Eiji's been having fainting spells lately, ever since the implants first started shorting out. He knows this, and he's promised to stay away from heights until they resolve themselves.
But the problem is, the safest way he can get to work is by crossing the sky bridges.
As soon as he notices the vertigo start, he starts reaching out, trying to find a wall to grab onto. But it's happening too fast, and he drops before he can completely catch himself--he's slumped over the edge of the wall, losing consciousness, and he definitely needs help.

If you're in the gardens at any point, you might see Eiji frantically stomping out small fires around him.
Unfortunately, that only seems to promote it. Seems like someone isn't used to his element flaring up like this.
"Stop, stop! Just stop, please!"
As the grass and flowers start burning more, he looks desperately for anyone to help.
"Water, please? Someone? I promise, I'm not trying to do this, I just want to put it out!"
3. Closed to Ankh
He's used to nightmares, as much as he hates to admit it. Most of the time, he can deal with them, even if he wakes up in the middle of the night.
A dream so good that he wakes up crying? That's new, and he buries his face into a pillow, hoping he doesn't wake up Ankh and have to explain himself.
How exactly would he explain it?

"It really is nice, Ankh. Thanks."

Gavina, meanwhile has finished her meal and flies back to her perch on Ankh's chair, but she diverts to drop a leftover piece of meat onto Eiji's lap on the way there. Whatever that means.
no subject
"...Is that supposed to be good or bad?"
He's looking at you, Ankh, as bird-translator.
no subject
"How should I know?"
He looks back at Gavina, who is sitting up on top of his chair, acting as if nothing strange at all just happened.
no subject
"Thanks?"
May as well give it a shot. Worse that'll happen is she drops another piece of raw meat on him.

Ankh still honestly isn't sure whether she was trying to feed him or make a mess, but he's just going to hope it's the former and that maybe she's being less ridiculous about dealing with him now.
no subject
He's going to try to really discreetly get rid of that chunk of meat while asking, "So, was there anything you wanted to do?"
no subject
"Not really." It's not like either of them actually knows what to do to relax.
no subject
No, they're terrible at it, and Eiji stops for a minute to think. After all, if Ankh's the one who needs a break this time, then he really should figure out what might help.
"Hey, has Gavina ever been out hunting before?"
no subject
"Probably not." Unless she had wherever she came from originally. Up until now she's been stuck at the zoo here. "What would she hunt, though? It's not like there are any animals around here." Unless robots and some murderous fish count.
no subject
"We can probably set something up. I mean, I don't want the candroids getting hurt, but if maybe they can hide some of her food around, she can try to catch it. It would keep her skills sharp."
no subject
So then the question is where, exactly, if they're trying to avoid people, too.
no subject
It's nice when Eiji has these smart moments.
no subject
"Let's try it." He gets up, offering his arm as a perch. "Come on, Gavina."
She easily takes that cue. Who knows if she has any clue where they're going, but she can figure it out when they get there.
