( open ) triple sunshine saga
Who: Stahn
majinken & YOU! (with guest appearances by Leon/
discard)
When: 6/24, mostly, with an option for 6/22-6/23!
Where: Various
What: Stahn activated his robot… and Leon’s (oops). Did Cerealia need this much sunshine (or hair) running around? Probably not, but it’s happening.
Rating/Warning:None, there is too much purity here.
0.5: Wildcard: The days before;
[on the 22nd and 23rd, things aren’t so bad. The stahnbots are looking and acting more like him by the day; bright and full of sunshine, but still dutiful. they help him with his shopping, partner up with him for multiplayer arcade games, and order all the right foods for lunch.
he’ll be out running errands and vigilantly teaching his robots everything that they need to know with a smile. There are plenty of times and opportunities to run into him and the bots and either balk or be completely amused at the sheer about of sunshine, smiles and mullets are happening in one place.]
I: Morning: Residential District;
[so far, so good. sure, it was a bit of a mistake to activate the two robots without knowing what would happen, but up until today? it’s been pretty cool! well, to stahn, at least. leon and dymlos both have clearly been exasperated by dealing with three stahns, but that’s fine.]
It’s okay, Stahnbot! I can go to work myself, you don’t have to go for me! [currently, he’s sitting on a bench at the edge of a part near one of the apartment buildings. one stahnbot is unwrapping a sandwich and handing it to the real(?) stahn. the other is eyeing dymlos and maybe reaching out for him. The sword is propped up against the bench next to the real stahn.
—suspicious.]
That’s my job though! I really don’t mind.
[so while stahn has a light argument with himself, he’s very distracted and is hardly noticing that the third is trying to make off with his sword.
help him.]
II-A: Afternoon: Just about anywhere in the city;
[there is a stahn coming your way. the thing is? there’s no telling which stahn it is. is he real? is it one of the robots? who knows. There’s one deciding factor, and that’s whether or not he’s got dymlos. only one stahn will be carrying dymlos. And those capable of hearing dymlos may notice that he’s quiet. well, even more quiet than usual.
either way, he seems to have boundless energy and a wide grin as he approaches.]
Hey! Do you have a minute to help me with something?
II-B: Afternoon: Just about anywhere in the city;
[there’s a stahn coming your way, but unlike the others that are running around, stahn isn’t as full of sunshine. He’s breathless, almost haggard… and noticeably missing that sword he always carries around with him.]
Hey… I need some help. Do you have a minute?
[wow, it’s like deja vu or something.]
III: Early Evening; Shopping District
[those who can hear dymlos will hear the booming sound of his voice yelling ”STAHN!” once he’s within close range to the real stahn. And naturally, stahn uses that as his guide, eventually leading him to a face-off with his two robot-doubles, one of which is carrying the sword.
of course, the robots still can’t hear dymlos, which makes this an interesting way for things to go down. For once, stahn himself isn’t a barrel of sunshine, he actually looks pretty pissed off.]
You guys may have had fun, but that’s enough. You can’t have Dymlos! You can’t even hear Dymlos! To you… he’s just a sword that makes you more like me, isn’t he? [he actually sounds a little hurt by this—he may be dumb sometimes, but he can see that they’re just taking the imitation too far, though he’s not sure how to deal with it.]
Give him back to me… come on! [he needs help, primarily because he doesn’t want to cause a scene when there are innocent people shopping and minding their business. the swordless stahnbot can’t his head to the side, while the other responds:]
Huh? But Dymlos is mine. I don’t think I have to give away something that’s mine… do I?
[the bots are equally as confused. This is what happens when a pure bean makes pure bean robot clones: none of them are malicious, but they don’t seem very willing to give in.
help. he needs so much help right now.]

Mm, she's right. [stahn will pipe up after a moment. it's his responsibility to teach them right from wrong.]
You can't just go taking things, either! My clothes are one thing, you needed them, but Dymlos... Dymlos isn't just an accessory or something like that. [even though they're gaining a better understanding of things, they still don't really grasp the fact that dymlos has sentience.
it really may take them a few minutes longer to start to grasp this, if the way the one holding dymlos seeming reluctant still is any indication. the real deal is ruffling his hair and sighing. he's not sad, but it's obvious he's a bit frustrated.
dealing with "himself" is hard, especially in surround sound.]
no subject
Dymlos, as he said, isn't an accessory. He's a friend. Of course Stahn would be worried if you just ran off with his friend when he was spending time with him.
no subject
[the two robots say it in unison, looking to each other before looking back to otome.]
I don't think I get it... [stahn really didn't spend that much time explaining dymlos, because it hadn't been necessary. dymlos isn't like chaltier, he doesn't speak a lot unless he needs to. and even once they were sure the robots couldn't hear him, dymlos had been more quiet than usual in order to prevent..
well, something like this.
clearly, that plan backfired because nobody could have predicted things would take this sort of turn, as much as dymlos tried to warn stahn to be more careful.]
no subject
After you give the sword back to Stahn. [ Be good robots, look at who you're modeled after!! Otome would rather not have to keep frowning disapprovingly here, it's a bit bizarre to have to direct this at Stahn... and more than one Stahn, at that. ]
no subject
[the bot does sound strangely remorseful, and maybe it's stahn's influence that can be credited for just that. as the bot slowly and cautiously hands dymlos back to the real stahn, he looks to otome curiously.]
Are you sure, Otome...? That seems like it'll be trouble for you. [this is his responsibility, after all. and he knows it.]
no subject
[ It's no skin off her back. ]
no subject
[he's obviously displeased with how this is going, though it's no fault of otome's. he feels genuinely bad getting her involved in this mess when he's been trying so hard to take care of this on his own.]
no subject
More importantly, is Dymlos okay? [ They didn't smack him into anything, did they? Can swords feel pain in the first place? ]
no subject
dymlos has no qualms in responding to otome; she may not be able to hear him, but he's well aware that stahn will convey the message.]
That's good... [stahn first replies directly to dymlos, and the relief is palpable. after a very short pause, he'll look to otome and nod his head.]
Yeah, he's okay. He said it carried him the way I usually do, so... I guess it was still careful.
no subject
no subject
stahn, of course, isn't surprised that she reacts that way, and all he can do is agree.]
Yeah, it is. I don't know what I would have done if something happened to him. [stahn's been frantic about it all day, especially because it does sort of make him feel a bit careless and unworthy of his title as swordian master to let that happen.]
no subject
[ Two things Otome is incredibly good at: staying on top of people's health and Mom lectures. She'd rather them not get the idea into their Stahn-like heads to try and snatch up Dymlos again. ]
no subject
[he can trust otome with the mom lectures—in fact, he's sure she'll do a better job of making them understand than he ever could. besides...
he's got a lecture of his own coming from dymlos while she does that, which naturally is not going to be enjoyable. (even if it's well-deserved and he's not going to fight it.)]
no subject
She'll aim for ten minutes, tops, but explaining to robots about sentient selectively-talking swords is... complicated. ]
no subject
—and the robots are having a somewhat hard time grasping otome. they seem to get that taking things without asking is bad, but...]
We'll work harder to understand this Swordian, Dymlos so we can speak to him as well! [this is probably the wrong response.]
no subject
[ THIS IS TAXING... ]
no subject
Right, we will! [they probably won't, but they seem sincere enough about it. stahn's tired, but he can't stay mad for too long when he really doesn't thing there was anything malicious behind their actions.
still, he looks exhausted.]
no subject
[ Maybe they should both sit down for a while. ]
no subject
[exhausting. he probably should sit down, honestly.]
no subject
[ So have a gentle nudge to the back. C'mon, let's find you a seat. ]
no subject
[it's hard to resist otome's nudging, but he's also still concerned about the bots and whether or not they'll try to make off on their own again like before. here it is, a rare moment of stahn being kind of stressed out.]
no subject
... Actually, what did Leon have to say about this?
[ she's at least periodically glancing over her shoulder at the Bot Brigade, just to make sure they're behaving themselves. ]
no subject
He's... not happy about it at all. [things have been pretty tense, honestly. that's definitely not helping things, either. leon's been pretty aggravated this whole time, which makes him snappier and more avoidant than usual.]
no subject
[ OH WELL. ]
no subject
Mm... I wouldn't have done it if I knew things would be like this. I thought it would help Leon out, but... [obviously not.]
