I was thinking more like a normal fish, or a bird or something. Maybe a little puppy?

Apparently people who don't monitor their spending; I've seen a number of rocks with eyes glued to them being sold in novelty shops.

[But, seriously. Who has the money for that when you can just make one-- if you even wanted one.]

I think perhaps a small sparrow might be best. The most damage it can be trained to do is ruining someone's shirt.

[Because you know Donut would probably train a dog to follow him into battle...]

That's good, too. I'm not sure if he'd like a little bird as much as a dog, but maybe we could just get him a puppy cybuddy that doesn't get bigger or something so he'd have to play nice.

But you do have a point. The smaller warriors tend to be the most fearsome.

I would hate to be in his way if he decides to take action. The sweet ones tend to be the most dangerous as well.

Yep! Him and Sayo - they're both tantou. [THE ONLY ONES STILL AROUND. He loves them both but he sure does miss Midare sometimes.]

Some things are, unfortunately, universal.

Just like how I suspect that this Fishy may have some sense. There are stories of ancient dragons who may still live in my world, among other inhuman beasts who have intelligence. It might be wise to try our luck in understanding Fishy before we do anything rash.

As if I would, Kashuu. Some of us in this apartment aren't as foolish as the others.

[Were it Kogi or Kouha, they would have gotten bitten-- but Koumei intended to approach this in the manner of a diplomat and scientist.
