[ After everything that had happened with the back-to-back ViViDs and what he had learned about this place and its patterns, Giorno was ready to see what CERES was going to throw at them. The timeline fit and even though it had been pretty quiet, he wasn’t going to drop his guard as far as expecting things to go wrong were concerned. And just as he was exiting the door to leave for school—he gets his expected "present" as it were.
Two "presents" even.
The contents look to be something ripped out of a science fiction novel—then again this whole place and his current situation reeked of such a situation—as he looked down at the inactive robots. He vaguely recalls seeing the post from a Mosely regarding these. However, the matter of "what" to do with them doesn’t take more than a few moments as Giorno empties the contents of one of the boxes onto the hallway. It...really wasn’t going to move was it? All of the robots he had seen here were already activated and freely moved on their own. (Don’t think he doesn’t notice that big red button, he does.)
What if he tipped it over the ledge? Surely it must have some sort of programming preventing it from wanting to be hurt right? Was it goin—oh.
Oh.
Well, surely there was no one standing in the path of the falling robot, right? Or surely anyone who was that unfortunate to get in the way of it would have moved out the way. Regardless, Giorno is running over to lean over the railing to warn anyone below. ]
LOOK OUT!

[ Because I’m always up for anything!! If you want to discuss any possible scenario feel free to hit me up atoctazooka or send me a PM and we can set something up seeing that Giorno is not taking part of the event. ]

No, it's alright; I'll come down. Give me a moment. [ Like a respectable human being instead of jumping over the railings since she's not in any immediate danger and totally fine. The spin's rather endearing.
But he'll be down soon enough—taking the stairs and jumping down several of them at the same time until he reached the bottom level and walking quickly to the outside where Vietnam stood. He'll probably be standing a bit closer to her than normal. ]
Once again, I apologize but I was trying to test the robot.
no subject
Instead she waits patiently! And why is he standing so close? And why isn't wary? Actually she might be taking a step closer.]
Testing the robot how? If it could fly?
no subject
And he doesn't seem to be too concerned about how the space between them is a lot smaller than it normally is. Europeans were always, or well, known to be rather hands-on, right? Clearly that must be it. ]
No, I was seeing if the robot that gave us had some sort of self-preservation installed inside of it. Clearly it doesn't. [ He'll reach for her hand and hold it as he looks to her and apologies again. ]
I am deeply sorry but it's good that you were not harmed.
[ SLOW YOUR ROLL, GIORNO. ]
no subject
He's probably been more grabby than her in the beginning anyway. So she probably is just used to this. Yes. Yes it's definitely because she's more used to this.]
I...see. So you activated it? [She blinks as he takes her hand, and then she clasps her other over his.]
I-it's fine! You didn't expect me to be there, no?
[It would be a kyah moment if it wasn't for the fact that for some reason she's okay with this kind of affection?!]
no subject
But good, with their hands clasped, Giorno will be more relaxed for some reason. Even with how handsy he can be, this is...really something. ]
No, I haven't activated. I didn't want to myself; I was curious to see if it would on it's own. [ Going to check to see if the robot is still out and—yep. Still not moving an inch. ]
Of course I didn't. I would have not wanted to put you in any harm's way if I had known.
[ It's okay Vietnam, when you look back at this at a later time...you can think about this moment in fondness. ]
no subject
It sure is, as seen by how she's stroking his hand. Because that's totally normal!]
Oh thank goodness. I was worried, just in case you did. [She stashed hers into the closet.]
See, it was unintentional, and I understand. More importantly, we all came out of this unscathed.
[She...probably would. If anything, she sure did learn to trust him more in situations like these.]
no subject
Also under any other circumstance, the way she's stroking his hand might come off as creepy but under these conditions, Giorno's not going to question it. They're already standing close to one another. What's a little hand stroking? ]
Yes. [ All of the physical attention aside, her phrasing gets him frowning as he looks at the robot. ]
We all did—including the robot that fell from the balcony. I've never seen anything hit the ground like that and still be fine.
[ Bless Vietnam and everything about her. ]
no subject
Exactly, there is nothing creepy about this whatsoever. They're just one step away from hugging or something equally bad/good anyway.
Also now that he mentioned it...]
It...actually you are right. It should've been shattered into pieces.
no subject
But the state of the robot is really something that worries him and honestly takes most of his attention. Vietnam's right. It should be broken, shattered into thousands of pieces and yet it was perfectly fine. Barely blemished...it makes him worried. ]
Vietnam, you received one of these as well, right? What did you do with your's?
no subject
Maybe she should hug him to protect him from this robot. Yeah, she will do that right now, making sure that she is standing between him and the robot too.]
I did. I put it in my closet. I have no activated it either.
no subject
And the hug is...not unwelcomed but it does get him to look at her as she stands between him and the robot. This was definitely more contact that he would have expected yet he doesn't feel like any of this is out of place. ]
That's good. [ If anything he'll give her a bit of a squeeze too as he hugs her back. They're nonchalantly holding onto one another. Clearly nbd. ]
It would probably be best if you don't either.
[ Though the matter to do his robot.... ] I'm not sure what I should do mine now that I've thrown it here.
no subject
And good, because this is clearly just to protect him, she's making sure he is out of harm's way. Nevermind that it feels quite nice and comfortable, and it's even better when he reciprocates it. He was just confirming that he's okay, right? Riiiiight.]
I believe so, I saw other robots that have been activated. I just have...a terrible feeling about this.
[She looks over at his robot.] ...Do you want to just throw it away?
no subject
But completely right. There was nothing weird about this at all or anything. This was completely and utterly normal. Yep. Sans the robot not being broken thing and that's where Giorno is stuck, though he's very glad that Vietnam didn't activate her's. ]
I do but I also want to make sure that it doesn't end up in the hands of someone who will do something foolish with it and any other discarded robot.
[ Giorno wasn't here for the trash event but he is a good boy and knows a thing or two about proper garbage removal. Or, well, something like that. He really didn't want to run the risk of anyone else getting hurt or whatever. ]
no subject
But yes, soothing, right? At least that's what she's trying now. Only the robots are the strangest things here.]
Oh, you are right. [What would happen if someone else did get their hands on the robot? Would it turn into them, or Giorno? Who even knows?]
Should we pull it back up to your room?
no subject
Though there's a moment where Giorno considers the options of them dragging the robot all the way back up to his apartment. Certainly it could be done and it wasn't that heavy but...wasn't there a better way? ]
We could or I could use my ability to make it easier for us to move it up back to my apartment.
[ Because if you have supernatural abilities that give you the opportunity to grow full trees from nothing, why not? ]
no subject
Your ability? [She never actually has heard or seen what he speaks of, so this interests her greatly.
SHOW HER THE POWER.]
i'm sorry you had to wait so long for this
But ask and you shall receive, sort of. It's not a definite "Yes" but he's not going to miss how deeply interested she is in what he can do. ] Yes, I can give life to things.
[ And since showing is so much easier than telling in this case, he'll bend over and place his hand on the ground—Gold Experience showing for a moment before he transforms the ground beneath them into branches of a tree lifting them upwards towards where his apartment was. ]
ANYTHING 4 U
Exactly, she wants to know what this is all about. Because who can give life to things? She swore she saw something too, before becoming suddenly alert, steeling herself so that she doesn't end up toppling out of the tree branches.
Once she knows she's steady, she immediately looks at him in surprised.]
Goodness! Did you just control that tree by giving it life?
