What: It started with a goat. Then it all just went downhill from there. AKA Rise Kujikawa and the mysterious memories event.

[It started with a goat. Honestly, at first she thought that she'd dreamed it, that maybe it was just an extension of the white feathers she saw in her dreams recently but no. She wakes up and there sure is a wispy little goat at the foot of her bed. She stares…and the goat bleats flatly at her. It's a sad-looking thing, but as she tries to get closer it seems to disappear immediately.

Wow. That's weird.]

A.) is for Academy

[It's a normal school day. With everyone back from the dead and her worries a little more at ease, she can concentrate a little easier. It's quiet in the Study Hall period of the day and she's working on some homework when she spots the goat out of the corner of her eye…approaching a wastebasket. She hasn't realized it can't change much of the world around them, but she'll get that memo as soon as she gets up and stealthily tries to approach the animal.

Of course, the goat suddenly moves and it startles her and her arms suddenly pinwheel as she yells, trying to balance on her high heels so she doesn't bite the dust. Are you going to catch her? Let her fall? Fall with her? Sorry about all of that.]

B.) is for Bad Places Rise Shouldn't Wander

[This goat is seriously way more trouble than it's worth. She's not sure where it came from or why it's in such poor condition, but she's taken to following it around the colony to make sure it doesn't get too far out of her sight. It's for that reason she doesn't even realize she winds up right in the middle of the Pleasure District. The goat's paused, and if it's possible it gives her a knowing look despite its lack of real expression.

(Is it possible that this goat knows about her dungeon?)

She ends up in a staring contest with the goat, narrowing her eyes when she realizes she's standing in front of a love hotel.]

Don't even think about it. [She sure was talking to the goat, but it's not that hard to overhear her.]

C.) is for Cafe

[Everything is exhausting. She's sprawled over a chair almost ungracefully and that goat hovers around near her feet, but at least its not moving. On occasion, she'll be writing neat lines in a notebook and sipping her tea, though she frowning in concentration. There's an extra chair at her table though. Feel free to ask if you can join her or even be nosy about what she's doing, she won't mind.

On the other hand, if you're a friend or even someone she recognizes, she'll look up and smile brightly before pushing the chair out with her foot.]

D.) is for Dancing Games

[Sometimes Rise likes to play games. Sometimes Rise likes to use the game station to practice and when she gets bored of dancing in her room this is the next best thing. However, she's found at the game center today in front of one of the dancing games, and as she watches the colorful arrows fall across the screen she's continually missing and whines in frustration.]

Ugh, come on! This should be really easy! [And it would be…if she actually remembered how to dance. It's like all memories and coordination have left her and she's left trying really hard to fix that. Help her? Challenge her? Question her?]

E.) is for Everything Else!

[If you want to run into her while she's out shopping, at work as a model/karaoke star/tofu connoisseur, or if housemates want to do apartment shenanigans here you go!]

[Sulla is pretty sure she's going crazy.]

[At least, that's what it feels like when she looks at that ghost bird following her. She knows that this colony is known for hallucinations, weird things, ghosts, even - but seeing it there, making pitiful little noises at her, doesn't make the pill easier to swallow. It can't affect the world around it, she's figured that much out, but... She wants to help it, desperately. Yet, it stays wispy, just out of reach.]

[She's only been in this school two weeks, not even that, and yet it seems like the worst waste of time. Nobody's enthusiastic, she's really not learning much she didn't already know on her own, and... Well, she has no idea how to make friends. During study hall, at least, she can work on her own projects: her robot prototypes, sketches of new parts done meticulously on graph paper, waiting for when she finds a machinist to custom-make her some of those parts to build. There are a few sketches of CyBuddy internals in there, too; she has to catch up on her work.]

[But she's not one to let people hurt in favor of work, so when Rise squawks and starts falling all over herself, Sulla's there in an instant to swing out an arm and catch her right around the shoulders like she weighs nothing. Heels, in a place like this??]

Ohmigod are you okay-- Wait... [Sulla looks to where Rise's eyes had been cast, just above the floor... And belatedly lets go. Whoops, almost forgot she was holding this girl she doesn't even know.] Those birds. I mean, this is probably crazy, but, uh. Do you have one, too?

[Ankh, meanwhile, is here on purpose, but only for the sake of exploring. This district is one he doesn't have much personal interest in, so it's one he didn't immediately get to wandering around much, but, well, he's here now. And inwardly scoffing at it a bit, because it's about as full of desires as he might have predicted. Humans are very predictable creatures sometimes.

The words he overhears catch him a bit by surprise, though, especially when he glances over and she's talking to... not him. Or anyone else. There's just empty space there where she's glaring. So don't mind the random guy off to the side replying with a slightly amused scoff.]

[spending several days with a godawful, horrible, evil bug means taking it easy for a little while. best way to do so is by playing so games, games that aren't vivid of course. games are fun, enjoyable and relaxing.

well, maybe not for the person voicing currently voicing their frustrations with a dance game. ah, if it isn't rise! always a pleasure to run into her. flynn watches and is impressed... by how bad she is, wow. those sure moves are something special...]

[Let's be honest, Sulla probably wouldn't be the first to think that. Rise's in school just for routine and it makes the most sense to her, plus it allows her to meet more people. This, however, was probably not the way she really wanted to meet people because she's suddenly in the grip of another girl. At least she manages to catch herself and stand upright by the time Sulla lets go of her shoulders, nodding and shuffling just a bit.]

I'm fine! Sorry, that was just--[Wait, maybe she doesn't have to make an excuse because Sulla's staring in the same spot as she is.] Birds? I haven't seen any birds today, no. But you have...? [Great, are there really multiple ghost-like animals running around? Thank you, Cerealia.]

[stahn just so happens to be strolling in the cafe; he had the intent of coming in to bring back something for leon but... truthfully? he's forgotten exactly what it was he wanted to buy.

(what was leon's favorite again? it's weird that he can't remember.)

but whatever, it's fine. his head will whip around, and his expression will shift from mildly baffled to a friendly smile.]

Oh, hey, Rise! [this is fine, he's definitely got time to take a breather and hang with a friend.]

Yeah, like a... Like it's made of mist, or smoke, or something. [Rise won't hear it, but Sulla's dove makes a little chirping noise; she wonders if it's happy to be acknowledged.]

[Either way, she scoots back a little, giving Rise and herself both some personal space after catching her.] I just thought, since you were looking at, or seeing something, that... I-I'm sorry! It's really none of my business, is it? [A nervous little laugh as Sulla scratches her own arm, as though there's an itch there. (There isn't; it's just a nervous habit.)]

[Well that's embarrassing. She's not sure which is actually worse, the fact that she looks like she's talking to herself, or the fact that she's doing so in a place like this. So she smiles instead, immediately playing it off and twirling away from the goat.]

Not exactly! I was...rehearsing! [That sounds good. That sounds real great because it's a lot easier than "I followed a goat here."] Is that bad?

[He raises an eyebrow at her. Rehearsing for what, exactly, in the middle of a street in the pleasure district? But at the same time, he doesn't really care one way or the other, so he just sort of shrugs and keeps walking.

Unfortunately for him, he is also about to walk straight into an invisible goat.]

[FLYNN....oh no why did you have to see her like this??? The song ends and basically announces just how much she stinks at this game and she's pouting when she turns to face Flynn again. She recognized his voice at least and she does her best to smile even though she still looks pretty put out.]

Are you always this nice? [And that goat's busy just sort of standing at the edge of the game machine. It's not entirely caring about the fact that Flynn's standing there.]

[It's even better that it's Stahn, really. Stahn has quickly become one of her favorite people in the colony and it's always nice that he humors her. The goat, thankfully, is still under the table.]

[Aside from feeling like he needs to get his eyes checked for seeing things, Johnny's day has been fairly uneventful. He's still exploring new shops and though there's no one from home, there's a few familiar faces from his last ViViD experience. The girl from the castle- Rise, that was her name, right? was sitting haphazardly in her chair over at one of the cafe tables.

Johnny's a little uncertain about wheeling right up to her, but after she looks up and smiles, it seems kind of rude to just leave. He grips the wheels and spins the last few feet over.]

Brought my own chair.

[His humor always seems to fall flat. Well, at least she knew why he didn't get up and follow her out back at the sandcastle.]

It was Rise, right? I didn't really get to um. Say thank you, for the map and all.

I have some time! I was going to bring some sweets home with me, but... I'm still not sure what to get, so it can wait.

[Poor thing. Rise's not sure what to do with Sulla's nerves other than try to ease them, and as she lets her ramble an explanation she's still staring at the goat as it hobbles around the wastebasket again to try and peer into it.]

It's a goat. [That's all she says at first before looking back up at Sulla with wide eyes.] I didn't know there were birds, too. [Or that other people were experiencing it? Both of those. The problem, of course, is that the goat's now facing Sulla as well.] When did you start seeing it? [And try as she might she still doesn't actually see this bird, or hear it.]

[Suddenly a lot of things make more sense about her first meeting with him in that sand castle. But despite the fact there's a slight bit of sympathy (not to mention sort of cringing that she didn't even think he wouldn't follow her because he couldn't) she's more focused on the fact that he made it out and seems to have settled into the colony. So she slouches just enough in her chair to wrap her foot around the leg of the spare one, pushing it out of the way to give him room.]

Never hurts to come prepared, does it? [It's okay, Johnny, she'll take it all in stride.] Good to see you again, Johnny. You don't have to thank me for that, I'm just glad you made it out of there okay! The place was a mess before the castle fell apart. [The goat, unfortunately, has taken an interest in Johnny and his chair and slowly limps up to it from its place by Rise's feet. It's not quite touching it yet though.] Did you find who you were looking for? [She had tried to look, but with her own friends showing up and then...the crazy happenstance of her friends disappearing it was also sort of a mess.]

[Poor, puddingless Leon...even if Rise doesn't see the fox the goat bleats unhappily at the newcomers. Rise's eyes widen in alarm for a moment before remembering that Stahn probably can't see it. She's quick to smile again instead to cover it up.]

They have some really good new cake pops they started setting out. Chocolate and strawberry ones! I was going to pick some up to take home for my friends later. [And her smile fades just a bit to something a little more perplexed.] It's been a pretty weird day.

[Look nobody said it was a great excuse, but she tried. She's pretty happy with the fact that he's going to let her off the hook, but it's about then it's too little too late and all she can do is--]

Hey wait a minute! [Nope. Nope the goat had tried to move out of the way but it's walking too slowly with its sad limp and it's just enough for Ankh to brush right against it.

It's probably confusing, considering one minute they're having an awkward conversation outside of a love hotel and the next they're in what looks like a secret laboratory base. A robot-like figure hovers in the air and attacks a boy with silver hair wielding a two-handed sword and a few others with what looks like spells, and Rise's in a corner of the battle field with a golden band over her eyes, Himiko behind her as she calls out battle strategies and helps to revive the party. Not far there's also another blue-haired figure that the robot vaguely resembles.

Just like that though the memory fades and Ankh's vision clears to reveal Rise still standing there with her hands up, trying to stop an invisible force even as they slowly lower to her sides.]

...um. [That's all she says. She'd say "are you okay" but she doesn't know what just happened, so "um" it is for now.]

[As for Rock Lee, he has been dealing with the sudden appearance of a cat that has been following him around. He perksk up once he hears the familiar voice, however, and he looks right towards the chair that has been pushed out!]

Rise-san!

[Rock Lee proceeds to leap into the air and lands standing on the chair, which he proceeds to sit on, as if this was a normal thing to do. He smiles at her.]

Have you been well?

[Wanna trade, buddy? Rise would prefer a cat. But you know what she's going to push back from the table just a bit once she realizes what Lee's doing, and when he lands...she claps. She actually applauds for him because this sure is a normal thing to do.]

Ten out of ten! [But she leans on the table again and continues on.] Things are starting to get a little more back to normal. I think we all have a few things to adjust to again. [And now with 100% more semi-corporeal animals!] Have you? I haven't seen you since the last meeting.

[ So you know who is actually here with a purpose? This girl. Of course, she's in disguise so it's difficult to tell that it's Inaba - considering that it's a rather intricate disguise, blonde wig, blue contacts, make up, the works. ]

Don't even think about what? [ Who are you talking to, Rise?? ]

[he doesn't really seem to notice, even if his fox seems to be edging warily towards where the goat is; it's slowly inching its way to that space, though stahn thinks little of it at this point.]

Strawberry cake pops... I've never had those; maybe I'll bring some home too to try later. [he's made chocolate ones with kashuu before, so it's not an unfamiliar concept.

but as rise shifts the topic, he'll tilt his head a bit.] ...You too? Aha... I was starting to wonder if it was just me.

[But Lee likes his feline friend! It reminds him of Lili, who acts as the cat's namesake!

Lee gives a bashful grin at her applause.]

Thank you!! Thank you very much, Rise-san!! [Then he simmers down a little, sitting very rigidly in his seat, but he leans his head forward as she addresses him.] I suppose that things have been getting back to normal. A-aside from that one recent incident! [Those disappearances...]

But I have endured. And I am very well right now! I am also now taking care of a very high-spirited cat!

[He wheels in and sets the brake, resting one elbow on the table in front of him. She seems just as at ease as the first time he met, and it's kind of... nice.]

Yeah, that was some kinda shitstorm.

[He's definitely not going to admit he might have caused the walls to start falling, nope.]

[As for her question, he supposed he'd been holding on to the hope that he might find Gyro. Or Hot Pants. Or hell, he'd even settle for Diego right about now, but none of them were anywhere in this new place. It left everything feeling disjointed.]
