Who: Friskbot, a group of Very Unfortunate Parental FiguresTM, and Where in the World is Frisk Sandiego.
When: (Forward dated to) IC: 6/30 / OOC: 04/30
Where: An equally as unfortunate closet in who-knows-where.
What: NO MERCY ROUTE: CEREALIA EDITION.
Rating/Warning: Kidnapping. Subpar puns.
[Four (4) squeaky plastic chairs. Five (5) slices of stale, left-over lemon cake. One (1) supposedly futuristic boombox that keeps getting stuck in the same damn part of the same damn song. This, friends and pals, is hell.
Or, rather, it's an uncomfortably cramped utility closet in the middle of an unused building. Or — something suitably weird like that.
Either way, welcome to the Undertale Yandere Simulator.]
( individual starters below, as previously agreed on! more will be added s l o w l y. )

sans & steven.
Friskbot is just casually going to pull Steven in, dragging him along with a pink jumprope, and. Yeah. How did this happen? Isn't Steven an adult??? We just don't know. (A stick to the face might have had something to do with it, but. Details.)
Once the door is shut behind the two of them, they'll be nudging him towards one of the empty plastic chairs. They'll then proceed to look at Sans, and in a pretty accurate imitation of Frisk's voice:]
This is Steven. Think you'll get along.
[... This is not the introduction they deserved, but it's the one they got. OH, WELL.]
no subject
[So it's kidnapping a whole bunch of people, and not just him. Good to know. Maybe Papyrus will be next? Sans is pretty sure his brother is okay, but having some hard evidence would be nice.]
[That's not counting the whole Frisk is M-I-S-S-I-N-G fiasco on top of it all. He has confidence in the kid--they've been fine on their own before--but this is the exact sort of thing people tend to worry about, the chillest of skeletons included.]
[He tilts his chin up towards Steven, his own body bound with another jumprope.]
'sup.

but, like sans, he's more concerned about frisk's own well-being then his own. he knows that they're capable of taking care of themselves, but in an uncertain time like this, it can't be helped.
still, for now he has to focus on getting out of this decidedly irritating situation... along with introducing himself to his fellow kidnapee, apparently. the figure is certainly recognizable - frisk had shown him a picture with their friends, which included two skeletons. this... man/monster/whatever is definitely that.
with what appears to not be a choice, he sighs and sits in the "offered" chair, also bound with a jump rope. this is stupid. ]
As of now, not much.
[ he'll wait until the friskbot leaves them before speaking up again. ]
Forgive me if I'm wrong, but would your name happen to be Sans?
no subject
[This is without a doubt the most stupid, but hey, stupid's better than dead. Or stabbed. Or dead from getting stabbed.]
[Maybe that's why Sans is so laid back. It could also be because he just woke up from yet another nap.]
Frisk told you about me, huh?
[He's been watching them talk to you on the network, Steven, making sure you're not some kind of weirdo. Not that he'll say that aloud or anything.]
no subject
In passing, yes. They showed me a picture of you and the rest of your friends.
[ and it's not like friends like that wouldn't stand out in a crowd. ]
I'd offer to shake your hand if it were a realistic option. [ he does attempt to struggle, but damn. these jump ropes are tied tightly. ] But despite the circumstances, it's a pleasure to meet you.
no subject
It's cool.
I get that you're a little...
[...here we go...]
...tied-up at the moment.
[Welcome to Hell, Steven.]

adelina joined your party.
They make sure Adelina's seated down first before checking those . Once that's done, they take a step back. Frown at the boombox when it gets stuck again. Ignore boombox. Do introductions, instead.]
This is Adelina. Be friends, okay? Then we can have fun and... eat cake. Promise.
[Have disgruntled conversations among yourselves like responsible adults? Dish inappropriately timed puns? Cross your fingers and hope you don't get jumprope burn? Do all the above? This is what happens when you try your best and don't succeed. In any case, Great Value brand Frisk will be leaving them to do their own thing while they go find their own double to kill. Have fun!]

as she tries to free herself, she looks at the other two inhabitants of this closet. luckily, frisk has informed her that they're friends with a skeleton, or her reaction would be a bit more animated. as it is:]
How long have you both been here?
no subject
Not particularly long, thankfully. [ but, ever the gentleman, he'll offer her a small smile. ] Adelina, was it? My name is Steven - we've spoken on the network on a few occasions.
no subject
[a pause, examining the jumprope that's binding him to a chair. time to put on her thinking cap.]
What do you think the easiest way to escape would be?
no subject
[ his gaze turns to the empty chair, which he nods to as a gesture for her to examine it as well. ]
Sans and I were speaking about the possibility of more people being brought here. Judging from that last chair, we should be expecting someone else soon - as much as I would like to escape now, waiting for them may be the best course of action.

I've been here longer than him.
Not sure how much longer, but definitely longer.
Name's Sans, by the way.
no subject
[to her, that's worrisome. she's still committed to quickly finding a way to escape, though.]
Sans? I believe Frisk mentioned you. [play it cool, addie. you can talk to a skeleton, you can do the thing.] It's a pleasure to meet you, though less so in these trying circumstances. My name is Adelina.
no subject
[He pauses.]
And if they're not good, I'm willing to bet they're funny.
[See? Friendly skeleton. It's all good, Adelina.]
But anyway, nice to meet you, too, all things considered.

papyrus has joined the party.
Wrapped up in a particularly sparkly jumprope will be one (1) Tall Skeleton. How did Friskbot nab Papyrus? We just don't know. But they will be sitting him down in that last, empty chair before taking a step back. Tilting their head. Doing that thing with their fingers. And then they nod, apparently satisfied.]
... Be back soon. Then... we'll be real friends.
[If that isn't ominous enough, then the fact that they're clicking through their cellphone to take something out of the Dimensional Boxes as they leave probably is. The door will be locked once they're gone.
What now?]
and we're very sorry for it.
That's said, he's starting to question this bot's befriending technique. He likes to consider himself the open-minded sort, welcoming a variety of peculiar befriending methods, but even this is a bit alarming to him.
After Friskbot is gone, Papyrus whispers (very loudly) to his fellow kidnapees: ]
I'm beginning to think that robot may need a little guidance on how to better make friends, if this if their method of choice!
no subject
[Unfortunately, that also means they're all on a time limit now to find Frisk, but let's celebrate the fact that Papyrus is okay first.]
[While also hoping that Papybot isn't running around killing people with 'kindness'.]
[That's a terrifying thought.]
Well, I just made two new friends today thanks to that weirdo.
So I guess it kind of works.
no subject
Sans! [ Boy, is Papyrus glad to see him, too. And he brings up a (surprisingly) good point! ]
You're absolutely right! Their methods may be unusual, and perhaps a bit excessive, but effective nonetheless!
[ Far be it from Papyrus to argue against any situation where he stands to make new friends. ]
no subject
That being said.
Let's, uh, let's not to follow their example.
[The last thing he needs is to explain to some hapless potential friends why his brother tied them up and tossed them into a closet.]
[Not that there's a good chance Papyrus would ever do something like that, but it doesn't hurt to be prepared.]
Besides, your way of friend-making is way better.
[The one where he sets puzzles and traps complete with fire, spikes, and occasionally an unintentional dog.]

[ it's murder. murder is its true intention. surprise. ]
Papyrus, I assume? [ unless cerealia has even more talking skeletons running around than he thought. ]
no subject
Did he just...get recognized by someone he hasn't met yet? Does his reputation and fame truly precede him?!
THIS IS AN AUSPICIOUS DAY. ]
You assume correctly, human! Nyeh heh heh! The time has come for you to be so privileged to meet the Great Papyrus at last!
[ All of Steven's wildest dreams must be coming true, natch. ]
no subject
I'm sure that meeting any friend of Frisk's can be considered a privilege. [ still a little unsure, but he's smiling politely all the same. ] My name is Steven. Pleased to meet you.

[somehow unfazed by skeletons at this point. she might give a polite wave if she wasn't currently bound with a jump rope. it's a hard life.]
You must be from Frisk's world as well, then?
no subject
He also seems unfazed by these circumstances, giving her a classic skeletal grin. ]
Indeed! I am the Great Papyrus! Future Royal Guard and unparalleled spaghettore! [ Never mind there is no more Royal Guard. It's a force of habit now, really. ] You are yet another one of Frisk's friends?
[ And, by the same token, a friend of the Friskbot, however unwillingly. ]
no subject
Yes, I am one of their friends. I was very glad to hear they now have friends from their home here with them.
