Who: Shinpachi & Vietnam
When: November 16th
Where: Outside of the car garage shop
What: Shinpachi gets a lunch delivery...

[ At least he was getting a little more used to his job. At first it had been a complete disaster, but now it was.. well, slightly less of a disaster? It's what happens when you expect a guy who doesn't get modern technology at all to try and repair cars, there was just a lot of failure going on before.
But by today things are at least a little better. If anything, Shinpachi will return to 1860s Japan with a surprising knowledge about cars and their inner workings.. maybe he can just invent the car way early or something at this point. Not that some stuff doesn't still go wrong or get dirty - even now, there's a huge smear of oil across the bridge of his nose that he doesn't seem to notice, his hair a little roughed up, and he's decided in true Shinpachi fashion - yes, even in the middle of November - to not zip up his overall for the most part, leaving most of his chest uncovered and bathing in sweat. He's just about ready to go on a photoshoot for one of those calendars with weird jobs in sexy poses, honestly.
Except that's not what he's doing right now. Since it's about time for lunch, he's moved out of the shop, standing outside and leaning his back against the wall with a sigh. Even a guy like him gets tired sometimes, okay! Especially concerning stuff like this.
His stomach is definitely grumbling though, maybe he should get moving.. after resting for just another moment. Yeah. Sounds good.
(He's never going to get anywhere before his break is over.)

But they're sitting here together!! Out in the fresh(???) air!! What could possibly ruin such a moment, really, and Shinpachi's already grabbing the chopsticks and putting the bento on his lap and everything, the image of a man ready to dig in. ]
Thanks for the food! [ At least he has manners. Somewhat. He's at least nice enough to show gratitude since this is a Big Deal to him?! Food is too important.. ] I'm gonna dig in!

Sitting all comfortably in this open fresh(?!?!??!) air! Everyone should be feeling so refreshed just walking past them, honestly. Or super hungry, with the aroma of food wafting everywhere now.

But then once he swallows that bite, he looks enthusiastic. Not that Shinpachi doesn't usually look that way, but still, it's a good sign! ]
Ahh, this is so good..! This is way better than any lunch I've ever had in this place before.. it's really is different when it's something homemade, huh?!

Ah, thank goodness. [AWESOME, one for nationkind and their abilities to cook (except England, you're on your own).] I am happy that you think it is better than some of the food here! Do you not often have homemade meals?

[ LISTEN.. he's just being honest, okay. Some of them like Saitou are decent, but the majority he wouldn't trust anywhere near a cooking pot if he'd want to live at least a few days more. ]
Chizuru-chan's a great cook though, so when she's around to do the cooking, then I'm sure enjoying some homemade stuff alright. But it'd be a little unfair to ask one girl to make lunch each day for so many men, huh.. so I've just been tryin' to get by.

I am sure Chizuru appreciates that you enjoy her cooking nonetheless. If you even get sick of whatever you are making do with, you can ask me. I can try to make something, since you enjoy what I make.
[SERIOUSLY, she's so flattered...] I can also teach you a few simple things that can help. All you need is a blender. [Seriously just blend fruits together for your muscles too, dude.]

It's hard to describe, since they come in many forms, but the basic core of it is that it is a containment with blades in them to chop everything into little bits in order to blend. If I find a picture, I will send it to you.
[It's okay, she won't question his manliness and intelligence by rice on his face. And she might mention that later. But no really, he has so much mundane luck she trusts he'll magically succeed, since who in the right mind gets the highest score in Flappy Bird by not paying attention?!]

Ah, not as often as I would like. I do make for my siblings, and they would do the same. I didn't have many friends to make lunch for. [And with work colleagues, they just usually went out. Or if someone was visiting her house/she had to bring something for visiting another house.]
