Where: Lots of locations, CYA, etc etc.
What: Rise's getting back out in the colony and dragging people along for the ride with her daily routine.
Rating/Warning: Probably not yet.

[Even if by Cerealia standards it's her birthday, Rise doesn't think anything of it. Things are different here and she has a long day ahead of her. But at least it's nice to be on some kind of schedule again and get back to the way things were.]

A.) Catch a glimpse of the hollow world;

[The morning starts early for Rise Kujikawa with a bright and early call for a photoshoot. She never realized that a "sunglasses model" could be a real job but here she is bright and early when the sun is just perfect to capture the product without the glare effect. Did you happen to stumble onto the scene of this shoot? You might find Rise perusing a table of glasses that she's meant to put on her face and she'll turn with a small grin on her face.]

Which one do you think I should start with first?

[Alternatively, later in the shoot she's put on a pair that's a liiiiittle too dark and it makes it hard to see. Sorry if she happens to bump into you on her way to put them back.]

Sorry! Geez, these are way too effective…

B.) Turning misery into meaningfulness;

[Later in the day she's in front of a storefront in the shopping district with a plate of tofu samples. This feels a little more like home, weirdly enough, and even if she's dressed down in a work smock she seems oddly relaxed. She won't hesitate to stop anybody who wanders by, maybe even tapping the shoulder of the person if it's someone she knows (hell, maybe even the people she doesn't know.)]

Free sample? It's fresh…they're trying a new recipe in there. [She has opinions on said-tofu, but collecting information and backing said-opinions is never a bad thing.]

C.) Gaze in fascination so hard;

[Regardless, even if she has a busy busy day she's going to take time for herself even if it kills her. That's what this is about, isn't it? Relaxing, getting back to a normal life after the trauma that came from that weird, dark area. After her shift at the tofu shop she'll even text a few friends.]

Weather's great! Wanna come up?

[Friends who text back will get an answer, but for anybody who…happens…to be prone to being on rooftops they'll find that Rise's dragged a couple of chairs up to the roof of her apartment building, an umbrella tilted just enough for the slightest amount of shade and sprawled out in one of the lounge chairs dressed in a bikini with yet another pair of sunglasses on.]

It's perfect, isn't it?

D.) You know the stake in high stardom is near;

[And so the sun sets. The day goes on, and there's one more shift to take care of in her day before she's satisfied. Anyone in the Entertainment District may find that several colonists are heading for one particular karaoke bar. Entering the bar, you'll find that Rise is at the mic and it's here she's in her most natural environment as she continues her performance. When she finishes the song and the applause dies, she peers around before her eyes land on you, a playful smirk on her face as she speaks into the mic.]

I think it's your turn to sing a song for us! What do you say?

[Looks like the crowd agrees.]

[Or maybe you find yourself at the bar later and she finishes another song. No matter who it is, she'll slide into the seat next to you and she doesn't even appear winded as she speaks up.]

Who knew aliens liked music so much?

E.) Looking so different glaring street light;

[Or you can wildcard her! She can be found anywhere in the above locations, wandering the colony, or maybe you're a friend who happens to bump into her. Bring it on.]

Well you're not busy and rushing to keep appointments right now, are you? [It never actually occurred to her before now.] I didn't think a lot of people had schedules to keep in this place.

Not right now.

[He glances at his watch quickly, but seems to not care about what time it is.]

And, you'd be surprised at how much people can put into their schedules. [Like his, although today was a day off.]

In a place like this I guess it's better to keep busy than to sit and think about everything that happens around here. [It's what she's been doing, anyway.] Do the aliens really get mad if you don't keep up with your appointments?

[Edgeworth pauses.]

I imagine they simply want to keep their jobs and earn what they need to live on. Regardless of whether their superiors are aliens or not.

[He shrugs.]

It really is all about routine here. [She smiles faintly.] Even though this is a whole other world I'm still making schedules and rotating hours between all of my jobs like it's no big deal. I'm used to it. It's not really something you think about with other people.

But that's where the tofu comes in. [She spins the tray.] What do you say? Wanna take some with you for your next appointment?

[She's right, of course.

When she spins her tray, that gives him pause. He's not sure what England's thoughts on tofu are, but the samples were good enough that he'd like to take some with him for a little change in what he eats.]

Perhaps not for an appointment, but for myself. How much is the smallest pack of tofu?

How many people are you planning on sharing it with? That's the real question here.

Just one other, my roommate.

...If he would want any. [Well, the tofu was good enough for Edgeworth to hoard it all for himself if England passed.]

I think I know just the thing. A good size and something that won't go bad right away just in case you're the only one eating it. Come with me. [And she turns to head into the shop. Come along, Edgeworth.]

Thank you very much.

[Edgeworth follows her, groceries in tow. It's not that big a bag so he doesn't have a hard time lugging it around.]

Sure! You're actually doing me a favor, too. You just have to come back and tell me how you like it. [Into the shop they go and she flutters off to begin packing up a small box of tofu for him.]

I'm Rise, by the way.

Very well.

[Seems like a good deal. He watches her pack up the tofu.]

I'm Miles Edgeworth. It's a pleasure to meet you [again], Rise.

Likewise, Edgeworth-san. [Boxboxbox...] How long have you been in Cerealia? A while?

Around eight months, I believe.

I think you've been here the longest out of most of the people I've talked to. I know Yuri's been here for a while, and I think Yang has been, too, but most people I've talked to haven't been here too much longer than me. [Leon Kuwata's been here for some time, too. It's still something that startles her.]

Does that bother you?

Actually, Yang and I arrived at the same time.

[He pauses, stroking his chin.]

At this point, I've accepted that I may be here for a while, whether I like it or not. [Prior jamjar experience also helps.]

I don't think I can even imagine being here that long. There are other people from your world here aren't there? Just to make things a little easier.

[She's almost done, Edgeworth, really. She's just sealing up the box now.]

There are several of us.

[Edgeworth nods, showing no sign of impatience.]

But among them, I have been here the longest.

Yu-senpai's been here longer than me, too. Some of our other friends have been here before but they're gone now. He and Yosuke-senpai were here a few months before I came but it was nice to know they were here. I bet that's how people feel about you too when they arrive.

[She presents him with the box, neatly wrapped up and in a plastic bag.] Anyway, this should be enough.

[He extends his hands and takes the box with a nod.]

Thank you, Rise. You were talking about Yu Narukami?

Yeah. Do you know him? [She's suddenly more interested in that than the tofu Edgeworth takes from her.] It wasn't that surprising to hear how many people already met him when I first got here.

We...met in the jungle.

[Yyyyyeah.]

The first time or the second time? [No offense Edgeworth but you don't seem like the explorer type...]

The first time.

[He's not, but he does have an interest in finding out whatever he can about this place.]

Tell me the truth about that place. Is it really as dangerous as people say it is?
