[ It's been about a week since Ryuko started the Ceres Juice gig. Management has said that she had the right "look" as an attendant, but her attitude could use some improvement. The trick to attracting customers is to always SMILE and make them feel SPECIAL. Of course, Ryuko would have none of that, as those sound more like job requirements for the Pleasure District... however, a girl needs to make ends meet somehow. How else is she going to buy that motorcycle?

With a clearly forced smile, Ryuko greets any patron that approaches the counter. ]

Welcome to Ceres Juice~! Where we do the hard juice, so you don't have to! ( What the hell does that even mean? ) ...Uh. What will it be today~?

[ Sometime later, in an hour when the Shopping District is less busy, Ryuko can be seen neglecting her duty and trying to catch some quick power naps at the counter. Senketsu, her talking uniform that only Ryuko can hear, is trying to keep her from falling asleep. He tells her that if she's having trouble staying awake, then she shouldn't stay up so late the night before. ]

Hnngh... gimme a break, Senketsu... it ain't like anyone's gonna see us...

[ To anyone who's oblivious about Senketsu, she looks like a crazy person just talking to her inanimate clothes. ]

[ Hooray, it's lunch break!! Now she can really slack off and not get in trouble by anyone. Her work ethics could use some brushing up, however, as she's sitting with her bum on the counter and back turned towards any customers. With a delicious McCeres Burger in hands, she's not letting anyone ruin her 30 minutes of paradise. ]

Go away. [ She takes another mouthful. ] Busy.

Well, I wouldn't wanna let a valued customer down. [ She begins preparing the blender. Now's the time to practice the art of conversing with the patrons, too! ] Y'know, I don't think I ever asked ya where your name comes from... Green Konoha Beast, whatever?

The Wild Green Beautiful Beast of Konoha! I'd be glad to explain everything! [He looks giddy now, too... just being called a valued customer is getting to him.] Konoha is my home, I wear green, and the other parts of my title refer to my other attributes!

Beautiful Beast, though? It's usually one or the other, I've never heard of anybody comparing themselves to a beautiful beast before.

Is that so? Then I'm glad to be unique in that sense, Ryuko-san! [He gives a sparkling smile.]

That's.. not a good thing...

Is that a name you earned, or just something given to yourself? [ REALLY DOESN'T WANNA KNOW, BUT. ]

It was given to me by my sensei! He happens to be Konoha's Sublime Green Beast of Prey, Maito Gai! [He poses dramatically.]

And let me guess, you were his greatest student. [ Clearly making fun of him a little. ] Konoha... that means "leaf", right? I don't think I heard of a village like that... How quaint.

That's right! It's know as the Village Hidden in the Leaves! Ah... I have done all my best to be his greatest student! I even follow all of his fashions! If you haven't heard of us... We must be that good at being hidden. [He missed the 'getting made fun of' part.]

But why would a village wanna stay hidden? It sounds kinda shifty and secretive.

Ah, because we are ninjas! Being secretive is living up to one of our duties...

[ She's about to finish making his drink, until: ]

I think I'd remember if ya did!! Besides, since when do ninjas wear bright green?! [ just wait until she sees orange boy naruto ]

Since Gai-Sensei made it fashionable!! We ninjas wear a wide variety of colored wardrobes!

They do? What happened to wearin' all black and hiding your faces? [ Like in the movies! ] Is fashion really that important?

Fashion depends on who you ask! Wearing all black and hiding one's face... That is a personal choice! Or may only be required by certain missions.

Ninjas... missions... I gotta say, Lee, you're cooler than I thought you were. [ Which was not a high level of cool to begin with, but shh. ] With your sneaking abilities, we could totally one-up CERES and get some answers outta them!

[He beams at the compliment!]

Ah... Thank you, Ryuko-san! Do you truly think I can manage to infiltrate CERES... I am not even sure where to start!

Me neither... maybe we should meet with someone who knows the layout of their HQ.

[ She places the finished smoothie in front of him. The cup even has his name on it! ] Someone... we can trust, preferably.

[He looks at the smoothie, impressed.]

Do we know anyone has such information? ...Luckily, I have yet to meet anyone untrustworthy at all!

That's only 'cause you impulsively trust anyone you meet! [ It's called being naive. ]

Isn't the rashness of youth a beautiful thing! It's how bonds of friendship are formed!

It's how you get screwed over if you're not careful. [ She wonders how Lee has even made it this far without realizing something so simple. ] Aren't most ninjas all about deception and assassination? Those are hardly trustworthy qualities, aren't they?

A-ah... Those are just... some methods! What ninjas are truly all about... It's protection! And loyalty!

[ That's so... stupidly sweet. The lapel on her uniform is suddenly dripping mysteriously. UGH, DON'T CRY SENKETSU. ]
