[ The truth is that Hyoubu Kyousuke doesn't interfere all that often in The Children's lives. Most of the time, he hovers at a distance, concealing his presence, and simply observes them at work. The Queen must have the opportunity to grow into her power, after all. Exposure to danger is an essential part of that.
This is not one of those times. This is a different sort of danger. It's a Danger he's been stalking in the Danger's sleep, and at the moment, has even accompanied the Danger for a middle-of-the night bathroom break. And now he's looming behind the Danger, while he washes his hands (points for that, ok), drifting up until he becomes visible in the mirror, when the Danger looks up. ]

I really don't understand. That Minamoto guy isn't even here, so how's his feelings on this relevant at all? What's the matter with friends living together?
[He quickly tuned back to the matter at hand though, beginning to look a little hurt. He would've thought his "gayness" would be plenty relevant, if Hyoubu had been concerned about hormonal teenagers sharing close quarters, but the esper was making it sound like some unknown guy who had some obvious significance to the girls would disapprove of his presence anyway. It was kind of irrational, but he started to wonder if it was just specifically him. Hyoubu knew he wasn't exactly... normal. Inhuman. Unpredictable with his powers. He wouldn't blame him for his caution, really, but, well, the perceived distrust still hurt]
