What: Inaba pretty much goes NOTTO DISU SHITTO AGEN as she sees hallucinations of Taichi as well as finds that a certain dove is getting out of control, which ends up in people seeing some of her memories - embarrassing or otherwise - and losing them. Which leads to possible shenanigans.
Rating/Warning: PG-13; may contain slightly sexual content in some memories, but nothing explicit. Will change if and when necessary.

►►► OPTION A: HE'S LIKE A GHOST IN THE MACHINE ( ceres academy )

[ For those who attend the school, they might notice that she's a teacher now, rather than a student. Well, she has been ever since she turned eighteen rather recently. Besides, the school is a good way to gather information, and it's also a nice place to destress. It doesn't help that she has some invisible pet near her - like seriously, what the fuck - that's just flying for a few seconds and then walking, since it can't seem to fly very well. While she wants to help it, it seems that her hand just literally phases through each and every time that she does.

So that's not working out at all whatsoever.

But she'll figure something out. Letting out a rather ragged sigh, she goes right to the cafeteria to eat lunch, her bento next to her along with her laptop out, staring at her notes once again before closing it, sighing. It's been a rather tiresome couple of days and honestly? While she can say that she's used to it, she. . . can't say that she is, at the same time. It's almost been a full year since she got here, and that in itself is a rather scary surprise.

And it scares her. But she tries her best not to show it as she tries to wave down the nearest person. Until she notices who that person looks like-- ]

[ That's definitely not your name, is it? Unless it actually is, but she's probably mistaking you for another Taichi. ]

►►► OPTION B: I'M SEXY AND I KNOW IT ( vivid )

[ So, guess who's using ViViD today? She honestly wanted to see what would happen if she went in and lo and behold, her wispy dove is still. . . existing, apparently. That sure is A Thing. Of course, the level she ended up going into was one of the more, let's just say it's embarrassing, okay? It's a dating sim.

Of course, normally she'd go to the pleasure district for this, but this is way cheaper. Plus it's a two for the price of one thing. She can get points to get something from back home, train if the dating sim ends up dangerous (because let's be real here: it's going to end up dangerous), and then some.

So there's a bit of a good news, bad news to this deal. Good news? You're apparently taking the role of the protagonist. Of course that does not mean that you're dating Inaba -- unless you want to take that route, the options are there. Bad news? Logging out isn't an option until you clear a route, and when a set of options appear, you have to choose one. I mean, you can just choose neither, but you'll have to face some sort of consequence for that.

Congratulations.

For a bit of a bonus, you may or may not catch a glimpse of Inaba freaking out if and when the dove lands on you. That definitely was not a shriek you just heard. At all. ]

►►► OPTION C: SO YOU SAY YOU HAVE A SHRINE OF THOSE THINGS? ( pleasure district )

[ Being single and alone is hard. That is, if she were single. Not that Inaba actually remembers having a boyfriend at this point, no thanks to her annoying dove. But she can't seem to access her phone or her laptop, since she's forgotten the passwords for those, too. And that's just swell. But she isn't going to let that deter her. While she could ask for help from a hacker, she doesn't. . . really feel comfortable with people finding out her secrets; there's a chunkload of embarrassing stuff on those, after all, so she just opts on trying to figure it out herself.

Eventually she'll remember; at least, she's fairly certain that's the case, given the last time she lost her memories.

So if you're in the pleasure district, you might find her in one of the stores -- she seems to be looking for something, but what, exactly? Of course, she's in disguise, as she's wearing a blond, twintailed wig, blue contacts, and even a more girly style of dress; pinks instead of grays, a short mini skirt instead of pants. She's very fashion coordinated! Plus, she even has make up - eyeliner, mascara, the works - a dash of nice smelling perfume. Inaba almost never wears make-up. And when she does, it's very minimalist.

Like, ever. So that's probably enough to tell that this is, most likely another person.

Unless you're paying to the. . . finer details of things. The fact that she's in the Pleasure District. Her three sizes. And the sound of her voice when she says-- ]

[ She sounds so excited that her voice pitch is a bit higher than normal, so people who don't know her very well might not even realize that it's her. But what exactly is she talking about? She's talking about vibrators. She's buying vibrators in broad daylight, someone come and help this girl. Or you know, don't. Her dove might just bug you anyway with some random memory to grab your attention, even if it's not visible.

What a little shit. ]

[As Takeru wondered around the school, the boy couldn't help but notice that a few people have been acting weird. Of course, it doesn't help that he was acting the same way. Ever since he woke up, he had been seeing a certain person running around the place.

However, every single time he looked directly at it, it always seemed to disappear. He wasn't seeing things was he? While he missed his mother, he was starting to wonder if she was here as well.

Although, when he heard the voice of someone nearby?]

Hm? Are you looking for Taichi-san? [Of course, it isn't the Taichi she was talking about but oh well]

Ah. . .

[ Inaba holds her hands up in the air apologetically, a strained smile on her face. Not this again, she tells herself as she shakes her head. ]

N-No, I just thought I saw someone I knew. It's a different Taichi. One that isn't here.

[Before Takeru could even ask her why, that's when it clicked. Which was why there was a small frown before he spoke up]

You too? Is this Taichi-san someone you knew back home?

[Was it her boyfriend or something? Either way, it didn't stop the boy from being worried]

[ Ding ding ding, we have a winner. On both fronts, actually. Inaba frowns a bit herself, but it doesn't last too long. ]

Yeah. He's the guy I've been going out with. Figures that I'd have to be seeing illusions of him again. So, who've you been seeing? If you... want to share.

I don't mind.

[While he shook his head, there was a pause on Takeru's end. He had no problem admitting who he saw, it hurt just to be reminded of who that person was]

...I saw my mom but I'm not sure if that was her. Every time I look at her, she just seemed to go away. But I wish she didn't, I miss her a lot.

[ It's okay. She understands completely, as she wears a small, strained smile. ]

Considering CERES, I want to say it isn't. . . you don't happen to have the application on the CEREVice that tells you when someone from your world has arrived, do you?

[As Takeru just stared at her, he nodded his head]

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I do! It's the one that Tadashi-san made right?

[With that, he quickly got his device before the older girl] You don't think she might be here do you?

Well, I usually use it to confirm if something's a hallucination or not.

[ And more likely than not, it tends to be. She hates it, but it isn't something that can be easily changed. ]

[ Ugh. Inaba hates dashing hopes and dreams. Especially of someone who's significantly younger than she is. Which is why she's going to take in a deep breath and crouch down to his height. ]

Sorry. That... seems to usually be the case. I know it sucks though. Trust me: I know almost better than anyone. I've been here all alone ever since I showed up, after all. It... hurts a lot, but we'll find a way back. I'm sure of it.

[As he listened to her words, he suddenly found himself feeling guilty. Here, he was lucky. At least he had his friends and his brother here with him.

But for Inaba? He wondered how lonely it must be all by herself for that long...]

But you're not lonely are you? Especially when you're all by yourself.

[ Inaba laughs a little, amber eyes gazing away. She really shouldn't be pushing this issue onto someone much younger than her, but she isn't going to lie about it either. ]

I've made friends here, but there are times where I feel lonely in spite of that. Because I'm the only one from my world here.

Then is there anything I can do to help? I'm not sure what I can but I don't want you feel alone.

[Especially when they were trapped here in Cerealia. After being here for so long, there were times when he wondered if he'll ever go home. However, that didn't mean he can't help some people out in the meantime]
