A. School after hours - ota plus sign language buddies!

[ So after helping the art class with their things, Shigeru is definitely going to the empty classroom he was able to reserve to finally start setting up for the sign language lessons. He's not sure if it should be called a club, but he did mention it to everyone in his art class so hopefully some students would join in as well. Either way he'll send a text to all the people would responded to the first inquiry and even sends a mass one out to the entire population, in case anyone is still interested. ]

There's going to be the first sign language meeting today, so if anyone has time to stop by the school we can just do simple introductions to start! It's in classroom 301, and I will be waiting at the front of the school to help people find their way!

[ Because it's pretty impromptu, he knows, but it's now or never right? ]

B. Marketplace - ota

[ Where ever you are throughout the week you might see strange shit happening all over the place, Shigeru is not an exception. He went to the marketplace to get notebooks for the sign language club and upon immediately touching a stack of books they literally got covered in flowers and vines?! Oh my lord, what, what did he do?! Oh god this is more ceres shenanigans isn't it?! He just hides his face as he rushes out of the store, hoping no one saw that.

But he definitely doesn't go unnoticed because he's literally leaving a trail of grass behind him as he rushes down the street. Regardless of the foundation of the floor grass and cute little flowers will pop up from where ever he steps. He's getting anxious as everyone stops to look at him. Uh, he doesn't like it when people stare. Why won't they stop, why is he doing this?! There's a pleading look in his eye as he just freezes in the middle of the sidewalk, hands gripping the hem of his shirt as the grass just grows the longer he stands there. But he can't control it?! What's he supposed to do?! His eyes shut instinctively as he remains rooted to the ground. Stop staring, stop staring, stop staring!

It's making everything worse, please help him... ]

C. Gardens - ota

[ You would think after that fiasco he wouldn't be anywhere near this place, but this is probably the one place that he isn't considered weird for making flowers and things grow. So he'll just be wandering around, lightly tapping spots in the garden that seem to have missing flora. He'll take up his pencil, which is promptly covered in a greenish moss and his drawing pad and he'll just sketch whatever flowers and plants he creates. There's been such a wide variety that he's getting good practice with this. ]

[When Mabel saw the note, there was no way she was going to miss this! After all, she did make a promise that she would show up anyway! What kind of friend would she be if she didn't even go? That and with her brother gone, she really could use a distraction right now.

So without another moment to lose, she made her way to the school! Should Shigeru look around, he'll happen to see one Mabel Pines coming right at him!

Especially with her glittery sweater on too.]

[ The glittery sweater alerts him right away to Mabel, whom he gives a big smile to and waves. He'll type something on his cerevice for when she gets a bit closer. ]

Mabel, hello! I'm glad you could make it! Do you need some help getting to the classroom? I can show you the way, if you want!

[When Mabel read the message before her, she couldn't help but giggle!]

I would like that! You're definitely quite the gentlemen, aren't you? But you know, we better get to the classroom as soon as we can! I did promise you that I would decorate the entire room and make more people come didn't I?

[Said the girl who may or may have something planned! Especially with all those bags that she's not doing a very good job at hiding either!]

[ Oh! Right she did say that last time. Ah, well, he doesn't mind the help. Shigeru could use all the help he could get. ]

Yes you did say that. I really appreciate the help! What sort of decorations were you thinking of using?

[ Promptly at the listed time, Togo arrives at room 301. Thank god this school has an elevator. ]

I'm here for the sign language meeting.

[ Ah. She's definitely a new face but Shigeru will wave at her in a cheerful manner all the same. ]

You've come to the right place then! We're just waiting for more people to arrive so you can just get situated and then we'll start! What's your name?

Mimori Togo. I'm interested in learning sign language as... a precaution, I guess.

[Shigeru looks like he needs a rescue, and Eiji's just the one for the job. He walks over and tries to get his attention, signing.]

[ Eiji please halp. He looks like he's about to cry when he finally opens his eyes long enough to nod to the other. Please make them stop staring as the flowers and grass growing around his feet. ]

[He stops for a second and realizes he doesn't know the sign for "fire," so he quickly types it, adding:]

[ Not that she hadn't shown up to the first meeting... she had, and she'd done her best paying attention and trying to learn. How much stuck or not is a matter of reaffirming and the repetition she's done to herself later on.

Enough for her to sign hello when she sees a familiar face in the gardens. She has her raincoat on, hood up as a light summer rain drizzles down in an odd sort of sphere around her. She's been trying to think of positive applications for raining everywhere. Watering the flowers, lawn, trees... even the fountains seems like more use than creating rainslicks in the apartments and on the streets.

... and while she might sign hello, she does end up asking from two meters away (so as not to rain on him): ]

What're you doing? Drawing the flowers?

[ Oh! He definitely knows Chihiro by appearance alone now, so he gives her a small wave and a signed 'hello' back. He nods at her question before turning to show her the picture he's currently working on. He's careful in picking up his cerevice, getting grass to grow on it before had really...shaken him up. There's also signs of him bleeding underneath his gloves too. While the effects happening around them weren't severe, Shigeru's mysophobia was still ever present. Touching things and making grass and plants grow from stuff wasn't really helping matters in those regards. It's just made his ocd flare up even more then usual.

In fact he looks a bit more drained and tired then usual. ]

There's lots of different ones here I've never seen before. Katsuitiga doesn't have plants like this. So I wanted to draw and catalogue them for my own collection.

[ She doesn't catch any sign of the bleeding until she's closer — and squinting. By then, she has to pause, making sure she doesn't get too close. She doesn't want to start raining on him, after all. It's unlikely that'll help anything. ]

You're a good artist. That looks just like the flower.

[ He also looks tired in a way she's getting used to seeing in the faces of those around her. Even for those around the city as a whole. These are troubling times, and she feels like she's been sliding along unsure of what to expect in all of this. ]

Katsuitiga is where you're from?

[ She debates on whether or not she should mention how tired he looks... can she get away being that blunt? It's a worrying debate, but he's been generally okay, so... maybe. ]

B time to set them on fire

[Sayo's been staying outside of the apartments ever since the flickering flames start to appear. But at one point, he wander over towards the marketplace. Almost cautiously so, expecting things around him to start burning.

He blinks when he sees a man standing there, surrounded by growing plants. Sayo cautiously walks closer.

[ Oh! Yes he remembers you too. Sayo wasn't it? Shigeru looks anything but okay, his eyes ticking back and forth between the people stopping to stare and those whispering as they walk by. He really doesn't like this, so unconsciously he shakes his head 'no' in response. ]

but the plants are bothering him

[He glances at the people looking at Shigeru. He looks back at Shigeru, nodding in understanding. Sayo holds out a hand to him.]

Let's go somewhere else.

[ How can such a small fox be so stealthy as he starts to keep even pace with Shigeru, looking at the fancy, green-ish pencil and the drawing pad with the sketches? Staring down at the paper, he's taking looks up and down, comparing the drawings with the real things nearby. ]

Hm. I think if you added a fox, you would make the picture almost ten times better.

[ Uwah?! He didn't even notice you there! Kogi you're gonna give him a heart attack. Shigeru gives the other a sheepish grin before he looks back down at the drawing. A fox you say?! He can improvise that in. A few moments later and a sketch of a fox will be added to the picture among the plants already there.

He'll show Kogi and write something on his cerevice. ]

[ Shigeru needs to up his scouting stat, but then again... that probably wouldn't have helped him here. Maybe. ]

Ah, that is a good start! But you're going to need to add a few more in order to make Inari happy.

[ Still, he's a little confused why someone would be drawing all of these plants and flowers? As pretty as they are, it doesn't seem like something important at the time. ]

... you know, your pencil has gone green. Is it sick?

[ A joke, or just a question? No one may ever know. ]

[OF COURSE KASHUU SHOWS. He's gotta, after that display of encouragement from earlier... And he's actually curious and excited to learn (and lacking in things to actually do on a mundane daily basis, now that the city's kind of Struggling to exist as it had before), so he's there exactly on time.

He'll hold his phone out once he gets there, a message already typed on the screen.]

[ Oh Kashuu Shigeru looks pretty happy to see you here. He was just setting up the room for when everyone else arrives, so don't mind him...tidying it up with sanitary wipes and other cleaning things, ah... ]

[Naki is a little late for the class, to be honest, peeking in at the door at maybe fifteen minutes past whatever time had been set. Is it okay to enter? Are they allowed to talk if they're learning how to...not...or something.

[ Shigeru notices you there, Naki. How could he not after all a man and his fox are pretty hard to ignore. So he'll give a smile and a wave before he comes over to greet the other. ]

Hello Naki. I'm glad you could make it! We haven't really started learning too much, just some basic greetings for now. If you want you can sit where ever you like.
