( closed ) kara thrace
But then she finds something else. A familiar face, one that some time ago she perhaps would have found as concerning as being here. Now she finds it intriguing, and slightly comforting. It's unusual that one person, especially one she hasn't spent too much time with, would be comforting to her, but it's one familiar thing )
Lieutenant Thrace.
( After a moment she'd approached the bar, a curious expression on her face. Had this woman found herself here in the same manner? Had she only just arrived, or did she instinctively know where a bar was? )

[Kara mumbles to herself, pausing in wiping down the counter to look at the owner of the familiar voice behind her. Could it finally be someone from her world? Finally?
So she turns and takes in the image of the Cylon-woman before her, hair as platinum-blonde as ever, her air just as ethereal as ever.
It's Captain now, actually. [Kara finally finds the words to speak as her initial shock wears off. They haven't talked much, but she senses a profound desire to understand humans. Has it always been there?] Caprica Six... you're the first familiar face I've seen.
[And maybe it's her imagination, but she sounds almost hopeful.]

( At least from their world. No Cylon brethren, no other humans. At least from their world. Caprica had seen plenty of humans, even some robots and species that she'd never seen before as she'd traversed the city but this was the first familiar face.
Unless they were mistaken. The fleet, although smaller than the original human population, was still large in number. Neither of them knew everyone. But how much would they help? Colonial officers, or certain other Cylons would be the best to call on. For whatever- wherever this was all they had was each other.
If they wanted it )
Is it coincidence, or surprise that I should find you here?
( Leoben always had spoken of a destiny, but other events had transpired since then )

[Kara wonders that herself. She still has so many questions for home, much less here. Being brought back into Cerealia wasn't incredibly surprising; it had happened once, so it could happen again. But being brought back to life in their world before being brought back to Cerealia?
That was an entirely new experience.]
What's...when's the last thing you remember?

The Galactica.
( She'd spent a lot of time there, considering that she was confined to a small cell. Caprica didn't know that much about the goings on of the ship, but there had been a few things that she'd been able to learn. A few things that the crew hadn't been able to keep hidden )
There isn't much you can find out in a cell.
( And she totally doesn't sound bitter about that at all, even if she had predicted it coming by helping Athena back from the basestar )
