Prompt A: ViViD – ota

[ So anyone who knows Shigeru will see him within ViViD one day throughout the week. He’s been avoiding that place like the plague thanks to his less than stellar arrival in the garbage dump, but he could use some extra cash. Why are cleaning supplies so expensive?! So he really needs the extra money right now.

This also helps keep his sword skills up to par so he can’t complain really. He’s practicing his sword fighting against some outrageous creatures. He doesn’t look like he needs much help, until a group of them surrounds him and he’s looking for a way to escape, ah. Maybe he should have started on the lower levels…

In any case he might need a hand or two as he battles his way through the burning forest level on this particular map. Care to help a guy out or will you let him perish?! ]

Prompt B: CyBuddy Shop – ota

[ Cybuddy shopping is always a good way to pass the time and after everything he’s been through maybe a pet isn’t such a bad idea?! A text will go up to the network that day as Shigeru stands and contemplates outside the store itself. ]

What sort of cybuddies does everyone have here? Which one should a person whose never had a pet before try?

[ He knows they’re not real but he wants to take care of them just as he would a real pet…except he’s never had the joy of having a pet before due to…circumstances. ]

Prompt C: Food talk - ota

[ A text will go out to everyone on the network that day. ]

I’ve had a lot of different foods from Earth back in the other place I was kept before arriving here. So I was wondering what other foods exist on Earth? Are there really spicy things? Because I like that sort of food a lot. But I don’t mind other types either. Or how about foods from different worlds? I want to try and experience them all, maybe even cook some of them if people know the recipes. What’s your favorite food from your world? You can list multiple if you want!

Prompt D: Residential District - closed to carcinoma

[ After Merlin and Shigeru's little talk a few weeks ago Shigeru is definitely heading over towards Lop's apartment finally. With a whole boatload of food ready to be served and eaten he hopes the other doesn't mind fresh stir fryed vegetables with tofu. He wasn't sure what to make without meant, but this was something that he read lots of people on Earth consumed who were vegetarian.

He hopes it's decent enough, ah. Anyway there's a soft knock on Lop's apartment door towards the early evening. ]

[ If none of the prompts are appealing make your own! Shigeru is normally helping teach art at the highschool (sometimes it’s fingerpainting?!) or he’ll be drawing in the gardens or he’s at the hospital helping out there as well. ]

Depends on what kind of animals you like and what you look for in a pet, I reckon.

If you're looking to get one I happen to have a few that could use a good home. Cats, dogs... penguins. You name it, we probably have at least one hangin' around.

I like birds...and dogs and cats look pretty cute too. But I'm not sure which one I would pick. [ Probably all of them because this is Shigeru. ]

What's a penguin? We don't have those where I come from... [ He is totally serious about that btw. ]

It's a type of bird. Family Spheniscidae. They are flightless, and most species prefer to live in cold oceans. You know, where glaciers live. Hang on.

I was taken from my home to a place like this. Everyone was from some other planet or timeline. It was a highschool called Inugami, and we couldn't leave no matter what we tried.

[ It doesn't sound bad...until you know the details. ]

So you were kidnapped from being held captive elsewhere. What luck you have. [ sarcasm, clearly, even if that might be lost through text. ] And here I thought arriving in a place like this was a once-in-a-lifetime anomaly; not so much, it seems.

You wouldn't say this Inugami and Cerealia are connected in any way, though? Beyond those similarities you mentioned.

[Angelo was taking another one of his morning walks in the gardens when he spots Shigeru who seemed to be drawing there. He even comes up from the behind the other to see what he's doing.]

So what are you drawing?

[ Angelo you can't just sneak up on him like that?! Shigeru literally jumps when the other comes up from behind him. He fumbles to keep his pencil and other drawing tools from falling to floor as he turns back to look at Angelo, a sheepish smile on his face all the while. He doesn't actually speak his reply but instead takes out his device to type something for the other to read. ]

The garden! And other things. But mostly I've been drawing the garden.

[Angelo squints at Shigeru and him typing on the CEREvice. Did this guy not talk or couldn't? How curious indeed.]

I see. I also see you're either too lazy to talk or you're a mute.

I've never seen a fox until I came here. They're apparently really rare in my world, so maybe them being lucky is true!

[ inside his apartment, lop's already been absent-mindedly listening to those footsteps echo down the hallway, but he looks over, startled, when he hears a knock on the door. a visitor. he doesn't get many visitors. ]

Um, just a moment!

[ it just takes him a few seconds to slip on his usual cardigan and unlock the door. he only opens the door a crack at first, peeking out cautiously before he recognizes who's there. ]

Ah, Mr. Miyata! [ he pushes the door open all the way before offering a sheepish smile. ] Good evening!

[ Shigeru is just all smiles as he waits for the other to answer the door. He's also nervous?! But that is a small detail. ]

Good evening! [ Don't mind him as he stands there awkwardly with a bag in hand. A moment of silence passes before he types something up on his device again. ]

Oh! I brought this for you! [ He holds out said bag. ]

As a thank you for...that time with the mirrors.

Oranges? Oh. They're those sweet things right? I like those a lot. Do people usually cook anything with them though?

E! - with art class

[ Apparently Yoichi is young enough to be a student. So he's curious to see what's offered and he's just wandering around the school premises. While sports is the main subject Yoichi will like, he's also decent at the arts, and the class catches his interest as he pokes his head in, curious.

There is now a punk-looking kid peering in from the door. ]

[ Yoichi don't be shy. Embrace your inner artist and DRAW. But, no, Shigeru is mute so how exactly he teaches a class is a bit unknown, but he's actually getting the hang of it by writing when he needs to. For the most part it's a quiet class and everyone looks pretty deep into their own work. It's only then when he spots that peering from the doorway.

He'll get up with a curious glance and write something out to the other. ]

Get a cat! They're the best. Cute and small and warm when you want to take a nap. ♥ That's the first and only one I got and Cupcake has been great.

I'm not so sure I want something too...cuddly just yet.

[ Could he handle all that closeness is the problem, ugh. ]

I'm...not very good at close contact and things like that.

[ They didn't actually set off out together, in fact, it'd be more accurate to say Merlin was travelling from one work place to the other, stuffing his face in the meantime. It's because it's Shigeru he spots that he lets his path diverge though, instead stepping over to say hi. They see each other every day anyway, but it's always good to see him--and his curiosity got the best of him. ]

Oh! Hello Merlin. I was just looking at the cybuddies. They're really cute aren't they?

[ Sorry he's never heard of like anything before. Even back home he's lived a pretty sheltered life most for most of his childhood. But at least he's gotten better in those regards. ]

I've never heard of that before. Is it another animal from Earth, or somewhere else?
