[ He's seen this before and he knows exactly what it means: Yona's been brought back to the Nexus code.
The house is empty, remnants of her time in Cerealia scattered throughout the house. Her clothes, the dishes that weren't touched from the other night, some of her belongings, and her scent--god, her scent still lingers, and he's unemployed and he's got nothing to distract him from the pain. He'll probably hit the bar later--most certainly, in fact--but the only thing he wants to do right now is fight.
Not anyone in particular. He just...wants to get moving, wants to swing his staff around and beat shit up. He's not going to hurt anyone unnecessarily but he has to do something. With only a couple of credits to his name, he's not up for a dojo or anything that requires payment. He's going to have to do this alone. This brings him to the gymnasium, where he usually goes for training and workouts (the equipment here is too good), and he's thinking of doing some strength training.
But it's not enough. He needs to spar.
There are a few people he'd offered training to, but one of the first who pops up on his contact list is Adrien Agreste. Hm. Kid's kind of fragile-looking...maybe now would be a good time to give him some lessons. Toughen him up a bit.
Hak contemplates, and then sends him a text message: ]
I'm free today if you wanted lessons. At the gymnasium

he's also not completely on his game, so when the text comes he really does kind of jump. a little. but when he sees the content adrien relaxes somewhat. well, as relaxed as he can get with the thought that he's going to come out of this more than a little sore and maybe kinda bruised.
hak doesn't seem at all like the "easy lesson" type. he's the "bursts through a wall of a bouncy castle" kind of lesson type.
oh well. distractions are good! ]
Sounds great, thanks. I'll be there in a bit.
[ ... ]
... Should I bring anything?

A weapon if you want me to teach you that. Maybe some bandages.
[ NOT INTIMIDATING AT ALL....but you'll learn soon young grasshopper ]

[ YEAH. but he means that as more of a lighthearted tease than an actual statement of fear. he's used to the Rough Love, or getting bruises and sores, so. that's fine.
he gets up to collect the items hak's outlined, but not before sending a response following the one he just sent: ]
Weapon, bandages. Got it.
Thanks again for doing this Hak. Give me half an hour or so.
[ prayer circle for hak and adrien agreste. ]

[ That's all he's gonna get. What's texting etiquette.....he has no idea
Anyway he's just gonna be waiting right in the same spot, mulling over Yona's disappearance again, looking through all of his personal notes on Cerealia...
Hak needs that prayer circle. Maybe he'll do something stupid again.
Don't get dragged into his antics, Adrien.
iT MAY BE TOO LATE]no subject
things adrien doesn't mind: the short as heck ending to their text exchange (if it could even be called an ending but you know something is better than nothing) and keeping a staff he never uses around, just in case a lesson moment like this ever came up. or if he ever needed it.
don't ask.
... so, yeah, good ideas. showing up as hak requested (half an hour later as said, too) with bandages, that weapon, some water, and less nerves than he probably should have.
with a wave: ]
Sorry for making you wait!
[ now it's definitely too late. ]
SORRY FOR LATE
Hak's literally only got his weapon on him (who needs a first aid kid when you're the Thunder Beast, right), no water or anything like that!! What a moron. It's alright though, because he's a ~warrior~.
When Adrien shows up, he waves at him nonchalantly. Hard to tell at a first glance, but he's unusually moody today and filled with less dryness and sarcasm than usual. ]
There's a training center inside. We'll go there.
[ Yep, blunt as always. That much hasn't changed......but he'll just lead the way into the gym, turning a few corners before they reach the training room. It's empty today (thankfully), and he doesn't waste any time in taking off his boots and stepping onto one of the training mats with his spear. ]
So. What did you bring?
