I wouldn't mind a trip to the library... [Not really for researching this, but other things, and maybe a few adventure novels while he's at it.

As for the name mishap... Whether Kurapika made the mistake on purpose or not is unclear, but either way he obviously didn't care enough to get it right or even apologize. He flat-out ignores Shuu's correction other than giving him a bored look.]
