(If Will had been glowing before, that goes out like a light and leaves him rather pale and dull in comparison. There's a bit of an acidic taste in the back of his mouth and his stomach rolls uncomfortably. He's actually just about to pull away entirely from Nico and end the dance when Nico keeps on talking. The words were rattling though. It made Will feel uncomfortable and more with himself than with Nico. Really, Nico had every right to say something like that.

His eyes cut away from Nico entirely and part of him wants to pull away still. It didn't feel so great dancing with Nico anymore and this really, really wasn't how he had pictured their first dance going. His hand shifts around to settle a bit more appropriately on Nico's hip and he clears his throat, feeling a bit of a lump there.)
