[ Having spent the past few days in relative peace, Naruto felt that this place is starting to grow on him. At the same time, he felt that the short-term peace that's present right now is kind of something that seems to signal that worse things are going to come relatively soon, whether it's in the form of something humiliating or genuinely dangerous. Or he might just be getting a bit too paranoid for his own good. Either ways, that feeling has left him being quite... bored. It's not that his current job is boring (ramen is one thing he'll never get bored of), it's just too... quiet. ]

Argh, damn it, there's really nothing to do here...!

[ Having perched himself at the top of the building, Naruto aired his frustration to... well, the air as he's just fuming to himself. ]

You realize that there is this thing called training, right?

[ The voice of his partner brought him back to reality as his frustrated face turned into a sheepish one. At the same time his voice became a bit... whiny. ]

Come on, Kurama, today's weather is a bit too nice for training!

[ A sigh greeted him the moment he said that. Sounding quite amused and exasperated at the same time, that's Kurama for you. ]

Sometimes I wonder how I ended up with someone like you.

Hey, it all ended up for the better, right? So don't worry about it, really!

[ With an amused chuckle, the gruff voice grew quiet, probably to take a nap. It's what the fox usually does at this time of the day anyways. Standing up, Naruto's going to just adopt a thinking pose, "hmm..." ing for a while before he looks up with a face that basically screams "I HAVE AN IDEA."

Oh boy. ]

[ Should you be in a ceilinged area, and happen to have met Naruto at least once, be very very careful, for today he's trying a new way to greet you , which is probably going to cause you to jump because there's no indication that he's actually there until he greets you— ]

[ Hanging upside down and waving to you as if it's practically normal to him. ]

Is it me, or is everything upside down today?

[ No, you're not upside down, it's just him, in case you feel like checking to see if it's true. ]

[ Or you might just find yourself suddenly being approached by a really cute girl that seems to look a little bit familiar if you've known Naruto for a bit. Either ways, it seems from the way she's being a bit bashful and how she's just looking around nervously that she's lost. And well, even if you're not approaching her, she's going to approach you anyways. ]

Erm, do you happen to know the way to the apartments, I think I forgot where mine was...

[ and she seems almost close to crying too... oh god... ]

[ Fortunately there are times when he's not playing tricks on you, because at times he's not, he's going to just hit ViVid up for some training. Whether it's just a negotiation thing or a combat stage, Naruto's just clearing it in the flashiest way possible. Or at times... Just wailing on whatever monster with his clones and... being a bit dishonourable about it.

Hey, he's a Ninja, fighting fair is kind of not the point when he doesn't have to follow a honour code okay. ]

[Even if she seems to be a bit older than Yuzu, this poor girl looks very cute and lost, so she'll go and see what's up! Though if that's her question... Yuzu's confused. She's pretty new herself, but that seemed like a no brainer.]

Huh? Aren't the apartments all in the same place? The metro rail only had one "residential district."

I know but... I was wandering around in a daze and I kind of lost track of which apartment I lived in...

[ ...she's either ditzy or faking it, and with how she's looking a bit confused, it's a bit hard to tell exactly which one it is for the moment. ]

[That's definitely weird. Who gets that distracted? The fact that the girl looked on the verge of tears earlier is probably the only thing that keeps giving her the benefit of the doubt. So, she hesitantly caves. She wouldn't want to leave a confused girl in trouble... even if she looks like she's a few years Yuzu's senior.]

I guess the buildings do look kind of similar. I could walk around with you and see if you recognize it - it's not too far, anyway.

[ WELL at the very least the girl seems very happy now that Yuzu wants to help her, so she's going to just... introduce herself now that's over and done with. ]

[Combat stage!! They're in a desert area, fighting giant scorpions, I guess?! Lee gives out a thrilled shout, this being his first time in Vivid since arriving, and he is taking on a separate giant scorpion.]

Naruto-kun!! Today my goal is... for my score to surpass yours! I'll do anything for this dream!!

Heh, you can try all you want bushy brows, but I ain't gonna let that happen!

[ Naruto meanwhile is just ganging up on it using his clones and probably letting loose a few Rasengan here and there too. It's definitely refreshing to have a sparring partner from home again, at the very least. ]

[It's refreshing for Lee, too. He might not have been in this place for very long, but it's still been a long time for him since he's trained with Naruto. It almost reminds him of the more carefree days, before the war...]

Your determination is as admirable as always, Naruto-kun! But I apologize, for I must challenge your own goal! [He shouts as he dashes towards his scorpion, swiftly dodging stabs of its tail.] But don't worry! One of us will succeed!!

We'll see about that!

[ He's going to move towards another scorpion, with his being defeated right in time as the clones dissipate in poofs of smoke. For this one, he's going to do it solo as he just peppers it with punch and kicks and the occasional kunai slashes.

Because why not, he's competing against Lee after all, and he needs the practice for Taijutsu anyways. ]

[ Athena just left the cosplay cafe, but was still in the shopping district. She isn't quite sure how to deal with someone who... well, just seems fishy. At the very least, she wants to help 'her' stop crying. ]

Hey, don't worry about it. [ She smiles brightly at the other person, hoping it would be somewhat comforting. ] I'm on my way home myself. I can help you find your apartment.

I was kind of wandering around when I got lost around here, my friend should be really worried about me by now...

[When suddenly out of nowhere, a gigantic fiery fist smashed into the remaining monsters.

It didn't stop there, blowing a hole in a nearby mountain from the impact. The crater looked significant enough.

Sabo, touching his chin, evaluated the damage from his point of origin, not far from Naruto--]

[ ...Okay, that was... flashy and destructive as all get out.

So Naruto's just staring blankly at the destruction before turning towards whoever did that... thing. ]

[Sabo, leaning aside to pick up a piece of pipe he had left on the ground, gave Naruto a beaming smile at that. He was really appreciating vivid for what it was--a chance to test things out for himself.

As flashily and without restriction as possible. He didn't have to worry a bit for hurting the real world while he did it.]

It'd be weird if I didn't take credit for something that cool, huh? [Sabo's right hand was still aflame, but in the next moment, he drew all of it back into himself, his arm tinted red before even that faded away.]

[ Either ways he's going to brighten up immediately after that statement, because boy special moves always pumps him up, especially if it's flashy. ]
