Turnabout Midlife Crisis
Who: Phoenix Wright and you!
When: The latter days of the event
Where: Around Cerealia!
What: Phoenix does dumb things while trying to seek that big adrenaline rush
Rating/Warning: None yet
[Phoenix has found himself increasingly restless this week, like he needs to do something. He imagines it might just be the stress from Mosley's choice. But regardless of the truth, he ends up setting out to take action in the latter days of the voting period.]
A.
[Phoenix has ended up at ye old motorcyle shop, where he's curiously sizing up the choices. He approaches one and tentatively fiddles with the handlebars.]
There's so many choices... Which one would be the best for me? [I just want to start riding already!]
B.
[Phoenix now has a motorcycle and he's ready to ride it around town! ...He still thinks to wear a helmet though.
But you can catch him trying to recklessly weave around traffic or through a closed down streett... and if you have a vehicle of your own, he'll start revving up his bike at the stop light as a challenge to a race.]
C.
[Motorcyclng isn't the only hobby he's now trying to pursue in search of that great adrenaline rush. So he's ended up in an alleyway, where he takes a moment to carefully survey the dumpster and other boxes littering it. Then he claps his hands together excitedly.]
Alright, this should be fun... Parkour!! [Phoenix hops off of one box to grab onto the side of the dumpster and carry himself up. ...Then he tries to run up the wall, only to fall right into the dumpster.]
D. Wildcard!
[Or run into him in some other context! He also has the elemental effect of randomly starting fires around him.]

[The girl at the entrance of the alleyway openly stares.]
You go to the trouble of creating a species that's supposed to be the absolute peak of all creation, and this is what you end up with.
This is so sad.

...That was just a practice run! That's all.

[Viridi pauses.]
It does change how much longer I'm going to stand here and stare at you, though. Continue.
no subject
And I bet it'll be really great if it works out! [Maybe that'll calm this restless feeling!]
no subject
[Somehow or another, Viridi has conjured up a bag of chips and she slowly snacks while staring blankly.]
Of all the ways to waste time, jumping into a dumpster must rank near the bottom. If not the very bottom.

[It's scary thinking of how high up I could go if I succeed... but I feel like I have to do something!]
no subject
Maybe try recreational power-walking. Or stamp collecting.

c!
Frisk is holding a metal pipe in their hand, which is disconcerting. But it's not nearly as disconcerting as watching a grown adult try and fail to run up a wall. They hang back at the entrance of the alleyway, carefully deliberating their choices, before. Just. Whatever. Stress and frustration or not, they might as well approach the dumpster.]
... Are you dead?
[Encouraging.]
no subject
...
That's a good question.
Phoenix groans, which provides is own answer, as he tries to climb his way out of the garbage. It sounded like a young voice that called out to him, so Phoenix tries to be lighthearted.]
The rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated!
no subject
[Now that they know they don't have to be concerned, they're... confused. Looks like Phoenix's attempt at being lighthearted and "in" with the kids failed. Sorry, but not sorry.]
You gonna be able to climb out? You're not... hurt, right?
no subject
[But as he tries to climb out, suddenly there's a cracking sound.]
Ow, my back!
let's play a game called: how late can i be to tagging back
[Frisk, please stop associating old people with back problems. Also, don't tell people they're old.]
Do you need help getting out? S'okay if you use my pipe as a cane.
B
H-Hey, watch where yer goin', would ya!
[ At least she still has enough energy to yell and be mad, but for how long? ]
no subject
Whoa - sorry sorry sorry! I... I guess I lot track of where I was going. Are you alright?
no subject
I — I'm fine! [ She didn't get hurt at least. And a beat, before: ] Sorry for botherin' ya.
[ Sapphire what it's the complete opposite. ]
no subject
Wait, what?! No matter how you look at it, there's no way that you're the one bothering me! [He steps off of the motorcycle as he looks at her.] Are you sure you're alright?
no subject
I said I'm fine! What're ya pushin' the question for! Don'tcha got other people to try 'n hit!
[ ... The only way she knows how to push people away is by yelling. ]
no subject
I'm just trying to make sure.
no subject
[ No need to be concerned with her, she's not even feeling too hot about herself right now, anyway. So she's not really seeing the reason to want to know if she's okay. ]

He catches sight of a familiar blue suit and wanders over, raising an eyebrow. Normally he wouldn't let this opportunity slip and bring out the bucket of snark, but today...he doesn't really feel like it.
Edgeworth points casually at the motorcycle Phoenix is fiddling with.]
Do you even know how to drive one of these, Wright?
no subject
Eheheh... Come on, Edgeworth! It can't be that much different than riding a bike. ...Could it?
no subject
He shakes his head slowly.]
Oh, it's very much different. Surely even you would notice. [He's looking at the motorcycle intently as if hoping Phoenix would follow his train of thought.]
no subject
W-well, I mean there's no peddles, and it'll definitely move faster than a bicycle. So, that may take some getting used to... But come on, Edgeworth! I bet it's no big deal.
no subject
If that's all you think there is, you shouldn't be given a license.
