What: Two idiots with a thing for flirting and violence start a fight club. Because it's always the nice ones.
Rating/Warning: Upgraded yet again to P for PERFECTLY PURE (warning for handsy teenagers, blood, action, and 100% sexual tension. )

[ There's something about being held at gunpoint that gets her blood pumping and cheeks flushing like nothing else. It's freezing but she's barefoot, of course, because beneath her is a beach with black sand that feels more like hot water. Her senses are heightened and every sensation is sharp. Even when she's about to die, Rapunzel feels alive with him.

They're in Iceland, by the way. The arena is in Iceland. Just in case you were thinking it might be Iceland, you were right: it's Iceland. Yes. That's right. It's like that snow level in Inception only it's a glacier in the middle of the Atlantic in Iceland. Because apparently Iceland is pretty cool.

Anyway. She's relatively familiar with firearms by this point, though she still knows next to nothing about how to shoot most kinds. All she knows is that the gun in her face right now is, frankly, a lot like its owner: crazy, impractical, good-looking, and probably deadly despite being so pathetic.

Put it down, Arc. [ Rapunzel presses the blade of her spear against her teammate's throat, firm, but not so firm as to draw blood yet. ] Remember that thing I said when we met? About how I promised to never hit you?

[ She smiles and takes a step closer. ]

Please don't make me break my promise on the first level, Jaune. [ Time to draw blood? She never promised anything about blood so... maybe! ] Put the gun down.

Now that she knows this is already going completely wrong, Rapunzel skids to a stop and chucks the ammunition from her back before hastily dropping to her knees and setting the charges right there in the middle of the beach. ]

Hey, the Nutella is in my pants pocket... [ Boop boop setting explosives. Boop boop avoiding bullets!

[ Since she didn't specify which pocket exactly, Jaune is awkwardly patting all of her pants pockets, trying to get a feel which one contains the Nutella. There may be some accidental thigh touching, too?? Definitely. ]

[ AHA! He finds it! And... he opens the jar for some reason. ]

It is a shame we gotta lose it, though.

[ Any lingering humiliation on her part dissolves into the sweet, nutty air as Jaune opens the jar and scent seeps out. She's hardly been playing an hour and already it feels like at least two days; she's hungrier than she thought... ]

[ Yeah, that's optimistic. Especially when you consider that "on the ground somewhere" is right at the centre of a ring of explosives. ]

[ Well, if they gotta lose the Nutella, he might as well dip a finger into it, offering her to do the same. She may dip into the jar or eat it from his finger, though. It's like a TellTale game choice! ]

[ Her gaze rises to Jaune's for the first time since she'd held him at spear-point, the smile finally fading.

And why choose one of two things when you can combine them for an even better third option? (This-or-that style gameplay will not be her forte; never enough options!) She joins in the gross dipping, looks up for a beat after it's done, then, silent, raises a small, steady hand to his lips.

Moving forward, her own mouth presses against the edge of his fingers, though she will mercifully hold back on the tongue FOR NOW. ]

[ Of course she goes for the grossest of the gross options??? Jaune drops the jar on the ground, which is a good place as any to set it up as he gets lost in White Gold World for a moment. ]

MY HEAD!!!! I'm bleeding, Rapunzel!!!!!! --wait. [ Let him check first-- ] N-No, just a bruise actually-- BUT OWWW! UGHHHH!!!!! That hurts...! Ow man, I never wanna be shot again...

[ Rapunzel is not a woman of overt dramatic gestures or unnecessary wailing; everything she does, however enthusiastic, has purpose.

That's why, when she sees her teammate and best friend and.... soul... something fall to the ground, she reaches out and gasps once. His name is quiet on her breath because there's nothing more she can do for him like this.

Even though, of course, she'd cut off all her hair for him an instant. ]

[ That very particular set of skills words - "Can I really do it?" - is what inspires Rapunzel to toss him the detonator. It's an utterly reckless move on her part because they're both running and adrenaline is making her own hands shake.

But she throws it despite knowing that should Jaune fail to catch the device or catches it wrong, they, the glitter, the Nutella, and all their other crap will instantly go up in flames. She throws it because he makes her crazy in the worst way and she wants to know what he'll do with the bomb in his court, so to speak. Wants to know if she drives him just as mad. ]

[ And guess what? The shooter does stop to inspect the Nutella. Jaune panics for a moment when he realizes he forgot to close the lid on the jar before he got shot in the head. That's so unsanitary?? Wait, that's not the point here. They are literally going to blow up this jar along with the person who's interested in having some. And you know what? Maybe they deserve it. The guy shot Jaune in the head!!

And Rapunzel?! He shot Rapunzel! Nobody shoots Jaune Arc's girlfriend before volume 3 and gets away with it. Or friend. Jaune still isn't sure what they are right now, but that letter sure makes him believe in destiny. In fact, he looks beside him, for no reason other than he wants to look at Rapunzel again, because he can't help himself. Because she drives him mad. Where the hell did she even get C4 from?

[ Nutella really does rain down around them in the ensuing explosion - that much is the truth. Rapunzel is frozen in place, awed and also feeling a little gross because there really wasn't that much spread in the jar, but it seems to have liquified or something. She shakes her head. The ridiculous picture in front of her doesn't change. ]

Jaune...

[ Well, if what she wanted was to know how well he performs under pressure, which it wasn't, the answer is clear. Rapunzel's lips crack upwards in another smile at last, laughter trickling out in weak fits like water through cobblestone. ]

Actually, I don't think they have much of a choice, Jaune. We're not going to be the ones eating it, that's for sure.

[ And they still have to get up the damn mountain!!! ]

[ Suddenly her vision goes rosy and she sees him the way she'd seen him that day in school when he'd completely surprised her, grabbing her by the wrist and leading them on a crazy chase across the school. Her eyes go lidded and the smile on her face once again softens to something less clear.
