![]() Welcome to CERES Research Tower’s latest event! For all you new folk queuing outside of the conference room where you were just made to sit through a lovely power point presentation, you will be asked to stay a bit longer and test out some games in their Game Testing Center. It’s a giant space located in the basement level filled to the brim with cubicles for everyone to sit in and enjoy their newest array of pop-up games. The games themselves will be in holo(gm) form and will feature suggestions from CEO’s post, including a simplified, 8-bit version of Tetris, Baseball, Soda Smash, etc. Characters can control the game through moving their fingers and tapping them against the holo(gm) screens. Surrounding the cubicles will be tables of food and more food for characters to partake in. It’s all safe this time. No mind-altering candy corn or gut-exploding Knight Burgers. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy the party. For those who have been in Cerealia for a while, they should have received an invitation to the event and an offer of 1,000 credits just for participating. So come on down and bring a friend or ten! Meanwhile, CEO has a small welcome for everyone-

Welcome to CEREALIA's latest event and intro post AND OUR VERY FIRST OVERFLOW. For your convenience, we have compiled a post detailing what's going on right here and feel free to consult the FAQ if needed. Please leave any lingering questions in the OOC post, and we'll answer them as soon as we can. If this post goes into overflow, we will make a new one to deal with the ever-hated captcha! Worry not! |

Then she must be really good! It sure doesn't look messy to me now.
[ Well he means it—like so many other things, as a matter of fact—but it's really nice to know that someone's taking care of even the littlest things for Lily. ]
no subject
[She wishes she was here, she would have a lot of fun...she's sure.]
You have nice hair too!
no subject
That's 'cause I'm a hairdresser! Is she one, too?
[ Why is she so cute. He could listen to her all day. ]
no subject
Uh-huh! I like it...the stick in it is pretty too.
[Yeah, she just called it a stick, Koujaku.]
Hair...dresser? We're Baskervilles...
What's a hairdresser? Do you dress hair?
[The mental image of this...is weird for Lily.]
no subject
Yeah, kinda. [ He doesn't mind calling it a stick in the least, though his hand rushes up to the pin anyway, in a gesture of "oh, this old thing?"
He's flattered. Unduly. But flattered all the same. He pulls the pin out. ]
I could dress your hair up real nice, maybe… [ He leans in and holds the pin up to her hair. ]
A stick's a good start.
no subject
Oh... [Watching him, she's curious out the stick it is pretty...she wonders why he wears it still though.
When he pulls it out she makes a small move, as if to stop him but she stops herself instead.
Blushing a little more, she grips the hem of her top.]
Really?
no subject
Yeah, really. [ He sticks that pin back into his ponytail and offers her a hand, palm up, like a gentleman. ]
You could probably tell I was lying, anyway. [ Kids know how to call a womanizer's bullshit pretty well. ]
Uh, not that I am, or anything. It's just my job.
no subject
Lying? How were you lying?
[She looks so confused right now...then again she is almost always straightforward with things.]
Hairdressing...means you have to lie?
no subject
Hairdressing means I can make you look even prettier than you already do. [ You could almost imagine him winking at the camera with a shine to his teeth. ]
Hell, I'd never lie about how pretty you are. You don't have to be shy about it, y'know?
no subject
Oh...I'm not used to people saying I'm pretty.
[It was honest.]
I'll never get bigger than this so...I've been called cute or little?
no subject
Yeah, I could go with that, too. [ But they're obvious. And he's not sure he wants to know about her not getting bigger than that. It sounds frightfully personal. ]
As long as it doesn't bother you, anyway.
no subject
T-Though you can call me anything...you want. [Nothing mean but cute or beautiful was fine with Lily. Quit charming her!]
I don't mind!
no subject
I…think I'll stick with "Lily" for now. [ How long have they been arguing semantics, anyway? How long before he realizes that he hasn't turned off his swag yet?? Nobody should ever want to find out. ]
no subject
Okay! ... [She stares at him for a little bit. Hmmmm.]
Lily will call you Jaku then! Your name is long...
no subject
Yeah? I think I really like the sound of "Jaku," Lily. [ Besides, he can't even say "Baskerville" so this makes things so much easier. ]
no subject
You do? I like it too! [They both found a good way in this.]
