Who: Takeru Takaishi (and Patamon) and you!
When: 8/1
Where: Anywhere!
What: After 3 years, Takeru is slowly trying to remember about this place and getting use to whatever Cerealia has for him! And failing to write a story too! And maybe a question to ask everyone.
Rating/Warning: Nope!
A - Making my way downtown
[It had been one weird, weird day for Takeru. After suddenly reappearing in his world, he had to wonder if everything he thought of was merely a dream. Even when he told his mom, she told him that such things didn't exist. But then again, a lot of his friends thought he was making things up. So surely, there was no way that such things like Cerealia was ever truly real right? On top of that, after a previous conversation, a part of him also had to wonder if everything back home was real too.
Either way, it didn't stop him from living the past 3 years as if nothing ever happened. After finding himself back in the Digital World and rescuing Hikari, the last thing he would ever expect was to come straight back here! However, here he was now! As soon as the familiar slide show was over, all he could do was sigh. What was a 10 year old boy to do now?
Why go around a familiarize himself with his surroundings and catching up with everyone he knew, of course! Staring straight into his CereVice, he wanted to pay close attention and see just where he was going. Too bad he wasn't looking what was actually in front of him.
One might see Takeru randomly bumping into walls, lamp posts and maybe even you too!]
B - The joys of writer's block
[After spending the some time in Cerealia, Takeru was slowly starting to get the hang of this place. And what better way for him to ease his way into this new lifestyle than for him to begin his new writing adventure here? Of course, that was a lot easier said than done.
As he sat under a tree, one could see scraps of paper around him. With a small pout, he was determined to write something! But it seems as if his muse was nowhere to be seen! If one should look at those paper, there were a bunch of stories written out! One could be a mystery that involved a missing item, another would even be about a princess, or maybe another would be about Cerealia itself!
Either way, all Takeru could do was give a loud sigh.]
You've got to be kidding me....
C - Writing on them networks
[As Takeru looked at his device, he debated if he should ask. But if it was bothering him for a while, it was probably best to ask anyway]
There's something that has been bothering me lately. I remember a long time ago, someone mentioned to me that when we go back home, there's a chance that it might not even be real.
I don't think so but its been a while since I've even been here. I'm not even sure if that's true anymore.
D - Wildcard!
[Anything goes here! If you got something else in mind, let me know! My plurk is Rosemotifs!]

However, when he looked up to see how it was, he couldn't help but narrow his eyes just a bit]
Kind of. I wanted to write a story but no matter what I think of, it always turns out bad. It's really bothering me!
no subject
Inspiration's a fickle mistress.
What kind of story were you going for?
[He reaches into his bag and pulls out an apple, which he promptly takes a bite of and plops his rear down across from the boy.]
no subject
[He said with a sheepish smile. Although, the more he kept looking at Darin, the more he could have sworn he saw him somewhere before.
But the problem was, he just couldn't put his finger on him just yet]
What about you? You got any ideas that I could write about?
no subject
I mean, look at it this way...we're all from different worlds, right? And here we are, brought to a futuristic colony to fight...space monsters or something. Why not write a compilation of stories about the people here?
no subject
[All the while he gave Darin a quick chuckle!]
I know I wrote a story about my friends going off in an adventure to save the world from an evil wizard! I'll just need to think of something else!
[And him low key trolling everyone probably]
no subject
Wait, you left?!
no subject
It's weird how time works here.
[Now Takeru's memories were starting to flair up. He knows who he is, why can't he remember his name?]
no subject
For...For three years?
[Darin looks like he just got suckerpunched. What the hell could that even mean? How was that possible?! And for that matter, what did it mean for his world?]
no subject
...That's what I really hope.
[Because he just wasn't sure anymore]
no subject
What makes you think you didn't go home?
no subject
[But then there was an even longer pause] But we don't even know if Cerealia said about our world was even true.
no subject
When you were there, did the thought of it not being home and maybe just an illusion ever cross your mind? Or did the doubts start when you came back here?
no subject
Maybe when I went back home. I heard of people coming and going back home when I was here but I never thought too much about it.
It did seem too good to be true when I saw Patamon again.
no subject
If it felt real to you, then it was real. All your friends and family were happy to see you right?
Don't sweat the small stuff. If it seems real, then it probably is. And count yourself lucky you had the chance to go back in the first place. Because now you're living proof that we've all got some hope!
no subject
Yeah, you're right. I shouldn't be worrying about this should I? And especially when I got a chance to see my friends and family again. But I do feel a little bit guilty that I had that chance and not a lot of people did!
But it's still kind of strange to come back here after so many years. It's definitely a strange experience!
[Then suddenly, the name pop up! Which was why Takeru couldn't help but stare at Darin rather oddly.]
no subject
[It's around this time, Darin notices the strange look.]
...What? What do I have something on my face again?
[...Again?]
no subject
Let me guess, your name is Darin isn't it? Do you remember a long time ago when I wanted to make posters for you? And especially because I wanted to find a way to make your brother happy too?
no subject
no subject
Darin-san, do you remember somebody named Takeru Takaishi? [Pause] Because I am him.
no subject
Wait.
You're...?
[He holds his hand up to indicate Takeru's previous height.]
[Then he leans in and narrows his eyes.]
... ... ...
HOLY CRAP, IT'S REALLY YOU!!
no subject
Something tells him he's going to have to get use to seeing those reactions on other people.]
Are you that surprised? I don't think I've changed that much!
[Even though he grew up to be 5'2 in 3 years!]
no subject
Look at you!
Where's your friend...? Pata...Padawan...?
no subject
[Patamon shouted from behind Takeru!]
I was wondering if you suddenly forgot about me too!
no subject
[Just your name. DETAILS.]
So, you seriously went home for three whole years? That's great, man! You're proof that it can be done!
no subject
[Ahahaha...ha..ha..haaaa....]
I wonder what for though.
