[ sword mafia at home. ]
Some time inbetween end of intro and interlude
Kaguya, immortal mystic of Tale of the Bamboo Cutter fame had never felt a greater collection of Tsukumogami; until this city, she had never had the pleasure of meeting one. She was fascinated, but mostly she just enjoyed that mere proximity to the apartments made her feel a little like she was in the mystic realm again.
Just walking in was rude, surely, but the door was unlocked and no one had answered her timid knock (probably because no one could hear it jesus). So have a ornately dressed Mystic that looks like she stepped out of a Heian-era portrait or something loitering around the entryway, wide-eyed and looking a little lost. Nervously she twists her sakaki wand in her hands and looks around; maybe she should just...leave.... and try again another day??]

Hey! Did you come to say hi?
[Apparently he's used to people just showing up, since he doesn't seem surprised or offended by her sudden appearance at all... It happens!
He also holds the plate in his hand out toward her, which has a small array of chestnut wagashi on it.]
Want one?

The offer of sweets gets a surprised look and she hesitates a moment before reaching out to take one.] Is it alright...? [But clearly it must be if he's offering-- he wouldn't give her things that weren't his to give, right?? She nibbles on it and lights up in delight.]
Thank you very much, Lord Kiyomitsu. [Im sorry did you tell her not to call you that bc there she go...] I hope I ma not disturbing the household by showing up unannounced. Lord Cao Pi informed me you lived above, and I wished to see everyone.

It's fine! We really like guests here so you can basically stop by whenever and people will still be super happy to see you. [That isn't even an exaggeration, considering what crazy hours some of their guests appear at...]
And it's just Kashuu! Or Kiyomitsu, either's fine. That's way too formal for me. [Just a sword, gosh! He will correct Kaguya every time until she accepts being the exact opposite of formal.] How's the wagashi, anyway? It's from my faaavorite cafe in the whole city.
no subject
(Something like, "I'm not that manly to marry a sword!" or something like that)
Ah, Kaguya misses her. At least Kashuu isn't insisting on calling her "Kaguchin" or himself 'Kashuu-chin" or something. Yet.]
They are very delicious! I ave still been trying to find my way around the city, so I am afraid I have not had much time to explore everything it has to offer. There are so many different foods and clothes that I've never seen before. I can not keep it all straight yet.

It's fine, it's fine! I mean, you're like, waaay above me on the totem pole, y'know? I should be the one saying stuff like that to you! [Says Kashuu without actually having any intention of doing so... He's respectful but look, he doesn't even call Mikazuki "Mikazuki-san".
But he'll brighten right up at that! Heck yes, his good food picks.]
Glad you like 'em! If you want, I can show you around. I've been here for a long time so I know aaall about where to get stuff. Especially food! [He makes a vague sweeping gesture toward the kitchen and then points toward the table set up in the living room.]
Anyway, wanna sit down while you wait for more people?
no subject
I hope you had no trouble finding it? [ It's probably noisy enough to find from nearby -- ] If no one has yet, shall I give you the grand tour?
no subject
It is truly wonderful to see you again. I would love a tour, if it will not disturb the other residents. It seems to be a very lively group here; it feels a little like home. [Her smile turns wistful, nostalgic-- she really did miss both the Mystic Realm and the noisy army]

I'm sure it won't, aha. Everyone is busy doing their own thing so have no worries regarding our tour, My Lady. [ He's gotten used to and fond of calling her that but will try to use her name so it's not too impersonal between them. He already considers them friends. Now to start the tour! Apartment 1, room 1. ] All the layouts are essentially identical it's just the residents that change from one floor to the next.
The first bedroom is the Saniwa's room, then next to it on this floor is my own and Tsurumaru's. [ He pauses halfway through his touring. ] This reminds me, have you met any other tsukumogami since arriving?

The drawback of being immortal is that things can become so boring after a while. [She trails off, a bit sadly, because she hates that so many of them turn to mischief to alleviate their boredom.
LOOKING AT YOU DA JIShe folds her hands in front of her and nods] I have met Lord Kiyomitsu and Lord Hakata. But I have not been able to meet any others, so far.
no subject
I'm glad you've met them and I do hope you meet more soon. There's quite the gathering here, a few swords that were crafted by my same smith and things such as that. [ He wants to say there were more before but doesn't see the point.
So instead, he'll opt to show Kaguya a more full view of his room. It's about what you would expect of a Heian era sword such as Mikazuki to have. On his side of the room at least, it's all decorated in royal blues and golds, several trinkets and accessories laid out in front of a vanity mirror. The only real thing that stands out is the messy corner of his desk where there's several pieces of parchments and a well used calligraphy brush. Of course, a well worn tea set is present too. ]
It's not much but please make yourself feel at home whenever you stop by my room at the very least, Lady Kaguya.

... Hello, miss. Are you here to visit someone?
no subject
Forgive me, my lord. I did not mean to be in the way. I was told by Lord Cao Pi that the tsukumogami live up here, and I was eager to meet you all.
I hope I am not a disturbance...?
no subject
No... you're not disturbing us at all. Many of us like having visitors coming over.
[With how many of them are around, it's natural for them to make friends in this place. Which means lots of visitors.]
