[ Otome has been cautious. Whenever she'd considered contacting both Hiro and Saiduq, something else had happened, her workload had increased, she'd seen more memories that weren't hers that she'd never expected to, and had completely forgotten how buttons worked at some point-- among other things. She could have done without the Return of Nausea and Vertigo's Revenge, given the choice.

But things have settled, hopefully for longer than a couple of days, and now she's got both of her friends from home in her living room (yes, the door is attached where it belongs), looking between the two of them. ]

Did either of you two know anyone else who disappeared during that time?

Mm...a handful, yes. Hiro Hamada, Chibi, Kashuu Kiyomitsu, Touka Kirishima. However, I have yet to contact them directly regarding the matter of their disappearances.

[ As for why? Well...just their safety was enough for him, and some of them were suffering from side effects, so to speak, so they needed some recovery time, most likely. ]

Ditto. I know Mini Me and I've met Chibi before. Then there's Athena, Naoki and Viridi. I haven't really poked too many people on what happened.

[No doubt CERES was up to their old tricks again. He did talk with Viridi for a bit, but also wanted to hear Otome's side of the story.]

Viridi was in my group, and I had a chance to meet Kashuu after he came over to check on Lili... I was wondering if there was some sort of meaning as to who was called or pulled into this, but so far, there doesn't seem to be a clear pattern.

... Except maybe for my group.

But no, we were all called to the earth shrine. One of the other girls used what looked to be earth-based abilities, and so did Viridi. It's a bit of a stretch, but my zodiac sign corresponds to earth, and I'm not sure about Trowa or our other member.

Earth-aligned individuals called to the earth shrine...that seems like a plausible link. Of course, whether this hypothesis holds water depends on the elemental alignments of the other two. Still, it is a line of thought worth chasing down.

[ Perhaps they should make inquiries as to other groups as well, seeing if they had anything in common. ]

Huh... That's interesting. Reminds me of the time that I got separated with a bunch of people in that volcano. We had to chase down a fire fox into an abandoned village place. There wasn't anything important that I found beyond that...

[And going by what Otome said, Hiro had to guess that everyone was a fire type back then. If there's a trend going on, then that would mean that the people who disappeared were put into groups depending on their zodiac sign.

We were actually told not to mention that god's name when we were down there.
