Who: Hirato & you~
When: November 15th
Where: Residential + Shopping districts + Novus/Replea
What: Some training, patrolling, and drinking.
Rating/Warning: None!
[ Residential District - Gymnasium early morning ]
Hirato isn't one for training per say. He's quite confident in his abilities but there's no need to not work up a bit of a sweat. Or lack thereof as he tackles some strange looking creatures. He'll be dodging then perfectly and without any delay as the things try to attack and overwhelm him. A group of them try to do so but he'll simply leap into the air and let loose a burst of air, which ends the fight in short order. It's pretty much done effortlessly on his part and he'll land on the ground with a pleased smile ever present on his face.
"A bit easier than I would have liked." He'll have to try something different next time.
[ Shopping District - Afternoon to Early Evening ]
As his work suggests Hirato is a patrol officer so it's really not surprising if you see one random pickpocket go flying through the air past you. Hirato will be there with the ever present smug ass expression on his face as usual. He'll walk over to the unconscious man and bend down with a smile, "perhaps you should rethink your choice of randomly taking other's belongings next time."
He'll say that with no amount of remorse in his tone. Taking back the items the thief so wrongfully stole Hirato will return them to their rightful owner before going back to his daily routine of patrol. He doesn't really seem to care about the surprised crowd and will continue on with his work. A few minutes later if you look lost or troubled you might have one smiling and quite polite Hirato next you, "if you're lost or looking for something perhaps I may be of service?"
Moral of the prompt is don't do illegal shit when Hirato is around. He takes his job v. seriously.
[ Novus/Repla - Night ]
He has heard that this bar is a place of underground going ons. By no means does he wish to partake of that sort of thing. But he does have a mind and a hobby of collecting information and what not. This place was still very new and interesting to him so he'll take whatever information he can get. Not that he won't have a drink or two while doing so. His clothing suggests that he's really not one for the bar scene because let's be real who goes into a bar with a dress shirt, tie, and a tophat? Hirato does that's who; he'll let the bartender take his time with his other customers. He looks relaxed and very much at ease but he's always on guard or aware of his surroundings.

He doesn't see what he's looking for straight away, and so he tilts his head to one side, listening with his ears and his mind. But the district is so crowded, all he can sense is cacophony. So when the tall man (made taller by the top hat) addresses him, he decides that he might as well simply ask. ]
Yes, I'm with the fire department, and I'm a designated first responder. We got a call about a man knocked unconscious by some vigilante in...
[ ...

[ He pauses a moment, to let that sink in. And then, brightly: ]
So! Any idea where the victim might be?

[ Hirato totally doesn't care that he's wearing formal wear. This was his standard manner of dress whenever on the job. It just sorta sticks with him regardless of the world or its attribute. Not that he really cares about people's opinions of him, Hirato wasn't so vain as to make such things a major concern. ]
I've yet to find her, but I can assume that she'll be arriving in a short while. He on the other hand- [ he looks pointedly at the unconscious man ] -isn't going to be much of an issue for awhile.

[ He drops to his knees beside the unconscious man, and with one hand produces a small flashlight, which he shines into the man's eyes, not that he is really looking at the sluggish pupillary response. This is because his other hand, pressed against the man's forehead, is glowing faintly with esp, as he senses neuronal bruising, diffuse axonal injury, and micro-hemorrhages, consistent with a grade III concussion. ]

After silently staring she then walked out and towards him, Bandersnatch at her side. "...You're strong."

He lands lightly back onto the gym's floor an expression of inquire directed towards Lily and her sudden manifestation.
"They were just unable to keep up. But these pests are nothing more than drones for the real threats." He doesn't say it in a pompous way but in a more of a matter of fact tone in his voice.
"May I ask what that is?" That being Bandersnatch, which he is currently eyeing both intrigued and warily all mixed together.

When the man's attention is back on her, she freezes for a moment before she blinks.
"The real thing?" Now she wants to know what the real things could do...or what they looked like! Were they like chains? They must be dangerous.
Thoughts going a mile a minute, she snapped back when she heard the question. "Bandersnatch." She answered with a calm tone. It was the creatures name. "My chain." The creature sniffed at the floor and then turned it's gaze onto Hirato.
