[ After everything that had happened with the back-to-back ViViDs and what he had learned about this place and its patterns, Giorno was ready to see what CERES was going to throw at them. The timeline fit and even though it had been pretty quiet, he wasn’t going to drop his guard as far as expecting things to go wrong were concerned. And just as he was exiting the door to leave for school—he gets his expected "present" as it were.
Two "presents" even.
The contents look to be something ripped out of a science fiction novel—then again this whole place and his current situation reeked of such a situation—as he looked down at the inactive robots. He vaguely recalls seeing the post from a Mosely regarding these. However, the matter of "what" to do with them doesn’t take more than a few moments as Giorno empties the contents of one of the boxes onto the hallway. It...really wasn’t going to move was it? All of the robots he had seen here were already activated and freely moved on their own. (Don’t think he doesn’t notice that big red button, he does.)
What if he tipped it over the ledge? Surely it must have some sort of programming preventing it from wanting to be hurt right? Was it goin—oh.
Oh.
Well, surely there was no one standing in the path of the falling robot, right? Or surely anyone who was that unfortunate to get in the way of it would have moved out the way. Regardless, Giorno is running over to lean over the railing to warn anyone below. ]
LOOK OUT!

[ Because I’m always up for anything!! If you want to discuss any possible scenario feel free to hit me up atoctazooka or send me a PM and we can set something up seeing that Giorno is not taking part of the event. ]
laughs at this timestamp
Though when he catches Fugo staring at it he can't help but wonder if he plans on doing with it. It isn't as if he has had time to talk to him about it. Somewhere between having to scramble to get to school in a reasonable amount of time and classes, there wasn't much proper down time to speak. ]
Does it bother you a lot?
H-HEY, IT WAS AN IMPROVEMENT!!
Nothing good can come of these things. If you don't need it for anything, we should get rid of it.
[Aside from the fact that they were definitely doomed to fail, there was just something kind of creepy about the whole thing. Maybe it's because of how CERES has already managed to force so much upon them, but it honestly wouldn't surprise him if this robot managed to turn itself on, somehow. It wasn't even a matter of this being their luck, it was just— that's how this place was.
...yeah, he definitely doesn't want to risk it.]
it improved in the exact manner that i thought it would :')
What if they decided to keep it here and it suddenly turn on? It'd clearly be a danger to themselves and anyone else. He might not have been here for the responsible trash ViViD but it didn't mean it doesn't cross his mind. ]
But we shouldn't just simply throw it away anywhere. If something does come from these, the less that are around, the better it will be.
IT... STILL COUNTS...!!
[Destroying it all together would really be the best case scenario, but it didn't seem like that was an option. If they couldn't destroy it, and just leaving it somewhere could mean it might come back to haunt them someday, then what could they do about it?]
that's true I suppose
Maybe not the whole thing then. ]
Or at least a part of it so we can keep track of where it ends up if it moves away from where we decide to dispose of it?
no subject
I guess it's worth a try.
[If it couldn't be destroyed, could it even be turned into something else? He wonders, but... Well, there was really only one way to find out. It didn't seem like it could hurt, anyway. So Fugo steps back a little, giving Giorno some more room.]
no subject
It couldn't hurt and it doesn't hurt anyone and quite honestly, it's probably a good thing that Giorno selects to transform a small portion of the robot at first rather than the entire thing. It doesn't actively cross his mind that he might not be able to turn it to something else, but instead he worried about CERES somehow being able to use that against him.
Who knew in this place, right? Either way, he focuses on the right arm and with Gold Experience he creates....nothing living. He just watches the arm melt and begin dribbling onto the ground into that...whatever that was. He wanted to create a frog.
That is not a frog. ]
no subject
It's almost a bit baffling, if only because he's never seen something like that happen before. (Or, at least, not from the likes of Gold Experience. He had never seen Giorno's Stand create something so... ugly.) He knows that Giorno's not really the one at fault here—he just can't be—but...]
H-has that ever happened to you before?
[Had Giorno's Stand ever just... not worked on something?]
no subject
No, never. [ But he hasn't had his Stand for very long so maybe this...could be what happens? No; it still feels wrong. Every time Giorno transforms anything, he has some sort of connection to them—this, this he doesn't feel anything towards. He's supposed to able to go back and forth between the states and when he tries there's just more dribble that falls off from the robot.
He's...definitely trying his hardest not to freak out but he is standing up and taking a few steps back to evaluate what is happening. ]
There has never been a time where Gold Experience hasn't been able to do what I wanted it to do.
[ Do... Do Stands even not work?? ]
no subject
(There's a part of Fugo that feels a strong desire to comfort him, somehow, but that's really weird and not like him at all. Giorno would be fine, right? He's just a little freaked out. Yeah.
He ignores this feeling.)]
But you've used it here before. [Fugo had seen it himself—Gold Experience definitely worked in this place.] So it has to be that machine. What the hell is it made out of...?
no subject
I'm not sure; it can't be living. [ Even though he hasn't tried it himself, he knows that the point of his Stand was give life. If something already had life, then there was nothing that he could do. Well, maybe not nothing but there was no way that it would react like this.
So then it just drives the question of "what the hell is it made of" further home. Though as Giorno watches the mess dribble onto their floor (good luck to both of them cleaning this up in the near future), an idea hits him and he goes to touch the leg on the alternate side allowing it to also dribble into a mess. His hand pauses just above the chest area. ]
But perhaps it's better this way.
[ If this had the potential to turn into a threat later—he was going to remove it. ]
no subject
He didn't like it.
But for now...]
Get rid of it.
[Then, they could clean it up—hopefully. Assuming there was nothing wrong with the weird liquid itself.]
no subject
The floor seemed to be okay so looks like there was nothing too terribly wrong with the liquid just yet. Still they should look on how to get rid of that soon too.
Perhaps this might have been a little overboard but they had no idea what they were dealing with. A little overkill was allowed—reasonable. Granted, now they had a huge mess to clean up and... Should they just leave it there like that or at least drag it elsewhere? (Why did this vaguely feel like a hit job?) ]
Let's hope that there's no coming back from this for it.
no subject
Fugo keeps his eye on the puddle of oil, as if waiting for it to do something, but when it doesn't...]
Yeah.
[It should be a relief, but somehow, it doesn't end up being all that comforting. ...then again, he could probably say that about everything in this place. Either way, he's glad that creepy robot is gone.]
I'll find something to clean up this mess with.
no subject
Allow me to help too. [ He'll follow suit. Giorno...really doesn't have to but there are things that he has been meaning to say but never had the time to. Sure having melted down a robot might not be exactly the best transition for this but there was no better way to start off what he wanted to say.
The vision he saw.
He...really needed to bring that up. It doesn't help how he also doesn't want to have Fugo leave his sights either—not for too long anyway (thanks Cereal). ]
no subject
Paper towels would be ideal... but maybe not enough. He'll grab a couple of regular towels, too, before handing some of them to Giorno.]
Here. [He's not sure how helpful soap is going to be, but he'll pick up some of that, too.] If we hurry, we might be able to stop it from staining.
[...wishful thinking, probably.]
no subject
Either way Giorno's going to look at the floor and feel a little bad for it. And given how much is dribbling everywhere...there was going to be a robot sized blotchy stain from where it was sitting.
More than likely. Unless the soap Fugo has is magic or made for removing these kind of oil stains. ]
It doesn't look like it's a matter a speed with this.
no subject
Even though this outcome was probably inevitable, Fugo can't help but feel annoyed anyway. They haven't even been living here that long and already...
(Not that there was any value or pride in this place—this place didn't really mean anything to him. But they still had to live here, and he'd still definitely prefer it to be clean.)
He'll get down beside the mess and dry up what he can.]
We might have to cover it up.
[Mature adult solutions.]
no subject
To be honest, some of the towels they were using were probably lost causes too, for that matter. ]
It's kind of in an awkward place. [ And a rather big stain... Somewhat near the entrance of their apartment. ]
We'll have to find something big enough that wouldn't look out of place right here.
no subject
Finding something fitting to cover it with is probably the only real option—it'd take a miracle to get rid of this completely, he knows—but Fugo being Fugo, he's still going to keep at this for a while. He's got a few feelings about cleanliness.
At least, unlike a certain Stand, he's smart enough not to scrub his hands raw.]
Yeah... Sorry about this.
[There was no way to know it would turn out this way, but he still felt like he'd made extra trouble for Giorno.]
no subject
Giorno's going to keep on helping Fugo out while he cleans. He might not have as serious of an attachment to the need for things to be sparkling clean, but he can understand the need to at least have their space to be as somewhat stain free as possible. Though when Fugo apologizes, Giorno stops for a moment to steal a glance at Fugo before getting back to at least scooping up all of the oil off of the floor. ]
Why? I was the one who did this.
[ Technically he should be apologizing for Fugo and another reason why he hasn't stopped cleaning. ] I should be the one apologizing.
no subject
[tfw the action that makes the most sense in a situation is to touch something and "give it life."]
no subject
Should he just dispose of these? Seems kind of a waste but who knows if they could get it out. ]
Then it isn't your fault either, Fugo. [ Giorno continues as he still debates what to do with the rags. Maybe they could use it for whenever they needed to mop up gross messes..? ]
We only did what we thought was right and now have to deal with the consequences.
no subject
It was a weird feeling. He was both intimidated by it but wanted to be close to it. He just had that kind of pull.
Fugo isn't sure how to respond to those words—he's not sure if he even can—so he just doesn't, and offers Giorno one of the now-dirty rags.]
...here. There's no use saving these.
no subject
I suppose there isn't. [ What a waste really...but what's done is done and Giorno goes to dispose of them into the wastebin and they fall to the bottom with a squishy thump. He'll wash his hands to get any residue off before drying them off and shoving his hands into his pocke—oh.
Right. ]
Oh, perhaps now might not be the best time for this but— [ He'll fish out a somewhat battered sticker from his pocket. It's a sizable (glittery) butterfly sticker that doesn't look like anything that would be what Giorno would carry around normally. Yet, here he is with it. ] Here you go.
[ Though as he looks at the sticker there is something else that had been nagging him for a while. He always had been waiting for an opportune time to broach the topic but... Guess there was never an a good time for that. ]
I'M LAUGHING SO HARD, JESUS.
LOOK I WAS DETERMINED TO MAKE IT HAPPEN SO I DID........
