecting information and backing said-opinions is never a bad thing.]

C.) Gaze in fascination so hard;

[Regardless, even if she has a busy busy day she's going to take time for herself even if it kills her. That's what this is about, isn't it? Relaxing, getting back to a normal life after the trauma that came from that weird, dark area. After her shift at the tofu shop she'll even text a few friends.]

Weather's great! Wanna come up?

[Friends who text back will get an answer, but for anybody who…happens…to be prone to being on rooftops they'll find that Rise's dragged a couple of chairs up to the roof of her apartment building, an umbrella tilted just enough for the slightest amount of shade and sprawled out in one of the lounge chairs dressed in a bikini with yet another pair of sunglasses on.]

It's perfect, isn't it?

D.) You know the stake in high stardom is near;

[And so the sun sets. The day goes on, and there's one more shift to take care of in her day before she's satisfied. Anyone in the Entertainment District may find that several colonists are heading for one particular karaoke bar. Entering the bar, you'll find that Rise is at the mic and it's here she's in her most natural environment as she continues her performance. When she finishes the song and the applause dies, she peers around before her eyes land on you, a playful smirk on her face as she speaks into the mic.]

I think it's your turn to sing a song for us! What do you say?

[Looks like the crowd agrees.]

[Or maybe you find yourself at the bar later and she finishes another song. No matter who it is, she'll slide into the seat next to you and she doesn't even appear winded as she speaks up.]

Who knew aliens liked music so much?

E.) Looking so different glaring street light;

[Or you can wildcard her! She can be found anywhere in the above locations, wandering the colony, or maybe you're a friend who happens to bump into her. Bring it on.]

[Takeru's pouting is enough to make her pout slightly as she notices the glasses continually falling. She frowns, not at all pleased with how this is working out.]

Ooh, you're right...I bet we could tie them so they stick better. We just have to find a lanyard or something.

[And here, Takeru will just keep on pulling it back up no matter what! At this point, he might as well just pushed the center of his glasses with one of his fingers!]

Or maybe we can ask one of the people here if they have any string! It would look pretty silly if I had my hands up the entire time!

It'd make for a great photo though. [She's teasing him, of course, but she's looking for one of the set dressers to flag them down.] Stay right here, okay? I'll be right back.

[She quickly walks away, immediately making a beeline for one of the people on set and speaking to them with lots of rapid gestures and chatter. It isn't long before she comes back with a piece of cloth almost the same color as the glasses and she crouches in front of Takeru again to show him.]

This should work! And it won't be as hard to unknot later like string. Ready to try it?

[The more that he struggled to get it back on, the more he just giggled a little to himself] Yeah, I guess so!

[But while she continued to look for something, Takeru just kept on pouting. As he tilted his head to make sure it stayed! Even when he pushed his head all the way back so those glasses could stay, it didn't!

So when Rise finally came back? He looked slightly more annoyed than usual]

I really hope so, I don't think these glasses like me at all! [He said before one side just flopped downward]

It's the pain of fashion, Takeru-kun. It gets easier with practice, I promise! [When she's speaking to him though she's already tying the cloth to the ends of the glasses arms, making sure to firmly knot it behind his head so the glasses stay on but not tight enough to hurt him or make them difficult to remove. She draws her hand away, smiling at her handiwork.]

Try that out. How's it feel?

[The moment that she was done, Takeru started moving around his glasses a little. After a few seconds, he gave her a bright smile!]

It feels a lot better! I don't think I have to worry about it falling out of my face anymore!

[He said before giving a giggle] I think I look as cool as Oniichan!

You look great! [She's very pleased with this and she offers him her hand.] We should definitely get some pictures for memories. What do you say?

Yeah, I would love that! I never been to one of those things before!

[He said before pointing to said cameras]

It must be really nice when there are so many cameras in front of you!

Sometimes it's great. [She's leading him toward the photographers then.] Especially when you're working with a really good artist who knows what they're doing and lets you have a little fun on the set. I guess I've gotten so used to the cameras it doesn't even seem to be a big deal anymore.

[The photographer seems to be done arguing with the set dresser and even claps his hands upon Rise's return. Eyes swivel to land on Takeru, examining him for a moment.]

You ready? When the cameras start going, you've gotta strike a pose.

[Takeru gotta admit. The moment that he stepped on the set, he froze. What was he suppose to do? In fact, what was he suppose to say?

Or what was the right thing to do in front of the camera?]

Uh...uh....

[With that, he looked straight back at Rise thinking like she knew what to do! Because he sure doesn't! He just kept standing there like a deer with headlights on!]/small>

[Oh no, poor thing. She gives him another soft smile before she strikes a pose, looking back at him again.]

Try something like this. Think you can do that?

[When Takeru looked back at Rise, he did was he was told! He just mimicked what she did and hoped for the best!]

You mean like this?

[Even if he was getting a little self conscious from how silly he was doing the pose! But hey, at least it managed to get a smile out of him!]

[There's a click from a camera nearby.]

Perfect! Just follow my lead and I'll show you how it's done, okay? [Hopefully Takeru can keep up, because Rise immediately springs into action and begins striking a variety of poses, every now and then checking to make sure he was comfortable keeping up with her.]

[The more that Takeru kept doing random poses, the more he started giggling! He wasn't sure what he was doing but whatever it was? He was sure having a lot of fun!]

This certainly looks a lot like something Mimi-san would do! If she were here, I bet she would have a blast at this too!

[She's a natural and it's for that reason that the camera goes off continually for the two kids and she can turn to him suddenly.]

Is Mimi another friend of yours from home? [Just how many of these kids were on that digital adventure?]

[As he continually tried to pose, it was difficult when all he could think about was his friends. For a moment, he didn't say anything but he eventually gave a nod]

Mhmm, she Is! She's one of my friends that went to the Digital World with me too! And whenever she was around, it made a lot of things fun!

[But just thinking about her was making his smile flatter a bit]

[Aw Takeru...she notices the shift in expression and so she signals to the camera crew for them to get their last shots and start to wrap up. She approaches him, crouching so she can look at him in the face.]

Maybe she'll come someday. Your friend Hikari did, didn't she? It's just a matter of time. Until then...maybe we should do something really fun so you can tell her all about it when she does come. What do you say?

[With her at his eye level, Takeru manages to give Rise a small smile. Despite it looking forced, he didn't want her to feel sad either]

Yeah, we can do that! I want us to have a lot of fun so Mimi-san will be really jealous! [And yet...!]

But what about your photoshoot? Should we finish that?

Then that's what we'll do, and when she comes we'll even invite her to come with us. [She has to try to keep his morale up. Nobody asked these kids if they wanted to be dragged into this mess. The least she can do is try to make things a little better. She looks back at the camera crew and shakes her head.]

They have enough shots for what they need and they know where to find me if they need more. I think we can call it quits for the day.

Are you sure? Because we can continue it! It seemed like we were having a lot of fun anyway!

[While he felt bad for cutting everything so quickly, another part of him wanted to be selfish. It wasn't wrong that he wanted to be the 7 year old that he was, right?]

It's okay, Takeru. I promise. Let me put all of this away and we'll go.

[As promised, Rise's quick to wrap everything up and hand off the sunglasses, arranging her next gig with the photographer and cheerfully waving goodbye before she approaches the young boy again.] We have plenty of time to have fun in this place, but there's this place that changes ice cream flavors every day. Come on.

[And off they go. She'll do her best to try and cheer him up at least. He deserves that much.]
