Aw, that's not a prize....

[ He pouts, but rolls over so that they an both get up properly. Before Koumei can ask what a grandpa sword could wat enough to interrupt a man's nap, Imano holds up a colorful magazine. Actually, it's a Cybuddy catalog that's pretending to be a cute magazine. Who cares though, it has pretty photos of robot animals.

Take a guess what Imano wants, Koumei. ]

Oh....so you'd like a pet?

[Koumei chuckled, and resisted the urge to pat the Tantou on the head. While Imano looked to be little more than a child, he knew how often it was that spirits didn't look anything close to their age.]

It sounds like it could be interesting. What sort of pet are you looking for?

A bird!

[ That shouldn't be too surprising, Imano's fringe is conveniently styled like a bird'swing. There's also his small size like one. ]

I don't know what kind I'd want more specifically, but I'm sure the Cybuddy shop has a nice variety~

They did indeed have a nice variety when I was looking. That's how I found Hatoha, after all.

[ No judging from Ima about Koumei's bird tastes. He likes any kind! Even the flightless penguins, which he saw that one time Donut accidentally picked an animal documentary on the TV instead of a war documentary. He totally liked it, but Ima won't tell. Also, penguins remind him of CCP and their sharp attire. ]

I think I either want a songbird, or a small raptor!

[ Those are very different birds, Imano. One is the kind Fishy might try to eat, while the other kind might try to eat Fishy. ]

There's a very big difference between a songbird and a hawk-- you do realize that the latter is likely bigger than you, don't you?

Sparrowhawks are smaller than me!

I guess the thing I like about them is how gracefully they fly though... Not good in an apartment, huh. Songbird it is, there's a kind that's really pretty, it's called a white-eye.

A white-eye? I think I know what you're talking about-- is it a small, green bird? With gray feathers on it's chest?

Yeah! Hopefully the store will have something that's close to them~

Well, there's know way we can know unless we try, [Koumei said, trying to find a way to stand up with the pile of arms and legs that were still clinging to him.]

No, no. I believe having only one bird in this nest of foxes is temptation enough for Naki and Kogi's friends, [he explained with an amused smile, finally detangling himself just enough to stand.]

I know Koumei-kun likes to go the bookstores, but does he like anywhere else? This place does have everything a person could want, almost...

[It takes some effort to keep up-- and Koumei was nothing short of impressed at the speed Imano could travel at in his geta. Walking normally must have been difficult, but running?]

....Mister Koumei works at the teashop to bring in a few extra credits for our budget, [he replied, mimicking Imano's curious speech pattern.] Otherwise, he likes to visit the gardens or nap on the sofa with everyone's pets.
