Where did all these people come from... Well, anyway! Hijikata dragged his comrades back to his house, but it looks like some other surprises came along the way!?

A dog? To have such a small and fluffy beast hiding somewhere in this home, how I have not yet made contact. Is this dog not the type to protect one's home? ( looking around the room as if trying to see if the dog will come out at the sound of tsurumaru's voice but alas, they are not that lucky. normally a pet will come to a familiar voice but perhaps nero's own is making it difficult. well, when she had her lion that's how it went about.

drawing a circle on the paper with a black marker ( the yellow one had been set down so it gives tsurumaru more to color, this good ol' teamwork ), she draws five squiggly lines as if making a sun and pointing at it for the other to color inside of and trace over the lines. this will be teamwork in all honesty but this image is to represent the selling of the young boy on a hot summer day. )

I am equally a resident, my upbringing had been caused by the event of my master being allowed to live here. ( there's a wide smile on her features as she begins to draw stick people — a rough draft of what's to come — she begins to draw them box-like clothes. ) So we shall be housemates it seems.

Well... she's still just a puppy, see? We've only had her for about a month or so, so she isn't defending anything yet.

[ nero's instructions are simple enough, so tsurumaru will start coloring what he assumes to be a sun bright yellow, while she goes on to draw stick figures. look at them, being pure and coloring together, using teamwork to finish these illustrations.

In the meantime, he's gonna make a face at Hijikata, and then he's going to look around the apartment and make a face at the appliances. The Face is kind of puzzled but mostly it's called that because it just makes him look stupid.

and even if the rest of that sounds ambiguous, tsurumaru knows heisuke's name — if only because heisuke himself had pronounced his own name in such earnest, hoping that his sword would also have a tsukumogami, but alas! it's only kondou, hijikata, and okita that enjoy that privilege so far.

SO HAH, NERO. he continues on coloring, picking up the crayon color that nero indicates before filling in any recently-drawn spots. ]
