What: PARTY TIME. Well, a party so Rin can actually make friends since she secretly complains about not having any!

[Cooking for a large amount of people is what Archer was all about. Might as well call him the Chef Heroic Spirit instead of the Blacksmith Heroic Spirit. This guy was a complete pro in the kitchen and completely without complaint!

Tons of food, cake, and nachos and cheese and salsa (don't ask). Serving it was left up to Saber since she was still probably under punishment. Either way, she had to make up for her issues in some way!

So for everyone here, they just had to chill out and wait for Rin to return home. Which should be shortly if she's not trying to be an absolute brat. Which, admittedly, happens sometimes.]

Well, now you're just bragging! I mean, gimme some credit here, I'm still standing, ain't I? [ Act cool and fake it 'til you make it, Ryuko. Although she is slowly getting used to this numb-like feeling... but no way will she ever admit that it got to her head! ]

[ She really would have. That's kind of her thing Ryuko!! Still, Saber is filing a glass of water and handing it to the other girl. ]

Geez, ya sure are commanding for a servant... [ Drinks the water as she's told. It's probably for the best!! ]

[ She doesn't deny this in the least, she really is, but it's because she was a King in life! ]

Have you been introduced to Rin yet? [ Moving away from the topic of alcohol.. ]

Yeah. She's... quite something. What's the deal with her anyway?

[ That question gets a judgemental looking face from Saber. Rin is her Master, don't speak so rudely of her! But she relents after a moment or two. ]

She has never had many friends, from what I am told.

[ Ryuko can see why... ]

You're hoping that I become friends with her, aren't you? That's what this whole "party" is for.

[ Rude Ryuko! ]

It was Archer that organized the party. But yes, I invited you here to find out if you two were compatible.

Gee, thanks...

But y'know, even though you two are her servants or whatever, I'd say you're still close friends in some way. How is anybody here supposed to compete with the bond you have?

[ She hadn't meant for it to sound bad, but she's not good at this. ]

Our bond is that of a Master and a Servant. I swore my sword to her. I could never expect to be a close companion... [ No, she wishes she could be, but she knows better. ]

Hah. That’s a screwed up way of lookin’ at it. [ Ryuko doesn’t agree with that at all. If people and clothing can be friends, then there’s no reason why master and servant couldn’t be. Although, she has a feeling that they’re friends anyway, despite what they will say about it. ]

Sounds like you could use a friend, too, Saber.

"Screwed up?" In what way? [ She doesn't see how people being Master and Servant is a problem, she's used to it. ]

[ Ryuko's declaration makes her look a little surprised, her eyes wide. ] I am merely a Servant..

Just knock it off already. You can be whatever the hell the you want, but stop actin' like you ain't worth the time. [ That attitude just pisses her off. It doesn't matter who or what you are, there are always going to be people worrying about you, right Senketsu? ]

[ That makes Saber's eyes open a little wider. She's not used to hearing something like that. Maybe someone like Shirou might have said something similar, though not quite in the same manner. ]

I believe you misunderstand the relationship I have with Rin. [ Maybe relationship is a bad word. ] She is my Master, and I her Servant. I swore an oath to protect her.

I understand the oath part perfectly well. [ You've only said it a million times! ]

So how would you describe our relationship then? I'm not your master, after all.

Swearing oaths are an important aspect of knighthood.

[ She'll say it a million times more if she has to! But that question catches her a little off guard, her face looking a little less sure. ]

I do not know how you wish me to answer your question.

[dishonorstudent]

[ That is almost an answer in itself. ]

Forget it then. It must be the alcohol talking.

Wait, Ryuko.

[ Saber reaches to grab the other girl's arm, refusing to let her leave while she takes more time to think this over. ]

You appear honest. And trustworthy. If I were to get to know you better I would be able to answer your question as you would wish. [ She's trying to say that she wants to be friends, but she doesn't know how. ]

[ Ryuko was about to dismiss her and move on, not out of contempt or anything, but more that she doesn’t want to make Saber’s job tonight difficult. However, being grabbed like that snaps right back into their moment. It’s… surprising to see her like this. She has a firm grip for a servant maid, that’s for sure. ]

S-Saber… it ain’t about the answer I want, you don’t owe me anything, y’know? But… okay. [ She gets what she’s trying to say, and she’s not wrong. It wouldn’t be the worst thing if they got to know each other more. ]

[ She lets go not longer after, not wanting to hurt Ryuko, or upset her or anything. But she is glad that she managed to fix what she had said. ]

I owe you a debt for showing up here. And I will repay my debt to you.

If you would let me.

[dishonorstudent]

[ If only Saber knew that Ryuko's sole reason for coming here was for the free food, some of which she even gets to take home! But she seems so appreciative, Ryuko would be remiss to tell her the reality of it. ]

Repay.. me...? [ This is so unnecessary, yet she figures it means something to Saber. Must be a knight thing. ] Well, if it makes ya happy, sure... [ But how, she wonders. ]

[ Yeah that would probably color her opinion of Ryuko a little more, but her instincts are sharp, enough to have her guess that Ryuko is not a bad person, that she is someone worth knowing. As difficult as it may be for Saber to open up to others. ]

It is a knight's duty to pay his debts. [ Ignore that little thing of calling herself a male knight it's just what she does! ]

So you wanna do something for me only 'cause your duties dictate it. Charming.

[ She teases. Ryuko understands the sentiment, but Saber's way of phrasing things could use some practice! ]
