[Basically Yuri can be found all over, trying to ignore the goat trailing after her. It's weird and while she'd like to just stay a hermit until it goes away, life has to happen. Things like grocery shopping and doing her actual priestess job.

The goat trails after her with puppy-dog (goat???) eyes and Yuri gives it uneasy looks as she goes about her day. Unfortunate, even she loses control of the spirit-goat once in a while, which means people might get some... unfortunate memories. Sorry guys. And thanks to the nature of Yuri's abilities, she'll be perfectly aware of just what memories people are seeing. Fuck.]

[A: "I thought I'd be afraid of death, but..."]

[Memory # 1 for you lucky folks is a big fixture of Yuri's life: her first suicide attempt. (0:30-1:17). Thankfully, this memory doesn't end there and continues with Hisoka rescuing her at the last minute. (51:38-52:06)]

[B: "I know I'll remember you."]

[The first assignment Yuri ever accepted on her own was locating a missing person who had wandered onto Mt. Hikami. While she hadn't originally intended to accept, Fuyuhi, the requester, wandered onto the mountain herself to look for her friend. Yuri couldn't let her go off on her own, and so went in search of her to bring her back to safety.

It hadn't ended well. (34:55-35:55 you can skip the boss battle if you want, but the memory will continue with 40:10-41:45). So you get a memory within a memory too, with Yuri first using her mitori abilities here too. Fun times. And hmm that priestess outfit sure looks familiar... Doesn't it look just like the outfit Yuri wears for work??

[Actually what IS up with those priestesses and the priestess outfit Yuri wears? Turns out a memory within a memory (5:30-6:35) will explain that one. Though of course your character is free to misunderstand and assume it's Yuri's actual memories of an event.

Well okay, no it won't explain much at all, but hey! Who doesn't want a little trauma to start off their day?]

[And last but not least on the trauma train: hat time Yuri tried to commit suicide again (40:43-42:25) though to be fair she was... sort of in a trance? Either way, Miu saved her. Touching moment up until the drowned woman in the wedding kimono attacked them and all. Good times.]

[Want a cute memory that'll most likely embarrass Yuri rather than traumatize your character? (Or maybe it'll traumatize your character anyhow, they're kinda mushy). Feel free to choose cuddling with Lee on her couch or holding hands and cheek kisses in the hospital.

Lili never thought she'd deal with experiencing cuddling against Lee but that sure did just happen. There's a moment of shock and confusion that takes a while to pass - though when she's back to herself she meets Yuri's eyes and blinks once. Twice. Her brain is still taking a while to catch up.]

That's-- [She feels a little dizzy coming out of it, acutely aware of what memory Lili had accessed. She's not sure what to say in response to that. "Welcome to my world"?] That happens. [Is what she lamely finishes with, throwing an aggravated look to the goat that got her into this mess in the first place.

He treasures you. Yuri whips her head back around, eyes going wide and face turning red.] ...Yeah, I know. I... treasure him too. [It's a little embarrassing to admit outloud to someone else, but, there she go.]

...Though, that implies he's been talking about me to other people...

[She'll be straight up about that? Well, Lili's almost infuriatingly blunt all the time, but she wants the other girl's expression anyway. Hm. Yeah, it's definitely a crush.]

[It's not the first time Ankh has accidentally walked into someone else's memory. He freezes, the memory playing out, and for a second when he's released from it his eyes are wide and he glances around like he's not quite sure where he is - but it only takes a second for him to get that under control.

And that was some memory... but ultimately, being used to this kind of thing happening at this point, he doesn't have anything to say about it. So here, have a stranger seeing that memory and then walking off with little more than a glance in the direction of the memory's owner.]

Hey-- [Yuri's not really sure what to make of this. On one hand if he wants to walk off and pretend he saw nothing, she's not too inclined to stop him. On the other hand, it's a little weird to not say anything and Yuri finds herself shifting uncomfortably.]

[He pauses when she speaks. The question is a little odd considering most people don't seem to have any idea what he might have seen, and he glances back at her, only mildly curious.]

( Though they met only briefly during Soleil's initial arrival, she immediately recognizes Yuri. She is still determined to make up for her embarrassing first impression, so she makes a beeline for the girl, intent on making up for looking like a airheaded klutz.

But as she gets closer, a scene plays out in her head--something shocking and traumatic that brings her to a halt: cuddling with a guy?! Randomly fantasizing about cuddling is normal for her, but not when bowlcut-headed dudes are involved.

She puts a hand to her forehead. )

I...may be coming down with something. That must be it...

[Yuri hesitates-- on one hand, it doesn't appear that Soleil seems to know what happened and Yuri's not sure if she wants to draw attention to it. On the other hand she doesn't feel so great herself and she makes a noise of agreement as the world sways around her.

She stumbles a moment and rests her hands on her knees, taking a breath.]

Are you-- Are you okay? [Yuri are you really the one that should be asking that??]

( Soleil steps forward as she worries Yuri is going to faint or fall over. The weird scene that she just experienced is put out of mind for the moment. )

[When the vision hits Rei, she'd just been walking up to greet her new friend. And it hit her hard. Her whole body tensed up, going rigid and alert at the feeling of the water around her ankles. It was only a memory, she rationally knew, but it was an uncomfortable feeling. A mental invasion, in a sense, and a violation of someone else's privacy.

And it all comes to a head with the spirit rising out of the water. Rei knows what's going on, but she can't control herself. She yelps and slams her foot down hard on the ground, jarring herself out of the trance.]

Heavens! Onryō?!

[The vertigo hits immediately once the memory is broken, sinking to her knees against her will.

Actually, sitting here would be pretty nice she's just gonna chill here a minute please hold.]

Not-- Not exactly. [At least, not in the sense that she was getting vengeance, exactly. Maybe? She shakes her head and fights off a wave of nausea, irritated that these symptoms were hitting her all of a sudden.

It was the soul animal goat thing's fault, she knew, but she still felt a little guilty as she looked up at Rei.] ...I'm sorry.

[Rei staggers over and drops to her knees beside Yuri, staring at her more out of concern for her current well-being than because of the memory. She's a little surprised at that, and her gut instinct is that this somehow hurt her new friend.]

No...it's okay. Are you alright?!

[ It's not the first time he's seen someone's memories, so it's not a total shock to him, but separating himself from them is the problem. He's seen the aftermath of a massacre before, walked in on the tail end of it and could have very easily become another casualty. He's watched the entire thing unfold through Itachi's Tsukiyomi twice, reliving the entirety of it over and over again in a scant few seconds made to feel like 72 hours on repeat. He saw it all play out again through Itachi's eyes as his brother showed him the missing details of that night before his spirit finally moved on.

He's no stranger to massacre, but it's never quite been like this.

It almost looks like a bridal party being ambushed and slaughtered, innocent lives snuffed out, corpses desecrated, but for what? All he has to go on is the single sentence, "Don't look at me", which is probably of importance, but he doesn't understand why, or even how it is he's seeing this... unless it's something like the problem he's been encountering with memories resurfacing after coming into contact with anything warm to the touch.

Except he's pretty sure he hasn't touched anything. He'd know if he did!

The suddenness with which it comes on it catches him off guard, making his steps falter, and if not for a speedy recovery, he'd have stumbled right into the girl. That might have been bad, since he's pretty sure she's not a block of ice, which means he'd have gotten an unwanted double dose of the memory game. ]

[ It's an automatic apology, not really heartfelt, probably not even all that sincere, though slightly strained. Just a word to say 'I acknowledge your presence that I almost plowed into', but at least it's something, right? ]

[Yuri puts her hands out-- to steady him, or herself? Who knows, because it's not really needed when he rights himself.

She blinks, trying to get the world to stop spinning so fast around her. She closes her eyes--no bad idea, worst idea, that makes it worse and she takes a step back, forcing herself to stay upright.

She recognizes him--they talked on the network.] Sasuke-san, right? [So he saw... Ah. A confusing memory, short and bitter as it was. She glances down and away, then back at him]

It's... fine. You saw-- That memory, right...?

[This is what he gets for wanting to check up on a friend...!!

That is - it's not that Kashuu is unused to dark and corrupted spirits, or that he isn't aware of what they can do. But even in his own circle of experience, those creatures don't aim for human life directly. Not usually. Something overtly malicious, something that aims to destroy in a much more simple and visceral way, isn't usual for him at all.

Not to mention the memory-in-a-memory thing is confusing, and he finds himself lost and struggling to parse what's happening through the feelings of fear and loss. It's awful and disorienting, and he finds himself taking a stumbling step back when he's returned to his senses after the memory ends.

HI, YURI. Give him a second to reorient himself-- He's still blinking rapidly and looking more than a little lost and residually fearful.]

[Sharing memories is annoying enough, but the vertigo that hits every time afterwards is ten times worse.

She can't tell for a moment if the fear Kashuu's experiencing if from the memory itself (likely) or directed towards her a little, so she stands still and rests her hands on her knees as she tries to get the world to right itself again.]

Kashuu, I... [She trails off, not sure what to say. Where does one go after that?] Are you... alright? [It feels stupid to ask and she hates that she did without thinking. Of course he's not alright. How could he be?]

[Have a blushing and bowing Hinata, Yuri. The goat got to her. Honestly, though she thinks it's sweet? Because Lee deserved to be happy and she thought Yuri was incredibly nice. She might be too shy to talk to her most of the time, but Yuri was someone she had a lot of respect for. Lee was important because of the things they had been through together. He was Neji's best friend and someone she cared for deeply. The happiness she felt for the two of them was overwhelming.]

Please forgive me, Yuri-chan.

I-- Uh. [Is Neji going to kill her for traumatizing his poor cousin? ???? Despite her nausea, Yuri sneaks a glance at the surrounding trees, half-expecting the boy to drop down and rain death from above or something.

She looks back Hinata and shakes her head slowly.] Hinata-san, I'm the one who should apologize... I didn't mean to-- I mean... I'm sorry you had to see that. [Her face slowly turns red as she goes on, thinking over the memory Hinata'd seen.]

[It sounds incredibly childish and idiotic and it should have been some sort of apology but Neji's busy trying to make heads or tails of this new-- vision. Memory. Gods, he knows it's a memory, but it seemed to have passed much differently than the other one. The obvious reason being that he hadn't even noticed Yuri was so close-by but he'd done a hell of a great job at keeping all body parts to himself even in this semi-busy crossing. Hadn't that been a requirement for her powers to work, or act up? Touch?

The bird's new to him. It's skittish and distrusting and fast, and has so far kept itself out of trouble though Neji hadn't planned on making it suffer the city noises and lights for long. He'd just been heading back to the apartment but now

now he had the imagine of blood in his head, again. It'd been a staple of his life for years, he could let it slide like water off a duck's back, but this wasn't his. He doesn't hesitate, but he sure does feel like he's winding up for a confession.] Yuri- you could see it as well, couldn't you? Was I supposed to see that?

[Yuri sways on the spot and stumbles a little, planting her feet firmly to keep from collapsing.]

I-- [Questions, questions he was asking her questions. She fought to concentrate and squinted at him a little] I could see, but-- It wasn't me. I mean, it was my memory, but I didn't do this.

I don't know what's going on. I don't get like this after I use that ability. [This feeling like everything's spinning and she feels a little ill. Ugh. End her.]

[ It isn't exactly what he expects to happen in the middle of a grocery aisle, honestly. He'd just needed to pick up a few things so he was sorted for making dinner when the goat knocks into him and the memory takes hold. He hasn't even had the chance to see her close by, so it's a surprise when he realises this memory belongs to Yuri.

After what happened in the prison it's easy enough to see what's happening here. What this other girl is doing to keep her safe. He doesn't really know or understand the burden she's placed on herself, but when the memory finally stops he blinks a few times, immediately trying to look for her.

He hasn't actually seen her since, even if they've texted a little, but it's actually nice to see her a few days later (well, since their revival, it's even more if you factor in before death)

Hopefully it isn't insensitive when he says: ]

She's right, you know. You weren't alone. [ Hell, they all fucking died there tbh

Meanwhile he own fox is starting to dart under her trolley, peeking up at her from behind a wheel. It seems uncertain of whether to move forward just yet though, so she has some time to deal with the repercussions of this first. ]

[This is what she gets for going out in public, she decides. She should just give into her loner tendencies and become a hermit now, but nooo she just had to pick up eggs. Who needed eggs? She could just stick to eating rice and bread for the rest of her life. That'd be fine, right?

She holds onto the shelves in front of her and bows her head, staring a hole in the floor as she struggles with the after-effects here. This isn't her own power's doing, she knows that much- she ever feels like this after that, and the memory had started when the goat...

She turns her head to search of it, sitting nearby looking all the world like it hasn't totally played a hand in trying to ruin Yuri's day. But then there's Merlin's voice and she looks up, squinting slightly. What was--

Yuri frowns and slowly straightens, crossing her arms over her chest in a sort of half-hug and shifts her weight uncomfortably.] At the time I was. [It had been suffocating and her face is almost haunted as she remembers.] It wasn't until I came here that I really started to accept other people. It was hard-- it still it.
