Who: Leon (
discard) and you people who have to put up with him, starring: two Stahnbots
When: IC: 6/25 - 6/30 ; OOC: 4/19 - 4/30 ; event 28
Where: All around Cerealia, but especially the Residential and Entertainment Districts
What: Life is really hard when a) your sense is touch and you hate touching people and b) there are two robots of your best friend demonstrating some really worrisome behavior. Uh oh.
Rating/Warning: Probably disgusting levels of Dumb in here, also robot murder
a. [ 6/25 - 6/28 ]
[The problem here is that Leon's sick of both robots and people. He's tense and uncertain already from everything that's been happening, even if it's seemed harmless so far, he's paranoid enough to think that things have to go wrong eventually.
As if that wasn't bad enough, he's been feeling the urge to...well, touch people more and more, in little harmless ways like reaching for their hand or sleeve, and that's extra bad because he knows he doesn't want that. He doesn't like touch. He doesn't like being touched. He needs his personal space bubble, which is why when he bumps into either you or your robodouble, somewhere around Cerealia, at first he's actually legitimately grabbing onto your arm--
Though it's to steady himself, he lingers there for a moment longer than necessary before he catches himself, flustering and...shoving either you or said robodouble away rather sharply and rudely.]
Get away from me!
[Leon, you were the one who grabbed on in the first place.]
b. [ 6/29 ]
[So.
Stahn activated both robots for both Leon and himself, which means there are two Stahn robots wandering around Cerealia--except they don't seem to be wandering so much anymore as actively stalking Leon. He has no idea why they're so fixated on him, but he's definitely stalking away as quickly as he can without outright running (because he's not retreating, he's just trying to get away, that's all), as the Stahnbots attempt to stalk him in their completely obvious way, hiding behind walls or trash cans but peering out so obviously as they do so.
They're not stealthy at all.
Of course, if someone tries to stop them, they might go ahead and do what they were planning on doing to Leon all along and squeeze you in a hug.
Death by affection--hey, it'd probably work on Leon. It looks as though he's rather rumpled in appearance already, cape askew and hair a mess, which means he's probably gotten dragged into a hug or two already before he was Prepared.
So if you're in the way, he's going to go ahead and snap out, rather tensely:]
Get out of the way. Don't slow me down!
[Stahnbots are coming, okay!!! He'll shove people out of the way if he has to--because he really does sound more panicked than angry at this point, even if he's trying to keep it under wraps.]
c. [ 6/30 ]
[But, ultimately, Leon can't avoid the Stahn robots forever. It's been a really exhausting week, and things have only gotten worse and worse. So honestly, Leon's picked a really bad time to slip up, but that's the story of his life, so here he is, in the middle of the sidewalk in the Entertainment District, probably totally in the way.
But can anyone really blame him, when there's a Stahnbot attached to each arm, and they're each pulling on opposite directions?
He's trying to reach for his sword, but it's honestly impossible for him to break each of their grips on his arms, and so he can't reach--he's almost pathetically helpless like this, even if he's struggling. One Stahn he might have been able to handle, but two? There was no chance.]
Don't touch me!
[He's certainly unhappy... but wandering a bit closer will reveal that that's because said Stahnbots seem to be fighting over...who gets to kill Leon first to prevent the other from having him. That sounds healthy.]
I'm going to take you to pieces! [How, Leon......... you're kind of stuck.
...help.]

considering he doesn't have a murderous double around, steven has taken it upon himself to keep an eye on the streets for people that need help. there certainly doesn't seem to be a shortage of that, especially when he hears a ruckus in the residential district. ]
Metagross. Cradily.
[ approaching leon and both stahnbots will be not only steven, but two large, menacing-looking creatures on either side of him. ]
Restrain them.
[ on command, both monsters will attack - metagross' telekinesis forces one stahnbot off of leon and throws him against a wall to pin it there, while cradily's tentacles reach out to pry the other stahnbot's arm away and pull it close before wrapping her tentacles and long neck around it tightly.
neither actions are strong enough to kill the robots (though that can change in an instant if steven commands it), but they're certainly incapacitated no matter how they struggle. it gives steven the opportunity to approach leon safely, his brow furrowed in both hesitance and concern. he's not certain that this young man is a bot himself, but would they really attack one of their own? it doesn't make logical sense for them to... but he's been wrong before. he's taking a risk, but he has a back-up plan if things go sour. ]
Are you all right?
no subject
Steven approaches him, and he recognizes him, vaguely--but there's something difficult about seeing Stahn slammed against a wall, Stahn wrapped in tentacles, even if Leon knows it's not really Stahn.
... He's eating those words he told to Lili now, isn't he?]
... Hmph. I'm fine. I would have been fine on my own.
[Whatever, Leon.]
You did not have to interfere.
no subject
On the contrary, I believe I did. Those two were fighting over the rights to your corpse. [ he sighs. ] Though I'm glad you're unharmed.
[ he glances back to the robots. there's no time to waste. ]
We'll have to destroy them.

And nope, there he goes, and she stumbles a step back, blinking.
WELL OKAY INDEED. ]

Leon almost wants to reach for her again when he realizes it's Otome; his fingers twitch with the desire, and he very nearly edges towards her before he swallows and forces the urge away.
This is so difficult, and he doesn't even understand why it's happening.]
I--
[His voice cracks.]
Don't...come near me.
[It makes him even weaker to the want to just...reach for her hand, as some form of human contact.]
no subject
[ She'd obey any other time, but when his voice breaks a little like that, it's a clear warning sign that something is wrong. And she can't help if she doesn't get closer-- even if it's just a single step forward that she takes. ]

he's tired and frustrated, and as the days pass and the situation with the robots has gotten worse, he's been a lot more exhausted and a lot less full of sunshine. his patience has been wearing thin in ways that were almost uncharacteristic—though dymlos has been the one bearing the brunt of it the most with snappy arguments. regardless, things have gone too far.
stahn is worried about leon, and honestly worried for his safety after hearing the things they were saying about not wanting to share him, and how it would be better if he was dead. that's the last straw, the final snapping point. nobody puts a threat on leon's life.
and sure as hell nobody puts a threat on leon's life with his face.
so stahn is furious—that true, hot-blooded fury that embodies every reason why he the swordian master of fire. and when he finally catches up to leon and the bots to see the clasping at his arms, arguing over him and putting him in danger, it flares.]
Dymlos... [he mutters, and dymlos knows what to do, that fiery aura engulfing the whole of the blade as he charges forward. there are no words, just his angry cries.]
Oryaaaaaaaa! [and in he comes, plunging the sword angrily right through one of the stahnbots. there's no regard for where they are (unlike a few days ago, when he'd tried so hard to avoid that), and there's no fancy moveset to go with it, save for the sheer force of his attack, which pierces cleanly through; when he removes dymlos from the body, it's covered in that oil. he'll have something to say to the other stahnbot in a minute. probably. maybe.
he definitely needs a second to let that fury subside, but it sure it giving the stahnbot a chance to rethink it's shitty life choices.]
no subject
Slowly, his eyes go from the corpse to the blade (familiar, even when covered by black oil) and then the face of the actual Stahn, with all of that fury and anger in his eyes.
Leon blinks, and he searches for words, but...really, he can't find them, because he was never honestly expecting this.
The other Stahnbot takes advantage of his momentary distraction and the lack of force from the other side to tug him towards it--Leon stumbles a little despite himself, before whirling on the other bot in his own fury and...
Socking it in the face.
It's enough to get it to let go of him, but there's no doubting that Leon could've gone for a dagger or Chaltier and didn't.]

Hey, jerk—!!
[But ah-- Wait a second, he recognizes the voice of this jerk! He'd been a bit unfocused in his own panic, but now that he's noticed Leon as Leon, he's looking more concerned than miffed.]
Wait - hang on a second, where are you even going so fast? Is one of 'em after you?
[THEY'RE AFTER EVERYONE.]

(And later, much later, the real Hiro Hamada will hear about this and learn all about the fact that his robot's perfected absolutely everything about him and disappeared on his own.)]
I'd like to see you try to take them on. [It's the lilt of the voice that really sells that he's the original, the mildly teasing smirk as he circles the trio curiously.] You look a little stuck.
no subject
The only major clue in is that Baymax isn't around--
But for now, Leon's not even thinking about that. He's mostly thinking about how not only is he stuck between two Stahnbots who want to kill him and are fighting over who gets to, he's getting goaded, too.]
Shut up!
[And he's pissed, but what else is new.]

As in, a rock the size of someone's fist is suddenly going to smack one of the Stahnbots in the back of the head. Probably not enough to do any real damage, but hopefully enough to be a distraction. And if the bots don't immediately spot Frisk standing a couple of yards away, then (the real!) Frisk is going to make sure they do by cupping their own mouth and yelling.]
Hey, stupid fartfaces! Leon can't be your friend if he's mine first!
[... Things we can learn if they survive this experience: 1) Frisk sucks at insults, and 2) they suck at insulting yandere robots.]
no subject
Thankfully, it does work as a perfect distraction; the Stahnbot that was hit in the head loosens its grip on Leon, even as the other turns at the insult (and mostly the implication that Frisk is Leon's friend instead of the bots), and then Leon has all the opening he needs.
He yanks one arm from the robot's grasp, immediately using it to elbow the thing in the gut, before turning and clocking the other bot in the face. Should he have gone for the sword and dagger right there at his disposal now that his arms are free? Yeah, probably.
Does he? No, of course not; they're wearing Stahn's face.
Instead, he'll retreat a few paces towards Frisk, but mostly keeping the robots in view (and making sure that he keeps himself between them and Frisk. Not that he cares but!!!!)]
I don't recall ever agreeing to be your friend. [That's what you have to say after all of that, Leon?]

They're really gotta stop meeting like this, though.
As soon as there's that brief opening, Leon's competent enough to take it; he stumbles back and away from the Stahnbots as soon as they let go, hand hovering over Chaltier before he...doesn't reach for Chal at all, instead turning and clocking the nearest bot in the face.
Yes.
That will help.
