[ CLOSED ] FOR HEERO
"Listen, Heero, go pack up Wing and start sleepin' here. It makes no sense for me to have a bedroom I'm not even using anyways.." That's how all of this had started, anyways. At least before they'd gone to collect Heero's small collection of things, and had to carry them from one place to another. Thankfully Heero wasn't as much of a pack rack as he was, and the moving hadn't taken too long but.. the whole getting used to another body in his space might take a little while, again. Thankfully he was used to having Heero around, and he was a quiet roommate, so there wasn't much to bother with when it came to getting annoyed or anything stupid like that. Mostly, he's going to have to get used to having Wing and Deathscythe in one place and one apartment, which meant a little bit of chaos when they had first started settling in. Gundams messing around with each other started out cute -
Until thermal weapons started being used. And then it was a huge risk to life and limb.
Thankfully they'd been easily separated, and their weapons hidden away, and the apartment had settled in to a quiet place once again. At leat until Duo decided that it was dinner time, and -
There's Duo, his backpack slung on his back as usual, filled with some of the things that Heero would let him carry, a box in his arms. They're moving like teenage boys on a mission, at least, but after the whole beach episode everyone seems to be out and about so.. it calls for a few stops and "excuse mes" from time to time. Or just, you know, the occasional bump in to someone if he was too busy trying to navigate around one person for avoiding another -
- So forgive him if he gives you a little jostle, ok?
Legitimately fresh fruits and vegetables are still such a novelty to a kid that's used to freeze dried or transported foods that were just.. not quite up to snuff for most people who had never lived on a space colony before. So, after he'd done helping his war buddy unpack and leaves him to get things organized as he wants them - he's back at the grocery stores and markets that he can find along the way, picking up and examining things and probably taking more than a few taste tests until -
Oops - bumping in to someone with a little grunt of surprise, dropping the pomegranate in his hands. "Shit - my bad! You didn't drop anything, did you?"

"Heero? Any preference for dinner?"

"Uhhhh... " Duo pauses, looking around to see if Heero was anywhere he could snag him. After all, the other teenager had been there a lot longer and could give much better directions than he could, he was sure. But with the other teen no where in sight he decides to just try his best.
"I think there's one like.. a block down to your right? I haven't had to make a supplies run for first aid stuff yet around here but I thought I heard Heero sayin' something about a place down that way?"

"I don't either half the time, don't feel bad." The braided teen shrugs - not bothering to remind himself that he was probably the odd ball one who was fine with just.. wandering until he found where he needed or wanted to be. The wanderlust in him wasn't easy to assuage in a place where there was no going off planet just because or anything like that, so he'd taken to exploring places, populated or abandoned, just to see what was there and what he could get in to when the urge struck him.
"I usually just wander until I find it. Sometimes it turns out better than other times but that's just the luck'a the draw."

It's kind of a partial smile on his face, like his friend has plenty to worry about when it comes to him.
"This part of the colony isn't as bad as some of the others, right? At least in terms of some of the surprises I've heard about?"

"Thankfully my roommate doesn't fuss too much." If at all. Heero liked for people and places to be pretty quiet, after all, so Duo not being around to make noise and interruption would probably be the most opportune thing for him. And well, Duo tended to be the kind of guy who couldn't be turned away from wandering the streets anyways.
"Nah, not in my experience. But I'm from a pretty rough part of town where I'm from so I might not have the same uh.. scale of what a 'bad' part of town is.."

"I mean stuff like the plants in the gardens, and other things I heard about. Usually I don't mind figuring things out for myself, but I figure I should be careful just in case."

"Then you'll be fine." Duo shrugs. Of course, here the back alley thugs and things of the like were... a little differently shaped, but hey, they were still dangerous things and people. He nods gently as Eiji explains himself further, moving one hand to readjust how that black baseball cap sits on his head.
"Nah, there's not a lot of that.. Maybe one or two but nothin' you can't avoid just by lookin' ahead a little bit."

"Thanks. That really helps."

"In the daylight there shouldn't really be anything going on. I've never had any trouble while the sun's shinin'."
