[So Cerealia's falling apart, weather's invaded the city, Mosley's a robot, Naki's friends went on a murder spree while he was holed up in his room, etc etc....he's tired. He's not entirely sure why he's tired, after a week of doing nothing but mope (emotional exhaustion is still a foreign thing), but. What he knows is that he should get up, go out, do something, stop lying around. Maybe find something to cheer up the others? What would Ichi-nii like....]

[Naki's in his favorite fox coat, with a matching whiskered face mask, peeking in at various shops in the shopping district. Picking out a notepad at the stationary store! Perusing the snack aisle at...some place that sells snacks! Trying on a scary mask at a costume shop! Staring curiously at a toy store display of plastic jumping beans! Getting ushered out of a store with a NO PETS sign on the door!

But I'm not a pet...! [whines the fox around his neck, as he stares perplexedly at the door.]

[wild card? Shopping aside, he can also be found wandering around the gardens, feeding a carrot to the horse near the dojo, sitting by the street somewhere just watching people walk by...playing rhythm games on his cerevice, maybe.]

It is quite strange, I agree...none of these masks are quite to Nakigitsune's taste, despite the large variety.

That depends... The winter hats are starting to come out now and those ones are really fluffy and thick and nice. You'd probably look real cute in one!

True, the city hasn't been doing quite so well these days... [The stores, the restaurants, the npcs, the robots...they're kind of glad about the lack of robots though, to be honest.]

Right toward a really nice looking, high-end shop with the lights off inside! But clearly that won't be a problem, right? RIGHT.]

Hm... Let's see if we can find like, some employee entrance or something. I don't wanna break the windows.

[Implying he would if he had to, though.]

[Wow, what a nice-looking high-end shop! Naki looks up at the sign, down at the locked doors, around at the...ah, there's a passage over there! He points.]

This alley looks promising! [A pause from fox, as Naki tries to see if he can spot the fabled employee entrance from over here.]

Have you broken windows in other stores before, Kashuu-dono?

Only once! And it was only because it was a total emergency. Like, a super emergency.

[He needed a new jacket immediately?? He couldn't wait for a store to open!

Either way, Kashuu will look toward the alley too, and then gesture for Smaller Fox and Smallest Fox to follow along.]

If there's gonna be a door back here, it'll probably be near the dumpster. Employees don't like carrying big stinky bags of trash too far.

[An emergency...like a life or death emergency? Somehow despite how long they've known him the thought of a fashion emergency still doesn't come to mind.

But yes! They follow obediently along, fox sniffing warily for the dumpster (though considering it's an abandoned clothing store, there probably isn't much stinky stuff to smell). Is that the dumpster over there? It looks like there's a discarded sweater caught under the lid...]

[For the better... No one needs to remember how stupidly vain Kashuu can really be.

BUT YES, THERE'S THE DUMPSTER. Fortunately it isn't very stinky at all... It's mostly filled with old packaging from clothing shipments and other non-perishable items, so they don't have to deal with the rotten food stink.]

Ooh... There we go! There's the door. [Pointing to the left of the bin, where a door is! It seems like it has a security keypad, though...]

Ah, geez. Breaking a window might be easier than trying to crack this. [Kashuu no.]

[Peeeering at the keypad...Naki curiously pokes at the buttons as the fox looks around for the nearest window.]

Do you think there could be an already-opened window somewhere? We might not have to break anything, if we could find one.

[It'd be funny if random button pressing actually did the trick, but. Gotta search for other options!]

[Gesturing up and up! Near the roof overhand there are a series of windows presumably used to vent out the place and keep the natural lighting going for workers in the back. One has been left open...]

[Darn you rule of funny!! Only not really, because Naki didn't exactly expect that to work anyway. He and fox both look up and up towards wherever Kashuu's gesturing...High windows! Windows that look really hard to reach!

Naki turns his gaze back down again, then - after a moment's thought - stares at the dumpster.

...Fox turns to Kashuu instead.]

We should be able to reach it if we try! The dumpster on its own already gives us quite a bit of extra height. [But is it enough height?]

[This dumpster isn't even stinky or gross, but Kashuus will do as Kashuus do... Still, he can't think of any better way to get up there, so DUMPSTER STEPSTOOL IT IS.]

Mm, well - what if one of us stands on the dumpster and the other sits on their shoulders? Then whoever gets through the window first can just open the door.
