Training Day!
Who: Anyone!
When: August 3rd
Where: The CERES Gym
What: Training Day has finally arrived! Rock Lee has invited everyone to work out together on this day!
Rating/Warning: PG-ish??? I dunno let me know if it should go up at some point
[Welcome to Training Day! Rock Lee has pulled all of the strings that he can to make the gym into the biggest and most cohesive workout environment that it can be for the day, and he's prepared so many attractions for anyone who will come on this day! He's set up all kinds of obnoxious advertisements for this day, too. Whenever someone enters, they will be offered to select their own green jumpsuit to keep from a pile of jumpsuits in a variety of sizes, and then they'll be set loose into the wilderness of the gym...
-The Warm-up Room!!: One of the initial areas in the gym has been made into this. Many weights and training mats are set up, along with a track around the room. Rock Lee has videos of himself playing around the room, which try to instruct everyone in hot-blooded exercises! But, even though there's warm-ups, Rock Lee seems to be asking for sets of push-ups, sit-ups, laps and different weight sizes that are pretty extremely high... Will you try to slack off despite the shouting recording, or will you push yourself past your limits?!
-The Area for Senseis and Students to Establish Bonds of Youth!!: One lounge area has been converted to almost look like a convention space. Anyone who claims to be able to teach anything will get their own table and a sign that they can make and display. You can even set up treats to lure people in! Essentially, prospective students can roam freely around the area and try to speak to these different teachers to figure out if they want to learn from any of them! Go out there, and find your student, or your sensei! (Oh, and there's also a table where anyone can sign up to help out the volunteer forces!)
-Speed Sparring!!: One corner of the rooms have an area set up to be a sparring ring. People are randomly sent into that ring and given five minutes to spar, to either pin the other down or force them out of the ring! Go ahead and give it a try. You never know if you'll find your one true rival!
-The Obstacle Course of Hot-Blooded Youth!!!! Rock Lee must really have called in a lot of favors to construct this monstrosity in one of the larger areas of the gym. It's a giant, sprawling obstacle course made out of a combination of ropes, various exercise machines and training weights, leading into the gym's rock-climbing area. There's tight ropes to walk, barriers to climb, sets of treadmills to run against, maybe even with ninja warrior-esque set-ups... if it can conceivably fit into a room, it might be there! Just watch out, because those technology glitches are coming into effect here, too; some of the treadmills will be coming to sudden stops, while some weight-loading machines may die down just in time to send a number of weights rolling your way! Prepare for even the most unexpected of obstacles...!
-The Pool of Youthful Springtime Refreshment!!: It's a pool. And nothing weird has been done to it by Lee! It's a perfect place to get away from the insanity, except that someone else already beat you to the idea: a bunch of the alien NPCs are already there swimming laps in the pool! WIll you defy them, try to play outside of the pool, try to huddle into the hot tub instead, or slink back to the horrors of Training Day in defeat? Good luck, young warriors!!
And even more beyond that! There's also some target ranges and sparring dummies to work with as well (Disclaimer: some sparring dummies are mechanical and may fight back!) You can feel free to make up your own attraction set up by your character too if it's conceivably possible!
And of course, Rock Lee himself is here. He'll always be here, popping up when you least expect it to provide a thumbs up and words of optimism! (Unless anyone is extremely against it, he may pop in and out of random threads between other characters occasionally as a non sequitur!)]

[A wooden training sword follows, tossed onto the floor, and here comes the mechanical dummy, advancing toward him, also with a practice sword. Edgeworth is slowly pulling himself up onto his feet...
So yeah. Help him, or see what he does next?]

The air suddenly seemed frosty around the two of them, but it could have just been the AC kicking in above them.]
How about you give this man a break? This was supposed to be a friendly Training Day!

[Unfortunately Edgeworth is still testing his feet to see if he sprained an ankle or got hurt in the fall. Luckily for him, all he'll get are bruises.
The dummy is one of the malfunctioning ones; it does a jig in place without actually attacking as if it heard some imaginary music, and Edgeworth just stares in shock at this turn of events.]
ALWAYS AND FOREVER FELICIA IS TERRIBLE AND WILL BAFFLE EDGEWORTH
[Felicia called back, squaring her stance in the battle position she had been taught before.]
Just take care of yourself, let me--
[--Except, it seemed she wouldn't need to, since it started doing a jig for no reason at all.
Moving quickly, Felicia ran toward the dapper man and grabbed his arm to help him up.]
I dunno what it's doing, but it might be broken-- and that'll be trouble for us. Can you stand, or do you need me to heal you first?
Edgeworth always needs more baffling people in his life
Edgeworth allows Felicia to help pull him into a standing position.]
It's probably malfunctioning, yes. And no...I think I'm fine. [He places his full weight on one foot, and then the other, to be sure. At least he's in shape to run in case the dummy had enough of its little jig.]
Good! Glad to oblige!
Instead of running now, she just cast him a befuddled look.]
Do you think we should run and report it, or stop it somehow before it tries to hurt someone else?

[His voice trails off when he sees the dummy suddenly stop with a click of its heels. It gives a flamboyant bow...and rushes toward the two of them with its wooden practice sword.
Edgeworth gasps. How inconvenient - he didn't have his real sword right now. Nonetheless, he gets ready with the only weapon he has.]

[She reacted on instinct, hurling one of her daggers straight at the dummy. Snow flurries seemed to follow the arc of the blade-- and she cast the stranger a worried look.]
I'm better at fighting mages, not swordsmen, [she confessed, looking embarrassed.] And I don't know if my Hexing Rod will help.
We...I think we've got trouble, unless you're good with that sword.

I can use it, but I doubt it'll stop the training dummy!
[He glances over the dummy's shoulder as he places himself beside Felicia, raising the wooden sword in anticipation of an attack.]
My saber is in a locker room...we could try to lead it there! [Edgeworth cranes his neck toward that general direction. It's thankfully not far.]

[Turning without another notice, Felicia followed the cue and took off in the direction of the locker room with surprising speed for a young woman in heels. She made to grab onto Edgeworth's arm as she bowled passed, not wanting to lose her friend and only protector in this mess.
Hope you can keep up.]

The dummy's head swivels to the right and to the left, then spins on its neck like something out of a horror movie before striding after its opponents.
Oh, and by the way, it's the men's locker room. Your call if you want to accidentally peer inside, Felicia.]

You're sure it's in here? [She asked, warily glancing around for any sign of the horrifying combat dummy. Naked men be damned, taking out that crazy machine was way more important!!!]

[Cue several of those naked men screaming like little girls as the dummy plows into the locker room after Edgeworth and Felicia. Forget the fact that there's a girl inside, there's a homicidal training dummy on the loose! And it's already searching for its prey.
Edgeworth reaches out for a combination lock and twists it this way and that. The door opens with a click, he tosses the lock aside, and draws forth a saber in its sheath. Then he pulls the blade out, the steel glistening like a beacon of hope.
It's at that moment the dummy finally lumbers into view, waving its practice sword hysterically and with a pair of underwear on its head.]

She reached for one of the wooden rods she carried with her from Gods only knew where in her little bag, and focused on the magic imbued within the item.]
Good! This--this should help!
[And she cast the spell that the item carried, a Hex that would weaken the Dummy for a short while.]
I don't know how long that's going to last here, so please hurry!

[Edgeworth motions for Felicia to get behind him, while he steps forward, saber in hand. The dummy continues to teeter their way, slowed down enough that its movements are jerky and delayed.
It's now or never. He raises his blade and strikes the dummy.]
Take that!
[The slash across its chest causes it to short-circuit, and a second cut does in the rest of the machinery. Finally, the dummy clatters to the floor.]

That was impressive! [She cried, clapping softly in a show of her delight at the display.] How long have you been training with the sword, sir? I'm sure there would be plenty here who would love to spar with you!

More than a year, and I thank you for your assistance. [He bows elegantly.] I wouldn't have been able to stop that dummy quickly without your help.
