[ you spy with your little eye someone who isn't being quite as stealthy as they think they are. a tall, dark figure (maybe handsome?? we just don't know), loitering in alleyways, behind buildings, up on rooftops... it's hecka creepy. if you approach fast enough, zero doesn't run away!

and sometimes, they even initiate conversation., with things like, ] Wanna go kill stuff?

[ zero takes the ice cream, but shows no sign of going to eat it. ]

Are you? —wondering if you're a god. [ to clarify, because zero doesn't believe in gods. people who act like gods, maybe. ]

Hey, don't you go turning my hilarious inside jokes back around at me.

And it's goddess. Viridi -- Goddess of Nature and all living things. I'm thinking you... probably don't fall under my domain. What are you, some kind of android?

[a slight pause]

Do androids eat ice cream? If not, give me that back.

[ goddess, sure. zero turns the ice cream in their hand, looking at another angle of it, but still not going for it.

they end up handing it back over. they're not going to eat it, so she might as well have it back.

as for being an android or not, zero just doesn't say anything. they just settle down, quiet. ]

[Viridi begins to alternate licks from both cones.]

So... What? Are you just going to stare at me now? Is that the other option besides killing stuff?

[ zero doesn't reply for a moment. they could talk, sure, but conversation isn't always their thing.

on the other hand, they are interested in what kind of powers a divine being has. ]

I've witnessed one skill—materialization—what else can you do?

Oooh, awed by my radiant divinity. That's alright. You can keep staring, then.

[Viridi draws herself up to her full (extremely diminutive) height and preens.]

There's really too many to list. Buuut if you really want. I guess I can give you a sampling.

[And she begins to count off on her fingers while simultaneously using each power she states.]

Astral projection, telepathy, size change, manipulation of earth, manipulation of flora, manifestation of flora, the power of flight, levitation, extra-dimensional portal creation, teleportation, and of course, my perfectly smooth and radiant skin.

[For a moment, she glows.]

And, you know. I breathed life into the living, so. There's probably a few more I missed - do you care about constructing grind rails? - but those are the most important bits.

[ wow. quite an array. and powerful, so of course zero's interested; they lean forward toward her. ]

And you can kill with them creatively, I bet. What is a grind rail?

My Reset Bombs were a thing of beauty. An explosive the size of a nuclear bomb that mutagenized everything within its blast radius into plant life! Have you ever heard anything so amazing?

And grind rails are... let's just call it mobile parkour.

[ look, zero's favorite thing is murder. ]

No blood? [ this, however, disappoints them a little. parkour's neat, too, but they're not into it enough to be excited about the mobile version.]

Blood is so... messy.

[Viridi sounds faintly disapproving as she shakes her head.]

I suppose the loyal soldiers of my army create enough blood when they go on the offensive, but personally, I prefer to keep my clothes clean.

[ fair enough. even though zero's one who likes blood. they turn their head slowly to look out over the city. for the next while they're quiet, just observing and listening. ]

Seriously, though, what's with the fixation on murder? Aren't killer robots a little overdone nowadays?

[ zero turns towards her very slightly, like they're cocking their head to listen. ]
