It's true that the powerpoint leaves much to be desired... and it seems like a lot of the truth of this situation may be a lot more complicated than it makes it seem. But one basic fact seems to be true - that we're currently on an alien world. And at the mercy of that powerful organization, CERES, which has technology far beyond our own.
