What: Sakura agreed to go on a shopping date with Soleil. After all, they both can use some new clothes.

[ Keeping busy with work was what Sakura did best. While she didn't define her preteen-daughter-from-the-future as a chore, there was still a number of things to do in order to make life a little easier on her here in the colony. It's just enough to keep the kunoichi in cycle of work and sleep relentlessly, not once pausing to consider her own needs.

It's only when she gets around to doing the laundry does she recall her agreement with another. While she's lucky enough that her clothing went untouched, she was in need of owning a few more articles or else she'd wear her current wardrobe down to the threads.

So after shooting her a quick text message (with an apology for how long it's been), she heads off for the marketplace. Jumping from roof to roof, of course. It's a lot easier to spot someone on the ground when you can see from up above. ]

( Although her offer to Sakura had been a bit impulsive, Soleil realized almost immediately upon settling into her apartment that she was in an actual need for clothing. She had only what she arrived with on her back. Even with the armor of her uniform stripped off, her mercenary uniform wasn't exactly great as casual wear.

Besides, she had a powerful curiosity to see the fantastical foreign clothes. So, when she was about ready to go on the town herself, she received the message from Sakura. That gave her all the more reason to find something that looked good.

After arriving in the marketplace, Soleil does as instructed and waits. Although she stands out with her pink hair and Nohrian wear, she wonders how easily Sakura could find her. She doesn't mind having to wait long, though; between the noises, lights, and fashions, she has enough to distract her. )

[ Soon she has a woman falling from the sky down in front of her to also serve as a distraction. At least the land is smooth even if it wasn't her intention. ]

Hey there! [ Greeting her with a wave, she straightens up easily enough. ]

Did you see any shops along the way or should we just start poking our heads around?

( Soleil jerks in surprise, but she recognizes the other girl immediately. Ninjas are apparently weird no matter what world they're from. )

I was so excited to see you again that I didn't pay attention to anything on my way here. Looks like we'll be looking around together.

( That just means their stroll will last a bit longer. She isn't about to complain, especially given how new this whole place still is to her. Soleil stands beside Sakura and offers an arm. )
