Where: Residential district; Giorno’s apartment.
What: Basically boy dumps robot from balcony onto the streets below for science.

[ After everything that had happened with the back-to-back ViViDs and what he had learned about this place and its patterns, Giorno was ready to see what CERES was going to throw at them. The timeline fit and even though it had been pretty quiet, he wasn’t going to drop his guard as far as expecting things to go wrong were concerned. And just as he was exiting the door to leave for school—he gets his expected "present" as it were.

Two "presents" even.

The contents look to be something ripped out of a science fiction novel—then again this whole place and his current situation reeked of such a situation—as he looked down at the inactive robots. He vaguely recalls seeing the post from a Mosely regarding these. However, the matter of "what" to do with them doesn’t take more than a few moments as Giorno empties the contents of one of the boxes onto the hallway. It...really wasn’t going to move was it? All of the robots he had seen here were already activated and freely moved on their own. (Don’t think he doesn’t notice that big red button, he does.)

What if he tipped it over the ledge? Surely it must have some sort of programming preventing it from wanting to be hurt right? Was it goin—oh.

Oh.

Well, surely there was no one standing in the path of the falling robot, right? Or surely anyone who was that unfortunate to get in the way of it would have moved out the way. Regardless, Giorno is running over to lean over the railing to warn anyone below. ]

[ Mary's lived a... fairly peaceful life here. Yep. Except for the rare occasional bout of library-induced amnesia and killer sense-stealing ghosts and floods and... okay, a lot of things have messed with her, but today? Today she's good. She hasn't activated any robots and that sure is a robot plummeting towards her what the hell.

Don't mind her scream, she'll probably move in time. ]

[ "Probably" isn't going to be good enough for Giorno, especially since he was the one responsible here and didn't want anyone to be getting hurt period. So as fast as it takes him to register screaming, he's going to be jumping over the ledge as well.

Wasting no time, Giorno uses Gold Experience to transform the sides of the building into tree branches, which are broken by the falling robot but at least do the job that he intended and knock it further away from her. As for Giorno himself, he'll land on the thicker part of the branches above her. ]

Are you alright?

[ He saved her from the falling robot, sure, but there might have been something else. ]

[ Thankfully, nothing else is plunging from above to try and kill her, and Mary could be grateful for that - no, really, she is - but... but... ]

Why is it a tree now?!

[ It's not, Mary. Those are just branches. Calm down. ]

[ Can't say her reaction isn't expected. Guess this means she couldn't see Gold Experience. ]

I transformed the wall into branches of a tree. [ He answers simply because, well, it's what he did. There's nothing more to it than that? Honestly, the best thing about all of this was that she's okay. Still yet he'll slowly make his way down to her and allow the walls of the building to return back to their previous state. ]

It's an ability I'm able to do.

[ Oh, she can. But the tree branches are kind of more important, and the first thing she saw, and Kakyoin's stand definitely couldn't do that.

Her breathing, at least, finally begins to steady itself again. ]

Yes.

[ Well, Giorno doesn't know that nor does he think to bring out Gold Experience for an explanation. He doesn't have a reason for using his Stand, after all, and even though Fugo had cautioned him about being too careless with his abilities, it was really Fugo who should be careful. ]

I have the ability to "give life" to anything that is not living that I touch. I was holding onto the railing and was touching the wall as I fell so I turned them into the tree branches you saw.

E-eh?? Isn't that kind of an incredible ability?!

[ and sort of scary, honestly. ]

I suppose it is.

[ There's no denying that—the scary part that is—or that Gold Experience's limits are literally thrown out the window if he ever canon updated. ]

But they're still somewhat new to me; I haven't had them for very long.

You weren't... born with them, then?

[ ... Huh. So he's like the rest of her group. ]

I'm not certain if I was or not, but I didn't realize I have them until a month ago.

[ Maybe he did? Maybe he didn't?? He really doesn't understand Stands. ]

... Were you scared? When you realized?

[rejuvenate]

Not particularly. [ It was kind of shocking to wake up and see that he had blond hair all of the sudden though. ]

It felt as if something great had awoken inside of me and that I was given these abilities to help me with my goal.

[immobileyes]

Your... goal? [ ... er. ]

Do you... like to plant trees?

[rejuvenate]

No, however there is nothing wrong with wanting to plant trees.

[ Trees were quite nice and are good for the environment. ]

I want to make the world a better place for everyone.

[ By being top dog of the crime world, but let's focus on the non-shady aspects of his dream first, okay? ]

[ Yes, that's probably a good idea. Let's not have Mary run off screaming just yet. ]

Oh... well, that makes sense. Although I think that'd be a lot of work.

[ Mary, please. Giorno is a good kid. ]

It is, but I won't be deterred. Everyone should live in a place where they have the freedom to do what they want.

I think so, too... it's just that it's...

[ she trails off, then shakes her head. No, it's fine. She doesn't have to talk about it. ]

Sorry but if she doesn't think there's time for this, she's clearly wrong. Giorno will make time for this. ]

That's... [ mnnngh. ] It's not so easy for everybody. Sometimes I'm not sure if it'll ever be.

If it was something easy then it wouldn't be so hard to obtain.

Yeah... I know.

[ She just wonders if it is obtainable... as much as she wants it to be. ]

[ There's some silence as Giorno wonders where to go next. Somehow the conversation feels a little heavier than he would have wanted but—hmm... ]

Would you like to come upstairs for a drink?

Yes, but if leave it here, there might be no meaning to this first meeting.

[ Aside from how I nearly dropped a robot on you. ]
