Where: Shopping District (primarily the Tech & Auto Shop + clothing/accessory stores)
What: Inaba's planning on getting her Hilda robot fixed at her workplace while she actually does her job. Shenanigans ensue. Afterwards, she decides to go shopping!
Rating/Warning: PG-13 at most, considering Inaba's crude use of language. I'll edit if anything changes.

[ It was a Friday. Which, thankfully, meant that classes were going to be a lot easier and she wouldn't have to deal with them for another two days. Of course, Inaba still had work after classes were done and over with. She did want to join a club, but it was hard to do such a thing. After all, the last club she was in was the Student Cultural Society Club - the StuCS. It was the club where she had met her very best friends and more importantly, Taichi. ]

OPTION I.

[ After the whole escapade online with the whole 'hot or not' photos, she decided that it would probably be for the best that she go and fix up her laptop. Working at the Tech & Auto Shop - specifically at the Holo(gm) section - did have its perks, truthfully, especially since she kept on bringing a lot of computers that were either broken down or taken apart. She was starting to have a collection, and she didn't know what to do with them. The robot she had gotten was honestly pretty nice, she had to admit. It had a creepy personality that didn't suit her tastes, but that could be fixed with a little adjustment. Which is why if you're out and about, taking the trains to the Shopping District or anywhere in that general direction, you might notice Inaba lugging an eerily familiar robot with her. Yes, she may have taken it with her when a certain somebody (read as: Yata) won the massage. And yes, she's bringing it to work with her, deal with it. If the robot ends up trying to massage you because it got turned on by accident, that sounds like a you problem. She's not going to deal with it unless someone complains, to be honest.

Please complain about it... ]

OPTION II.

[ When she's at work, she decides to just simply drop off the robot, turning it off - because that was complete hell to deal with, why did it turn on all of a sudden, she doesn't understand - before going to the backroom to switch from her school uniform to more work worthy attire. She's fully aware it's unsuitable for her, considering that it's nearly all white. She doesn't wear white a good percentage of the time. Her clothes generally lean towards the dark shades of blacks and blue hues, more neutral colors. Pants instead of skirts. Of course, uniforms were always an exception, but she just wasn't all that fond of wearing cute things. She felt that it didn't suit her. Nevertheless, she's wearing it, mostly because her boss said that it matches most of the Holo(gm) designs that were put on display. If you're around, feel free to stop on by - she doesn't mind anybody just visiting around or actually someone planning on buying something. It's a win-win for her, to be honest, especially since she's just sitting around on the couch looking through photos on her cell phone. Most of them seem to be pictures from back home, of dates with her boyfriend, of things that she did with her club members. But every now and again, there seems to be some photos from the hot or not post or just photos people have posted in general (she's saved all of them), so she may not notice if someone outright just decides to sneak up behind her.

But other than that, she isn't doing much. Ah, the life of a Holo(gm) salesperson... If you come up to her properly, she'll most likely hop off of the couch like a trained solider, forcing a smile as she runs a hand through her hair, bowing politely as she says the usual greeting. ]

[ Her polite tone definitely comes out as a little off putting, robotic, and maybe a little practiced, but that's because she's not used to working. Or talking to people in general. What is communicating?? ]

OPTION III.

[ After all's said and done, she decides to go home - alone - to go shopping. She's back wearing her school uniform (since she really doesn't want to embarrass herself any further) and she's left the Hilda robot at the store for repairs. Basically, she'll deal with it later.

She's mostly doing window shopping, but every now and again she seems to stop and stare at something. In fact, she's staring at wedding dresses in particular, looking at them with a rather wistful look in her eyes before sighing to herself. ]

[ Nobody heard that, right...? ]

The only thing ya should be calculating is how you're gonna afford that dress, let alone an entire wedding on a student's wages.

There's this thing called "saving money", have you heard about it? [ Her voice is literally dripping with sarcasm. ] I don't plan on getting the dress or having a wedding until my world's restored anyway.

[ Seeing as the person she would marry isn't here. ]

[ She finally approaches Inaba, standing beside her but her eyes are also drawn to the wedding dress. She doesn't stare at it as dreamily as her classmate, but she does look rather deep in thought, as if she's recalling an experience. ]

It's almost sad how this piece of clothing is so highly regarded, only to be worn for one day and never again.

Well, that's why you use the dress as a hand me down, right? For your children to wear it.

[ She's saying this in the most deadpan tone, tbh... ]

Sure, if they're the same size... or gender.

Geez, you're really thinkin' that far ahead, huh?

I always think far ahead enough in all sorts of situations.

In that case, you should go try it on.

Do you honestly think I'll be able to bring any of the dresses here back home? [ She's so skeptical... ]

It's only a possible situation you should think far ahead enough for, right? Besides, there's no guarantee that the "lucky guy" won't end up here as well.

[ Inaba opens her mouth for a second before immediately closing it. It's true that there isn't any guarantee, but... She doesn't really want to have a wedding here. She still needs to spend more time with him, to date him a little longer-

But she's certain her love will definitely win out and the future that she believes in will happen.

Probably. Maybe. ]

As much as I'd like Taichi to be here, he would be used by too many people and I don't [ Don't like that? Don't want people to use him? Scared that he'll become a selfless bastard again? ... Definitely all of the above. ] want that.

Used? I'm not sure what you mean. [ Is he a moron? ...Good thing Ryuko didn't vocalize that part. ]

[ She just lets out a deep, deep sigh. ]

He helps anyone who's in trouble. [ Translation: yes, he's a moron. ]

You're sayin' that's a weakness? You'd rather he not help anybody, or not even be around for ya to see him?

That's so screwed up.

It's... [ Inaba hesitates, biting her lower lip in frustration. Why was this so hard? ] It's not like that. It's not like that.

I don't want to see him hurt himself. I don't mind him helping people if it's for the right reasons. But Taichi might help someone at the cost of his own life. As much as I want to see him, I don't trust the people here enough so that they wouldn't abuse his kindness. I'm just worried about him. [ She's probably overthinking this. She knows she shouldn't worry, but she can't help but worry about it.

She's worried to the point where sometimes she thinks that he might be dead. ]

Man, talk about extreme case scenarios.

[ Have a... reluctant pat on your shoulder. Ryuko sucks at this whole comforting thing, but it's clear that Inaba is worried for the sake of someone else. It can't be easy, that's for sure. ]

...But that's why ya like him, right? If he wasn't like that, he wouldn't be the Taichi that you wanna marry. So yeah, it's hella screwed up.

He's always been like that.

[ Well, she'll smile a little, taking a deep breath in and out, placing her hands on her hips. ]

But it's only one of the reasons I like him. He's helped me a lot. But I guess you're right. Everything's pretty screwed up, if you ask me.

I guess you're not gonna try it on after all, huh?

What, do you want to see me in a wedding dress? I won't buy it, but trying it on is fine.

I'm just an enabler, it's really 'bout what you want.

Ha. . .! Then I'm taking you with me, because I'm not going in there alone.

[ She has zero interest in this, but can see why Inaba wouldn't want to go in alone. ] It is a bit sad, isn't it? Tryin' on some wedding dress on your own? Almost desperate...

Alright. But I'm just gonna watch, that's all. [ god help whichever clerk tries to help Ryuko with a dress. ]

It's only desperate if you're single.

[ Which she's not. So she has a reason to at least try the dress for future purposes. ]

I didn't say anything about you.

Go on, then. [ She'll make sure to have her Cerevice ready, HEHEH. ]

Just because you didn't say it didn't mean you didn't think of something.

[ But fine, she'll be entering the store, sifting through the many dresses before choosing one and rushing over to get changed. It'll take her a while, but eventually she'll reappear wearing the dress. ]

It doesn't look bad, does it? [ She wants thoughts. Just in case it... looks strange. She might try another one if it's really bad. ]

[ This is so stupid.

But shit, she actually looks cute. Poker face, Ryuko. ]
