[ Kaoru's apology is well-timed, as he'd been about to hurl Shuu through the nearest brick wall. However, that instant of spitting fury acted like a reset button, and he's able to wrest his mind out of its Kaoru-induced state of extreme distraction.

Presently, he's able to tune into the chaotic jumble that passes for Shuu's thoughts. He is an actual five-year-old, mentally anyway, who knew? Not only that, but... if he's reading correctly, neither Shuu nor Kaoru are human, and not only that, but... ]

[ There is the slightest, most delicate emphasis on the word "her" which he is quite certain will fly over Shuu's head, but perhaps not Kaoru, who seems to be in possession of all of the family brain cells. He tucks his helmet under one arm, and slides his other hand into his pocket. ]
