Prompt A; CLOSED to Swordhaus

[ So today Shigeru is stopping by one swordhaus because he promised a certain fox that he’d bring his cybuddy fox over for a…playdate?! So you can have one unsure man standing outside the door to the apartment with a fluffy fox cybuddy in his arms as he knocks on the door silently. He’s never really been to many other people’s homes before, it does make him anxious after all, but he’s going to try his best today to not get…too uncomfortable. ]

Prompt B; OPEN – Cerealia marketplace

[ Perhaps you were in the middle of eating a tasty snack, or maybe you were just messing around on your cerevice. Regardless of what you were doing whatever is in your hand is quickly snatched away as a blur of orange jumps into the air and grabs it out of your hand. It’s a tiny fox cybuddy that makes a pleased sort of sound before it dashes through the crowd and out of the way.

Shigeru will rush up to you with a rather apologetic look on his face. ]

I’m so sorry! I’ll go get your things back right away!

[ Cybuddy fox…why you do this?! ]

[ There's the sound of Shigeru yelping in the kitchen this morning as he accidentally cuts himself with a knife. He's not usually clumsy like that, but it happens to everyone. What he doesn't expect to happen is to see that same blackened blood that flowed from the robot's body to be flowing from his own body. He's looked terrified and literally stumbles backwards only to see the blood from his now healed wound to be its normal color again...

Well that was alarming. ]

Has anyone noticed anything strange going on with them? I...I cut myself just now and my blood was...black.

[ Hello Kashuu it's nice to see you there! Shigeru smiles and waves with his free as he steps inside. He'll put down robo!fox before typing up something. ]

I came here to visit! I think...Kogitsunemaru was it? Well he said I could bring my fox cybuddy to visit! So I thought I would stop by!

I don't know...I hope it doesn't mean anything, and it's just another trick Ceres is playing with us.

[Naki's not the one who lets him in, but whenever he enters he might eventually see another fox cybuddy run past, skid to a halt, run back to check him out, circle him curiously a few times, then - after a moment's hesitation - run back to where its owner is just stepping out of one of the rooms.

Hello there! Did you just arrive? [asks the fox on his shoulder as Naki catches the other fox leaping into his arms.]

[ Oh! Shigeru startles a little as he watches the fox dash on by. His smile is bright as he looks back to the fox and young man that appears shortly after.

He'll take out his cerevice to type something up to the tiny fox. ]

Yes! That's right. I came by because I wanted my fox cybuddy to meet some other cybuddies!

[ Also it helps him get out of the house too. ]

You're the first talking fox I've ever seen. I mean...back at home we used to have them, but they've long since been seen.

[That thing that Eiji happened to be holding was a candroid, and a very unhappy one at that, now that the little octopus has been taken by a tiny fluffy fox.]

Wait, that's not food! Hold on!

[And then Shigeru runs up and Eiji recognizes him right away.]

[Or at least, he hopes he's not running into a "different world" thing right now. Also, he's surprised enough to forget that his arm is still cut up and his eyes are purple, so topics of conversation are going to probably get odd fast.]

[ Oh, whoa, hold the phone. Is that really Eiji?! Shigeru looks amazed and surprised all at once. ]

Eiji?! Is that really you? When did you get here?

[ And then after a pause. ]

[Kaden was out in the open, thinking about getting a snack or two from the marketplace. He's used to maybe nosing around in the fields or hunting in forests, but shopping once in a while wasn't so bad. Besides, he was thinking that maybe they had something unique here for him to try, or a brush that goes oh-so-well with his fur would be found.

Instead, he finds a really fat little fox jumping at him and stealing his beastrune with the agility that seems rather odd for its stature.]

Hey! That's not nice.

[And before Shigeru can approach to apologize, Kaden's already running after the critter with a lot more speed than you'd expect from a humanoid fox.]

[ Ah oh my god?! This is a legit disaster. Shigeru just...puts his cerevice away as he literally dashes to catch up with his fox and with Kaden as well.

But little fox doesn't seem to mind being chased, in fact, it probably thinks this is playing and is enjoying it?! It'll run down an alleyway which ends up being a dead end. Oh no! ]

[Ankh had been snacking on a popsicle when suddenly the half of it he hadn't yet gotten to eating was stolen directly out of his hand by... something.]

[He is obviously not pleased. Snatching ice pops is his job... though it's been a while since he grabbed one from anyone else's hand. He starts to chase after the critter but loses sight of it in the crowd.]

[He might just give up except then there's someone apologizing.]

[ Shigeru nods, a look of utmost apology on his face as he watches the fox dash between the crowds of people. He's really sorry about this, oh gosh. He looks a bit embarrassed and flustered to boot. ]

Yes. I'm really sorry. We can track him using my cerevice. I...I promise to buy you a new snack once I get him back!

[ He just needs to go catch his fox now. ]

[ Allen please?! Shigeru doesn't even know what you're say. Okay. He does but he can tell this is his first time using something like this. ]

[ yes, it's a little rude walking around eating, but he's still a highschool guy and he just spent a few hours wading around the water park keeping an eye out for any floundering children. (he really needs to quit this part-time job and find a new one.) so kakyoin doesn't feel too guilty about munching on a sandwich from one of the marketplace stands as he walks to his apartment.

except there's a sudden blur of movement, and the sandwich is gone from his hand.

and there's a fox running off into the crowd. he can see the sandwich wrapper peeking out past its teeth.

in an instant, hierophant green is out and hovering behind his shoulder, legs already unraveling into those long, green tendrils to snag the unruly beast. it's only the sound of an unfamiliar voice that makes him look over with a slight frown. ]

... I appreciate the offer, but getting it back isn't really the point.

[ look he's had some rough meals on the road, but he's not going to eat something an animal had in its mouth. ]

[ When he sees Hierophant Green appear, Shigeru pauses in his tracks. He looks at the stand and then at his poor cybuddy fox. He types something else on his cerevice then, his expression worried and awkward all at once. ]

Please don't hurt him! I know that it's not right...I can buy you another sandwich if you want? He's not used to being outside this much. I think he just got...excited.

[ Ah, well, that was probably Shigeru's fault mostly. He really didn't like going outside more then he had to. ]

[food is good. good food is even better. riku's blt sub looks delicious and he's more than eager to give it a bit. what a shame that chance never come. the sandwich is in his hand one second and then gone the next courtesy of a thieving cybuddy. the proud sound only makes riku more irked.]

[two things keep him from giving chase: the sheer density of the crowd it ran into and someone coming by to apologize. riku turns toward the guy before sighing and glancing back at the mass of people.]

Thanks, but it'll be tough chasing it down in this crowd. [that blt probably won't be in one piece anyway. sigh.] Your robot?

[ Shigeru nods emphatically at that. He's really very sorry and looks it too. ]

Yes that's right. I'm...really sorry. He's never done that before. We should be able to track him with this app on my cerevice though.

[ Or Shigeru can do it...he doesn't think the other is too thrilled about his food being stolen after all. ]

If you wait here I can go get him and buy you a new sandwich!
