[ you spy with your little eye someone who isn't being quite as stealthy as they think they are. a tall, dark figure (maybe handsome?? we just don't know), loitering in alleyways, behind buildings, up on rooftops... it's hecka creepy. if you approach fast enough, zero doesn't run away!

and sometimes, they even initiate conversation., with things like, ] Wanna go kill stuff?

[ ...yep. ]

[ Shihoudou weaves her fingers together behind her head, casually strolling after him. ]

So did you have anything particular in mind or are we going for random?

[faceplate]

[ there's a mob of enemies in the game that zero hasn't gotten a chance to go in on, so they gesture at it. how's this? ]

[makigumo]

[ Rolling from the balls of her feet to her toes, she leans around Zero and has a look. ]

Seems good to me!

[faceplate]

[ zero nods once, acknowledging, then starts towards it. the mob isn't that high-level, but it's large, and zero gets started with a melee blade. they begin cutting through the mob in swathes, literally disappearing and reappearing from time to time—though only from eyesight; they're still very much there in body. ]

You don't talk much huh.

[ Completely ignoring that the setting isn't meant for deep and engaged conversation.

But since she can practically dance through the crowds while cutting down mob members with her own blade and use them as steps to jump to the other side of it and things like that, she doesn't see it as a problem. ]

[ no, zero doesn't talk much. they focus on the fight, mostly, going along with her flow to make sure they don't run into each other. only after most of the horde is gone do they speak again. ]

What is there to say?

[ She keeps with her random moves that also kills prey. It is fun to fight and kill things. ]

[ for a second zero just looks at her, their head cocked, and flash a WTF before going back to the fight. ]

[makigumo]

Like!

[ It's super easy to fight even while talking. ]

Don't you think it'd be fun to switch the monkey heads for peaches in the orchard in that garden game!

[faceplate]

[ that's something zero's unfamiliar with. a garden game? they've really never heard of it. they project a question mark, just as they spin and slam the hilt of their sword into the head of an opponent. ]

[makigumo]

[ She knocks down a whole group in one hit, ] STRIKE! [ and jumps onto the pile of bodies. ]

What, you never tried it?

[faceplate]

[ no, zero doesn't think so. they shake their head, trusting her to catch the movement before hopping on one of the bodies she just felled to jump again and kick one of the enemies right in the face.

this is somewhat more fun than they'd expected. a pleasant surprise. ]
